Terry is rich, attractive and all Dom.When he sees something he likes, or more accurately, something his d**k likes, he gets it. His women are hot, successful and experienced in BDSM.Until, he meets Maggie. She’s not at all his usual type. She’s round, lush and a hot-mess of a woman. It’s obvious she doesn’t belong at La Petite Mort Club and he can’t help following her. She needs someone to look … Petite Mort Club and he can’t help following her. She needs someone to look out for her. She’s a little rabbit in a club full of predators.
When she gets herself into a situation, he has no choice but to rescue her.
When he realizes that she’s a natural submissive and innocent of the kinkier side of sex, he’ll stop at nothing to have. He can’t wait to show her how good it’ll feel when she surrenders to his desires.
Maggie had no idea that the club she was going to was a “sex” club.
She tries not to look, but there are people doing it everywhere. She is not getting turned on by it. Not at all. Really, she isn’t.
All she has to do, is find her friend and get out of there.
Of course, that’s easier said than done. Not only has she bumped into just about every person in the club, but one of the men—a very handsome and extremely rude stranger—not only follows her, but suggests that they “do it” in the hallway. As if she’d ever do something like that. She’s a recently divorced, mother of three, not some wild, young woman.
She tells him, in no uncertain terms, what she thinks of his suggestion but then, she finds herself in a dangerous situation.
Will the rude stranger save her, or will he turn out to be even more dangerous than the others?

OMG this is the hottest BDSM story I’ve ever read. I couldn’t stop reading, and I’m not normally a huge fan of this genre. The main characters are both so perfect. The dom and the frumpy housewife…Terry is a total jerk but also so caring and kind that you just can’t help but root for him. Who wouldn’t want to be pursued so relentlessly as he pursues Maggie? And I love how Maggie is proud of her hard work and sacrifice as a mom, her independant spirit, and how she learns to lean on Terry for support. It’s beautiful and loving and I was drawn in from the start. Not only that, the sex was hot enough to melt my fingers! WARNING: don’t start this set unless you have the time and aren’t going to be distracted…you’ll want to read it all in one thrilling sitting. Enjoy!
If you like kink you will like this book. This book is Terry’s book and all starts in La Petite Mort Club of course and Terry who is a Dom looks up and sees what appears to be a frightened woman in the club. He goes to help her and in order to do so, he has to follow her. Oh the little rabbit, as Terry has taken to call this woman in his head leads him on a merry chase throughout the club and into one of the rooms that she really should not be going into. Terry goes into get her out and causes a scene, not of the BDSM kind at all. Seems that little rabbit is Maggie and she was tricked into coming into the Club by her ex-sister in law. Terry knows a natural sub when he sees one but Maggie, well she wants nothing to do with him. So he has to tread lightly and slowly and for some reason, he really wants to get to know her. Life takes on new meaning with his little rabbit in the picture. This is a really good book with all the honest speak as my husband says.
I will admit that I hated Terry after reading Nick and Sarah’s story. He was rude and mean. Terry calls it being honest. So, I was not planning on reading this series until I read an excerpt from the beginning. I had to know what happened as Terry ended up following Maggie, his rabbit, during a visit to the club. I dove in and couldn’t put it down.
This story has two characters who have been chewed up and spit out by marriage and are picking up the pieces the best they can to keep going on. Maggie has 3 kids she is doing her best to support on her own while working a job that doesn’t cover the bills. Terry doesn’t do relationships, he does arrangements and he is eager to have Maggie as his new sub.
They are magic together until the rest of the world creeps in to their bubble. Both are so desperate to never be hurt again, they continue to push the other away even as they want to pull the other closer.
A great story about starting over and finding love where you least expect it with the author’s signature heat and steam.
I absolutely love all of her books. I read this one twice I loved it so much. I could not put it down.
So sometimes romance novels have the guy screw up and do idiotic things in the name of plot. It ends up feeling a bit stilted because I get the urge to say, “surely, he is not that dumb?” But the bumps in the road in this relationship felt pretty natural, so I didn’t have that same urge to roll my eyes. I will be reading more by Ellis O. Day for sure! Happy Reading!
Ellis had done it again; a book that you will love for all of the right reasons. Steamy sex and a will they/won’t they theme. Terry follows his head in business, never follows his heart because that got broken and so follows another part of his anatomy for relationships; when he meets Maggie it is that part of him that is drawn to her, but she has responsibilities and while she is very attracted to Terry, she doesn’t want to be a one-night stand, but Terry thinks she a natural Sub and plans on making her his for as long as he wants her.
Wow this book get so hot you may need a cold shower I absolutely could not get enough of this I was hooked from the first page great writing job bravo loved it and if anyone is looking a steamy wonderful read then add this one to your list you will not be disappointed I was not, I loved it

Terry And Maggie’s Story Brings Together Two Very Real Characters, Lonely In Their Own Ways, Who Both Need Rescuing.
Terry, in his mid forties, uses his brain by day. At the club, however, he follows a different body part. Tall, dark, and terribly handsome, he is very fit for his age and is a sharp dresser. But he is also rude and crass – though he might prefer to call it brutally honest. He hasn’t chased a woman in years; they come to him willingly. As a dominant, his control is famous. He may be arrogant, but he has earned that label.
Terry had been burned by his ex-wife years ago. After twelve years of marriage, Morgan had walked away with the house, his cars, his law firm, the kids, and some valued friendships. He knows from experience that lies abound in divorce. Today he is a hard-nosed divorce attorney and has reconstructed his life. He has a successful practice, has rebuilt his wealth, and vows never to marry again.
Terry may avoid commitment, but he has a healthy appetite for kink. After his divorce he became a member of La Petite Mort Club, a private club catering to those with similar interests and offering a safe place to meet up and indulge. Terry had practically lived at the club outside of office hours or courtroom appearances, but recently he has spent more time at home. He enjoys the company of his dog, but loneliness is beginning to settle in his life. He hopes to find a new sub to train and enjoy, which should help to fill the void. His women are typically tall, athletic, and put together CEO types with experience. The kind that knows what they want and that likes to be in charge. He loves the challenge.
Maggie, in her mid thirties, is lonely. After her divorce over a year ago, her life began to crumble. She works as a hostess at Outback to support her three kids, ages two through eight, but struggles to put food on the table. Her rusted car keeps breaking down so her
job is in jeopardy. And she needs to move. She has always tried to do the right thing. She goes to church and had married her college sweetheart, yet she cannot seem to catch a break. And her self-esteem doesn’t help matters. She has yet to lose the baby weight from when little Davey was born. David, her ex, hadn’t wanted her anymore because she was fat, so she is keenly aware of how unattractive she has become.
Her pride is a powerful motivator, though. Combined with her stubbornness, she keeps going despite her many challenges. But if she were honest with herself, she would love to have a man in her life, someone to lean on and share her life with. She is in a bit of a romantic quandary, however. She isn’t in a position to have flings – not as a single mother. And she doesn’t have time for a relationship. When Vicky Givens, her ex-sister-in-law, reaches out to invite Maggie to an evening out, she is thrilled that her old friend wants to remain in her life and happy to have adult company for an evening.
When Terry runs into a wide-eyed, fearful, hot mess of a woman at the club during an open night event, in which guests are welcomed, he knows immediately that not only is it the woman’s first time at the club, but she is completely out of her element. Despite the fact that she is not his type – she is short and curvy and innocent-looking – he is drawn to the scared little rabbit, a natural submissive.
Maggie panicks when she realizes the kind of club her friend asked to meet her at. She frantically searches for Vicky to no avail, but just when she really needs help, a handsome stranger comes to her rescue. He tells her flat out that he wants her, making her blush, but as tempting as the opportunity to be with a man again is, she just cannot bring herself to say yes.
Terry and Maggie’s story brings together two very real characters, lonely in their own ways, who both need rescuing. The Dom’s Submission is written three parts. The first part is the story of Terry’s seduction of Maggie. The second is the story of Terry and Maggie’s struggle to define their relationship. The third installment of Terry and Maggie’s story turns angsty as the divide between the couple becomes a deep chasm. Terry’s crass comments and Maggie’s stubborn independence create an enticing tension, while Terry’s friends are heartily entertained by his jealousy and sudden change in taste, making him an easy target for their jests.
Bound by their pasts, neither can cross the divide that separates them without hurting themselves. Terry is paralyzed from the loss he experienced following his divorce years ago, while Maggie struggles to maintain her independence and minimize her vulnerability following her recent divorce, a task complicated by the fact that she is a single mom of three young children. Taking a time-out for self-evaluation is necessary, but not without its own risks. The couple eventually earns a touching HEA!
This story is an easy read – sweet and sexy, angsty and heartwarming. The POV alternates between Terry and Maggie, though much of the story belongs to Terry, who has silently suffered for years. It is written in the third person. The plot is light but sufficiently developed. The characters are nicely defined given the length, although it would be nice to know more about Maggie. Terry’s friends from La Petite Mort Club play an important supporting role for both Terry and Maggie. I rate this book four stars.
Holy smokes and daaaaaaang was this a great series! Maggie and Terry are insanely hot together and reading their interactions with each other burned each page of this book!
Maggie, being a newly divorced and single mom, trying to admit that she has needs and wants sexually is completely relatable and understandable. Just because we women are mothers doesn’t mean our bodies shut down and we no longer crave to be desired and wanted sexually.
Terry, having been hurt severely in the past and being a dominant, comes across Maggie at his club and is instantly intrigued by her; both physically and quickly emotionally as well.
The storyline is strong, and the mention and descriptions of a Dominant role and submissive role is well written and displayed with these two characters. I specifically liked how Terry tells a young woman in the club that she should never play with a Dominant who is angry as he will then not have any control of the scene and playtime. VERY good advice and so very very true.
Both Maggie and Terry are frustrating with their thoughts and worries about each other and their back and forth creates such an intense environment, you can FEEL the hot angry sexually charged sex between them on each page.
I highly suggest this series not only as a really good naughty read for its sexually charged scenes but also for the strong example of a Dom/sub relationship and how it can play out. In the end, trust and communication are shown to be of the utmost important between both people in this type of relationship, as it is in any type of personal relationship ideally.
I found this 3-book series a delightful, entertaining read! This series follows the story of Terry (H), a divorce lawyer, and Maggie (h), a shy, divorced mom of 3 children under age 10. Terry is blatantly dominant in and out of the bedroom. He’s sophisticated, wealthy, jaded, and he is certain the only type of woman for him is tall, slim, s$xy. He chooses beauties who want to play, not stay. He believes most women are only out to marry and take their husbands to the cleaners, and he won’t be falling into that trap again! Maggie is confronting many struggles in her life including adjusting to switching from being a stay-at-home mom to life in a dead-end job. She barely makes ends meet. She is introverted and often struggles with low self-esteem. She is sexually quite “vanilla” and is definitely kink-unaware. In other words, H and h are poles apart from each other! When Maggie is pranked by her former sister-in-law, she finds herself wandering around a BDSM club, witnessing shocking scenes, one after another. At last, she literally crashes into Terry, spilling a drink all over his bespoke suit. Terry, to his bewilderment, finds himself inexorably drawn to her. This well-written story includes lots of humorous scenes, as well as many steamy hot scenes. I loved it! The story just illustrates that the Universe often has surprises for us that bring us happiness when and where we least expect.
This 3-book set is just brilliant! It’s the story of Maggie who is innocent when it comes to BDSM and Terry who is not innocent in that area. There is a lot of steamy scenes is these books, but they are a lot more than that and have a wonderful emotional story. Both Maggie and Terry have emotional baggage and pain from previous relationships that they have to work through. If this is your first time reading this author, then this is the perfect introduction. There are characters from previous books in these, but you don’t need to have read any previously released books to understand and follow the story-line. These are 3 wonderfully written books that grabbed me from the get-go and I really never wanted the books to end.

I had previously read the first book of this boxset, so was excited to see 1 – 3 together. I was able to follow Maggie’s continued story. Can Terry cause changes for her? Or should I say, will he demand changes? Ms. Day provides a realistic look into a woman’s life who needs some pep added. I enjoyed the realism, and the hot, hot, naughtiness, too! Great entertainment!
This is an amazing boxset! It capture Terry and Maggie’s journey of exploring their relationship. Each book kept on getting better. Like that Terry and Maggie were not in their 20s. Terry and Maggie are wonderful characters that are very well developed. This is a very sexy and kinky read!

With all of Ellis O.Day’s books this was perfection. Terry and Maggie are sublime characters. This is a must read.

This Box Set includes:
1 – His Sub
Ellis O. Day has delivered a powerful scenerio between a strong experienced Dom and a vanilla single mother of three. Relatable? Oh yeah. The storyline kept me glued to the pages with a plot that continues to expand in details the further I read. Terry, aka Sir, and Maggie, his little rabbit, will keep the tingles and butterflies active throughout their entire story. This book ends with a cliffhanger so be prepared to start book two immediately.
2 – His Mission
This is such a relatable story. Maybe not to the extremes Ellis O. Day has laid out, but when you have a single mother of three, who is overweight, out of shape, working a dead end job because she gave up college in exchange for marriage and children and now she’s the one struggling trying to make ends meet while the ex gets to take them on fun adventures. That will play havoc on anyone’s self esteem and confidence. You’ve just met Maggie. Enter Terry. I’m sure each of us know someone like him, in varying degrees. You know the kind. Strong, opinionated, sometimes overbearing, always wants to be in charge and take care of things. And sometimes he lets his battleship mouth overtake his canoe brain when things get out of his control. The story is emotional, funny, heart breaking, and sexy as sin. Thank goodness I have book three waiting while I type this.
3- His Submission
The tension between Terry and Maggie builds both sexually and temperamentally. Seems like they’re never on the same page, one always telling the other to just go and then both of them being miserable. The story built to such a crescendo it had no choice but to explode and when it does, it was heartbreaking and glorious. This was the perfect ending
What a fabulous book; every book seems to get better and better. I found myself racing through the pages and at the same time not wanting it to end. I cried and I laughed and I loved it all. It was great to see all the other characters and get updates on where they are perhaps Ethan will be next? It was also great that Terry and Maggie were not twenty somethings, it gives all of us hope. A wonderful read.
Really enjoy:)
The books were good I just didn’t like that I got sucked into some of her other books which she offered for free at the end BUT only part of the stories were there. You had to pay to finish them. I hate it when they aren’t upfront about things like that and leave you hanging with only part of a story.
I like the story, but the author never quite finishes the story, you have to buy the next bundle.
Hot and steamy but also emotional
This three book set is a great reading experience as it encompasses so much. Maggie is a recently divorced mother of three, all under the age of 10, who is shy, curvy and has been left to raise the kids on her own so she is determined to learn to be independent and never rely on another man again. Terry is a wealthy, sophisticated divorce lawyer, who is also divorced himself, and who is also a Dom. One night Maggie finds herself in a sex club where she catches the eye of Terry, even though she is about as opposite as can get from his usual sub type. But there is something about her that he soon discovers he wants in more ways than one.
The story that is woven through the three books is very intriguing with relatable characters. There are definitely some wonderful D/s scenes but there are also a number of emotional components to the story. Sometimes I wanted to hit Terry because he can be overbearing and boorish but sometimes I wanted to shake Maggie because she was too easily pushed around by her ex and then also will quickly forgive Terry. But they also end up in an interesting battle of the wills as things keep switching back and forth between them. There are also a number of really funny and laugh out loud moments along with grab your box of kleenex moments.
This is the first time I have read anything by this author and I really enjoyed the books and the story of Maggie and Terry. I would recommend this box set.
I received a free ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
