From the New York Times bestselling author Sandi Lynn comes a brand new standalone romance. The only thing I ever wanted in life was a family of my own. I daydreamed about marrying the perfect man and starting a family more than I lived in reality. At the age of thirty and many failed relationships, I discovered that maybe marriage and the perfect husband wasn’t in the cards for me. My biological … cards for me. My biological clock was ticking so I decided to start a family on my own as a single woman living in New York City. After finding the perfect sperm donor from the New York Cryobank, I put my plan into motion. The only thing that mattered in my life was raising my child. Then, by some act of fate, I met a brutally handsome man. A man who didn’t care that I was already pregnant. A man who made me swoon and swept me off my feet. He was too good to be true because as far as I was concerned, guys like him didn’t exist. I trusted him and I fell in love, until I found out the truth about him and his motives.
My name is Harper Holland, and this is my story.
It all started with a bet. A bet between me and my best friend. He won, I lost, and it was time to pay up. He promised me nothing would ever come of it. But something did. I was a rich and successful businessman who topped the list of New York’s most eligible bachelor. A man who was anti-relationship in every way. My grandfather didn’t like the way I lived my life and offered me an ultimatum. He gave me one year to meet someone and fall in love or else the company that was rightfully mine would go to someone else. Harper Holland was beautiful and sexy. She was the perfect woman to ensure my grandfather signed his company over to me. After all, she was pregnant with my child, only she didn’t know I was the father. Once I got my company, I would end the “so called” relationship. The problem was I never expected something so easy to become the hardest decision of my life.
My name is Grayson Rhodes, and this is my story.

Such a sweet book! But i have to admit, It was frustrating!! Grayson was a complete jerk!! Revelations turned everything around! Birth of a baby and forgiveness!
Sandi Lynn is truly an amazing author, her books NEVER disappoints me!! The Donor was as always a new adventure and truly amazing. The love story between Grayson and Harper is not what you’ll expect. You will get mad, annoyed and hate him a bit, but then you will fall head over heels for him. This is a new and perfect book for any readers. As always Sandi Lynn gets 5stars for her book, it I could give her more stars she would have the sky. I highly recommend this book to everyone!!!! Loved it!!!
Another great story. This story will definitely suck you in with its great storyline. I loved the characters. The connection and flying sparks will keep you engrossed throughout the book. Its and entertaining read and not to be missed.
Another hit from Sandi Lynn! I can’t get enough of her books and this one per usual was added to the list! She has the ability to take somewhat of a standard storyline and make it her own and better than the average book. I love how Harper is sure of what she wants and goes after it, in this case starting a family without a man. Bad for Grayson is that after a bet with his best friend and a miscommunication, he becomes the donor for Harper’s baby and she becomes pregnant. Grayson is the typical rich guy who is terrified of commitment, but once his grandfather gives him an ultimatum, he devises a plan to use Harper to secure the company without her knowing he’s the donor. Per usual, things never go according to plan, and once everything is out in the open, combined with Grayson’s lack of empathy in a relationship, Harper is devastated, and works to make a life for her and her baby that doesn’t include Grayson or his monetary donation, but once they realize there are true feelings behind the hurt, they find their way back together in a unique way. These books really pull out the emotion and make you feel like these characters are your friends – can’t wait for the next book!!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
Grayson and Harper’s love defies the odds! I have read most of Sandi Lynn’s books and she amazes me with all those swoon-worthy words. This book may be one of my favorites! Grayson is a rich, sexy, alpha asshole who only thinks about himself. He thinks he’s God’s gift to women and never gives the women he sleeps with a second thought or a second date. This is something his grandfather is all too aware of and has a plan to put his grandson’s playboy ways to a screeching halt. In order for Grayson to inherit company, he must prove he can settle down and the relationship has to be legitimate. He is opposed to the idea at first but later decides he has worked too hard to let this go to another family member. A lost bet from his best friend and misfiled/misplaced sperm places Grayson with the perfect opportunity to meet the mother of his child and her name is Harper Holland. Harper’s ex called off their wedding 3 months to their nuptials. She’s pretty much given up on true love and decides she would love to have a child of her own. Her biological clock is ticking. She decides to try a sperm bank. When she finds out she’s pregnant she is overjoyed. She soon finds out she was recently laid off from her job. Things look bleak until she meets Grayson in a coffee shop. Sparks fly and soon they are dating. Harper is upfront with Grayson about her pregnancy and is surprised about his acceptance of her situation. Grayson thought his plan would work but he soon learns that you can not deny love. He knows he will crush Harper’s heart once she finds out what his true motives were for the relationship. Now his feelings have changed; will he be too late? Reading the journey through their relationship was amazing and I know every reader will enjoy it!!!
Losing wasn’t something Grayson Rhodes was used to but upon losing a bet to his best friend, he complied and paid up. Little did he know the true costs.
When Harper Holland decided her biological clock was ticking double time, she made a decision. An informed one but a drastic one. What’d she didn’t expect was to have the bottom fall out of her life only to have it rebuilt, remodeled, and rejuvenated. But a chance meeting or so she thought, led to more than her dreams coming true. Enter Grayson. He seemed perfect but looks were certainly deceiving. Harper was a calculated risk and plan. One that would either have an ultimate payout or an all out bust.
Grayson saw Harper as the perfect piece to complete the puzzle of his life. Capture her, please his family, and ta da, change made, everyone happy. Except this fairytale turned into a nightmare.
WOW just WOW .. Sandi did it again .. she will make you angry, cry, scream and fall in LOVE all in one book for one character. The way she pulls at your heart strings in the book for both characters will make you want to run out and get a cranberry muffin of your own. It might bring you closer to someone <3
Greyson and Harper’s story is somewhat enthralling .. it is something some might want but don’t know how to achieve it .. so when Harper takes matters into her own hands to give her self her own family she never dreams that she will ever know the Donor of her baby but when a prank go wrong she just might get her wish or maybe she shouldn’t know because boy oh boy she won’t be happy when she finds out ....
Grayson is not the boyfriend type but when he finds he need to be one to get what he has worked his whole life for he goes about it in the WRONG WAY.
But sometimes just some understand and caring words from a wise old man can make a bad situation better or was it the rain storm ??
Hearts and Flowers everywhere !! Loved every word .. even the lying ones !!
I love that Sandi Lynn can really give you a jerk of a hero but she brings it around full circle and he changes and you see he really is a great guy and he makes up for all the crap he did. The Donor is such a great book. Grayson and Harper and both amazing characters with personality. Sandi makes it hard to put a book down. I really felt for Harper when she found out the truth but I love how devastated Grayson was by his actions. I loved his Grandfather and I loved their reunion. Great story.
Grayson is a self-absorbed, power driven, successful businessman. He doesn’t see any value in relationships and enjoys his throw away attitude towards women and sex. Harper has always wanted a family and has reached an age where she has decided to be a single mother and enlists a sperm bank to assist. Grayson loses a bet and his best friend makes him donate to the sperm bank with the promise that no one will get access to his profile. As Harper embarks on her journey, her freelance work as a graphic artist hits a snag. A chance encounter over a muffin at the coffee shop introduces her to Grayson, a charming man that says all the right things, even having a job opportunity for Harper. Grayson’s grandfather is tired of his playboy ways and threatens to take away the company from him unless he finds someone to settle down with, enter Harper. As Grayson works to win over Harper and fulfill his grandfather’s demands, will he realize that love won’t break him? As Harper seems to get everything she ever wanted, what happens if the truth is revealed? I enjoyed how Harper kept Grayson on his toes while opening him up to so many new experiences. He frustrated me many times but watching him open up and embrace the possibility of a different life made this a great journey to experience. I voluntarily read an ARC of this book and this is my honest review.
The Donor is amazing!! Once I read the blurb, I was immediately intrigued. Ms. Lynn definitely thought outside the box with The Donor, the plot is fulfilling and exceeded my expectations.
The Donor is so much more than Harper getting pregnant via a donor from a cryobank and then meeting Grayson. And what seems like a coincidence really isn’t. The storyline is not only entertaining and concise, but it’s an excellent combination of a little angst, romance, surprises and of course, oh SO HOT sexy times!! There were times where I wanted to kill Grayson as he came across as a cold, heartless jerk. However, Harper certainly held her own with him and I loved her for that. This is a very good book that I highly recommend reading.
Only Sandi Lynn can make you fall in love with a male character you start off wanting to throat punch. Grayson is definitely that guy. After having his sperm chosen when it was only supposed to get “lost” in the files and then a positive pregnancy Grayson had to find this woman. His grandfather gave him an ultimatum: find love in a year or lose the company. Grayson’s life was money and greed. He had no time for relationships let alone love. But when he found out Harper was the woman who received his sperm and was now pregnant with his child everything was perfect. Let her fall in love with him, show his grandfather he found love, have the company signed over to him then leave Harper and all would be right with the world. See what did I tell you, jerk, want to do more than throat punch him. He would have everything he worked for. But what he didn’t know would happen was what would he do when he fell in love with her. Not something he gave great thought to but none the less what happened. But will she ever know he is the father and his deception?
Like I said only Sandi Lynn can transform the worst of men and have you fall in love with them. The Donor is no exception. The transformation of Grayson will have you cheering for this couple every step of the way. Sandi Lynn knows how to give her readers everything she has. Her stories are always amazing and they get better with every one she writes.
Loved it. Once I started reading this book it was fend for yourself time in my house. I couldn’t stop reading if I tried. I was happily pulled into the story and kept there throughout. I loved the characters and how the story unfolded was brilliant. The storyline was fantastic and kept my attention. Another absolute hit for Sandi.
If Sandi Lynn wrote it, you know you’re getting a great read. Loved Harper and her tough personality. She is trying to be independent. I went back and forth with Grayson. I loved him and hated him at the same time. If you want a book that will draw you in, you need to read The Donor. You won’t want to put it down.
I really enjoyed reading this book; the storyline was heartbreaking but beautiful. The characters reeled me in and I could feel their pain through the authors writing. and. I definitely recommend this book as well as the others by this author.
I thought it was poorly written, plotted and had characters that were either oblivious or reprehensible. the lead male character has no redeeming virtues, he uses women and discards them like a used tissue. he uses the heroine without regard for her. the heroine is so oblivious she’s told by a long time employee the boss never allows anyone to work at home. this raises no flags for her. neither does the fact that she finds a 2 bedroom apartment in NYC so cheaply. She gets pregnant and yet has unprotected sex with a known man whore. she actually takes his word that he’s clean?!?! seriously? His friend (the CEO of the sperm bank) breaks the law and his friend doesn’t care he could go to jail or risk massive civil lawsuits over his actions. I gave up on this book, it was just too silly and I did not like any of the characters.

Loved Grayson and Harper’s story! Their story was entertaining and very well written. It was so much more than Harper getting by a sperm donor. I enjoyed every page of this book!
