There’s one slim chance to foil the Brotherhood’s plans, and only Jacq and Orin have the means to do it.
Thrust into a lethal final showdown that’s more game than race, Jacq and Orin quickly realize that the odds are once again rigged against them. And worse, their enemies have thrust those they love into the cross-hairs. The clock is ticking. A great conclusion to an awesome series. Secrets are finally being brought into the light. Jacq and Orin’s plans have changed and now these trials have become more than saving family but the entire human realm. The mystery and suspense are coming to a head and we see more action, adventure, danger and romance.
It’s down to the final four and the King with the Brotherhood are becoming bolder and now they’ve found the ultimate distraction. With family in eminent danger Jacq and Orin are making mistakes that just may get their loved ones killed. If they wish to stop the Brotherhood, they must accept help from unlikely enemies and friends. However, all is not as it seems, and information provided just may help the King bring about the end.
The authors have done a fabulous job with keeping us hooked from beginning to end and I look forward to reading more from each of them.
I don’t like cheaters. But I sure do LOVE it when they get their due. Awesome story. I would like to see more from this world. Also to see how things work out between the sister and their mates.I received a complimentary review copy of the book and I am voluntarily leaving a honest review.
book three takes off straight from book two. i was lucky and got both at the same time. the trials contains many challenges along the way. the most dangerous are yet to come. in book three jacq and orin find what the brotherhood wants and have to decide if the risks are worth it. to find out what dangers are next and how the teams make it thru grab your set and expect to be spellbound from start to finish i know i was. i believe the series would make a great movie.
The Doomsday Trial is the last book in The Faerie Race trilogie. It has been a really good series.
Jacq and Orin need to win this race and find a way to stop the Brotherhood plans in order to save both the human and faerie world. Really love the unique trial they have to face.
I have receive an ARC by J.A. Armitage for this book.
How Will The Fantastic Faerie Race End?
Its Jacq & Orin vs Tristam & Sophia in the final trial to see who wins overall in the FF Race! They’ll need to utilise everything they’ve learned in the other trials to be victorious – stamina, magic, team work, brain power etc Then there’s the usual diabolical twists to face as well & this time it’s not just themselves on line, their loved ones are in play on the game board too!!! Plus they’ll need to try & help thwart what ever the power hungry Faerie King & the Brotherhood has planned too, if at all possible!
This has been such an enjoyable, tense & twisted trilogy. I’ve loved the characters & world that these authors created. I felt this final book, though not as dark as the other two, was a really satisfying finale. Everything ended as it should have, I felt!!
