I dove into this book and did as little “real life” as I could until I finished. I love Christmas Town!! The small town feel, the magic, the relationships…it’s an amazing place!
Kurt and Savannah are great characters! They were obviously meant for each other. Kurt knew he had a second chance and he was going to take it! He was so honest and straightforward with Savannah, and I loved it! And when she finally opened up to him, nothing could stand in their way. It was so tender and so sweet. Their story really is magical!
This is the fourth book in the series, but does stand-alone. It’s the first book I’ve read, and I am so anxious to read the others now! I just better wait until real life can be paused without too much disruption. 😉
I received a copy of the book, which I voluntarily reviewed. I have given my honest opinion.
Savannah Livingston is back in Christmas
Town, Tennessee. She is on her holiday
break. Savannah is a high school guidance
counselor in Miami. She has come back to
Christmas Town to create and set up a
theater at the request of her sister.
Kurt Christmas is the town physician. He
has loved Savannah since high school. He
lost her once but is determined to win her
back forever.
Will the magic of the season and Christmas
Town reunite Kurt with Savannah??
A fun story filled with magical and humorous
situations!!!
Two well designed characters with undeniable
chemistry surrounded by a well defined
supporting cast of characters.

The Doctor Orders Christmas (Christmas Town Book 4) by Ginny Baird
This is Kurt Christmas, Christmas Town doctor, and Savannah Livingston’s story.
I love this series. Kurt and Savannah have a history. Their path’s cross again since Savannah is in Christmas Town for a short time. There is definitely chemistry still between them. Will they be able to have a second chance at love or is it too late? Will they be able to ignore the magic of Christmas Town and Hannah’s special cookies?
A fun and sweet story. I really enjoyed the characters and the magic of Christmas Town. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
Kurt Christmas and Savannah Livingston fell in love with each other in high school when their families vacationed together. However, after a fateful summer filled with misunderstandings, their families drifted apart for several years. Now, Savannah is back in Christmas Town and with the blessing of both families, Kurt is determined to win Savannah back. But, each has their secrets. Can they move beyond them and have a future together?
This is a really sweet story. Kurt is totally swoon worthy and his pursuit of Savannah is something to behold. I’m not sure any woman could resist him. I also liked how he went straight to the source to address issues that bothered him. He didn’t allow problems to fester and grow. Savannah has her past pain to overcome, and there’s a lot of mystery that builds to what caused that pain. I loved the tenderness shown when the truth is revealed.
Romance – PG, although there are many passionate kisses and references to past intimacy
Language – PG
Paranormal elements – mild
My rating – 5 stars
