Welcome to the final round of The Faerie Race—an epic adventure through a realm as compelling as it is deadly… high.
Only the unexpected reappearance of her long-lost sister keeps Jacq in the game, but Cass’s presence comes with troubles of its own. The ancient Brotherhood is closer than ever to carrying out a twisted plot that would mean an end to modern human civilization. There’s one slim chance to foil the Brotherhood’s plans, and only Jacq and Orin have the means to do it.
Thrust into a lethal final showdown that’s more game than race, Jacq and Orin quickly realize that the odds are once again rigged against them. And worse, their enemies have thrust those they love into the cross-hairs. The clock is ticking. Jacq and Orin have one slim chance to foil the Brotherhood’s plans and win the race, or they’ll lose more than just the competition. They’ll lose everything and everyone they hold dear.

I love this author and this book was amazing. Great characters, wonderful storytelling, and awesome worldbuilding. A great addition to the Faerie Race series!
The authors have given us another winner! Bad pun, I know, but what can I say? The book is a final winner in a trilogy of winners about a couple of winners, and what a win! I better stop here – I will definitely let too much out of the bag if I keep talking. Read this!
I received a review copy from the authors and I am voluntarily leaving a review.
As always this author finishes strong as the trails end and the sisters are reunited. The budding romance between the mc’s is strengthened and thankfully the authors keep it clean so it doesn’t distract from the story. The feelings are still muddled and new and with a decision having to be made soon. That’s not all by a long shot and while it’s still part of the story it isn’t the highlight. Plenty of action, magic, intrigue and betrayal from teammates and others keep these two hoping as the battle against more than their rivals. The action will keep your heart racing and you screaming in your head as they dash from one hell to the next and continue to survive. This time they may end up trusting the wrong person and it may cost lives, not just theirs. The fate of the human world is at their fingertips they can’t afford to be wrong.
Our favorite contestants Jacq and Orin have made it to the final trial in the Faerie Race. Jacq and Orin have come to the conclusion that the trials are more than just a game and a TV reality show. They have come to realize that the trials/games are just a front for something bigger and lives are at stake. No one was supposed to get hurt or die in the trials or so they were told or lead to believe but they now know they were lied to.
The Faerie King has something up his sleeve and is using the trials to hide behind. The secrets that the King is hiding could cost many their lives in the Faerie world as well as the human world. Once Jacq and Orin figure out that there is more at stake than they realized it is a race against the clock or other contestants to the end of the race so they can stop the King before it is too late.
The Doomsday Trial is filled with action from the start of the race from beginning to the end with plenty of twists and turns to hold your interest and keep you in enthralled with all its magic. The excitement alone is enough to keep the pages turning. The Doomsday Trial is so vividly written that it is like seeing a movie play out in your head. I was rooting for our favorite contestants through the whole race but I will have to admit there was a time when I sort of was wishing that they would not be in first place at the end.
Oh and speaking of the end that ending was so amazing one that I never quiet expected but it did make me so happy to see. I really liked how it all turned out in the end. What an amazing race it was.
Jacq and Orin seemed to grow so much throughout all three books and it was nice to watch their attachment for each grow and to see them become closer and closer and to see a little romance between developing.
I would highly recommend The Doomsday Trial as well as the other two books The Sorcery Trial and The Elemental Trial in the The Faerie Race series to all fans of fantasy. If you like The Hunger Games then I think you would like The Faerie Race series.
This series rocks! A faerie race, what? This wasn’t a race like most races. People died of have been injured. Magic was included and hell hounds as well and a human or fae had to be in good physical condition, a little magic didn’t hurt. Jacq, a female human and Orin, a male fae was grouped together, though neither wanted to be with the other. From the git go, it was spite and fight, but they managed to change things. The storytelling and writing for this series was spectacular! Loved these books!
The Doomsday Trial is the the third and final trial in the Faerie Races! This series was action packed and thrilling! It was such a fun read, and I loved how it turned out!
What a great ending to an amazing series!
I am so happy at the way Jacq and Orin’s story ended! It was one crazy roller coaster ride that’s for sure. I enjoyed reading every second of it! I can’t say enough how much i love this series. It really is awesome! I highly recommend this series as a must read! You won’t be disappointed! You will fall in love with the characters and root for them until the end!
This has been a fantabulous series, one that has hooked me from the start and I am sorry to see it ending! Action packed this race has been exciting , dangerous, a total rollercoaster of a ride that has been thrilling to be part of and the characters are just fantastic! This collaboration between these two authors has been addictive and I really hope they write some more together! I truly recommend this series!
Just had to get into this one to see what is next having read the first two. This author is good at depositing us into another world with characters that can capture us as the author has done again in this one.
The drama is at its highest with Jacq and Orin giving us the first in this. Others will also have their time in this with even some surprises. Still not fair this one will be the most challenging with us chomping at the bit at times. This was also beyond what I imagined which is very good thing.
Twists and turns make for a fast pace at times. Different kind of world so held my interest longer. By the time you reach the top of this one you can hardly stand it with when finished a well deserved rest needed almost.
This is a fantastic ending to the series. Its fast paced and action packed as well as heart pounding. Its a real page turner. There is never a dull moment in this read. There’s lots of twists and turns. The Authors have done a fantastic job on the world building and bringing out the Characters. I definitely recommend.

A phenomenal finish to this series of books! I enjoyed the friendship between Orin and Jacq, the intensity of the trials, and the grand expose! Wonderfully written and intensely captivating, this is a must read! I loved it!
Wow, wow, WOW! Bravo ladies, Bravo! Positively amazing, from start to finish. After that jaw dropping cliffhanger in “The Elemental Race” this book is even more dangerous than the last, the characters are at the height of their misery and the author’s weaved a storyline so incredible, so powerful it leaves you gasping with surprise! Truly a great read!
The third book in the series is just as unpredictable and action packed as the first two.
Jacq and Orin are still charging toward the finish line. I was glued to my kindle until I finished this book.
This is the concluding title in the Fairy Race trilogy, and what a wild ride it is! Jacq and Orin have arrived at the last trial, and by this point they have some unexpected allies. But they realize the stakes are higher than they even knew, and the fate of two worlds depends on them. I loved every book in this trilogy, and I am very sad to see it go. The only thing I didn’t like about this book, and it’s really a small thing, was it was hard to imagine the board. Other than that, this was an action-packed, romance-filled, intrigue-laden book that I loved from the opening scene in book one to the ending scene in book three. I will definitely keep my eyes on these two authors who were new to me to make sure to catch their other books. I highly recommend this book and the whole series in general! I was provided the e-book which I voluntarily reviewed.
Fantastic finale!!!
OMG what a ride!!! … Jaqc and Orin finally met Cass, finding out the real plan and the master minds behind the Fairie Race… Now more than ever, they are determined to win the final Trial in order to stop the Brotherhood… But they are not prepared to face all the twists and turns throw at them at every corner… Amazing story line, great world building, awesome characters, Jaqc and Orin won’t dissapoint you… Would love an spinoff following this lovely couple!!!
A deadly race that’s rigged. A threat to civilization itself. Action, suspense, thrills. And romance (can’t forget romance). Oh yes indeed, when it comes to climactic endings, Claire Luana & J.A. Armitage are the masters. The Fantastic Faerie Race will come to a grand conclusion, and every thread in this series’ complex story arc will be thoroughly dealt with in The Doomsday Trial (The Faerie Race Book 3). No surprise that when you put two masterful authors together you get a masterful conclusion. Jacq and Orin get the ending they deserve -and do so we readers. But for the fact that I’m literally dictating this review to my husband from my hospital bed I could go on and on with praises. The book definitely deserves it. Since I can’t do that I will simply note that the book is most definitely one to read, and it is easy to highly recommend.
The Doomsday Trial is the third and last book in The Faerie Race series. We are now down to two teams who will do what it takes to win. For Jacq and Orin it is a race not only to save family and loved ones but the human realm as well(the Fae King and his henchmen (the Brotherhood) want to break the barrier between Faerie and humans so he can rule both). This is a fat-paced, page-turning extremely well-written finale. Be sure not to miss this series. Received an ARC and this is my voluntary and honest review.
Stupendous ending to wonderful series.
It’s almost sad to see the ending of this series, but races end. It’s now down to two couples. Orin and Jacq, and Tristam and Sophie. But if the first two trials were dangerous, this one is worse. Life and death, especially for Earth. The last trial is a game of chess with live characters as the chess pieces, scattered throughout a town in faerieland. But the chess pieces are comprised of family, and former racers. And if either if the two teams make a move that takes another chess piece, the two pieces (live people) have to fight to the death to determine a winner. They can’t stop even though they try. Orin and Jacq have to stay alive, keep their relatives and friends on the chess board safe, and finish the race. Oh yeah! They also have to stop the King of faerieland and his supporters from breaking the barrier between humans and the fae. If he breaks the barrier, he will take over as the ruler of everyone, humans and faerie.
ONE KICK-ASS ADVENTURE!!!
Highway to hell! Perilous drama, chilling danger, electrifying suspense, throw in the added bonus of uncovered revelations and speculation along with tension and intrigue blaze all of those jagged pieces together smoothly. When hard decisions have to be made, put on your ass-kickin’ boots and and get to stomping’. You are not going to believe how this climax plays out. Toss in the thrilling scenario’s and you have one prize winning nailbiting delight. A throng of startling circumstances and a slew of surprising events blast those churning emotions forward in this intense storyline and gripping plot. The characters are genuine, tangible and realistic with such depth and qualities that blend and flow fluidly. The scenes are written with such realism and colorful descriptions it paints an incredible backdrop that blows this baby wide open. Remarkable job guys, thanks for sharing this little treasure with us.
I received an ARC copy of this book for an honest review.
This is the last book in the Faerie Race series, and what a series it’s been.
This book is amazing, just like the first two.
We see Jacq and Orin race against Tristam and Sophia to see who will win the Faerie Race.
But as we know from the other book’s there is something sinister going on, and is Jacq really going to meet up with her long lost sister Cass after 2 years of searching for her
The game that the players have to play is once again heavily tipped in Tristam’s favour, with plenty of risks along the way for Jacq and Orin, as they always seem to find trouble
This book is really well written and thoroughly enjoyable with lots of twists and turns along the way that will keep you on your toes and awake saying, just one more chapter
I would definitely recommend this book/series as they are really entertaining
