She was always the one.Or so I thought.Turns out my instincts were dead wrong.Years ago I was faced with the choice between two women. Both were perfect in opposite ways. One was carefree and against commitment. The other was a woman you’d bring home to mom. I was young, naïve and stupid. I’m sure you can guess who I chose. Now, I’m older, wiser and know what the hell I want. So, when the same … the hell I want.
So, when the same two women pop back into my life it’s my chance for a do-over. But they flipped the script. Just like me, they want different things now. Leaving me with one choice—convince the woman I want that she wants me too.

I loved this book hard. The Do-Over had everything you could want in a book! Great characters and friendships, witty banter, steamy moments and some rather funny slogans.
I really loved Knox. A cop with a heart of gold and friends that tell him like it is or should be but also back him up. The comradery was triumphant and the way Knox was with a certain someone where he has the opportunity to re do things give us quite the bumpy ride.
Can Knox make this certain woman see that hes over his past and looking toward a future? How can he make her see that she is worth everything?
I finished this book in one sitting and cannot wait for more. This dynamic duo of authors has given us a fantastic, entertaining story. Go 1-click! You won’t be sorry!
The Do-Over ( The Rooftop Crew #5) is Knox’s second chance at love and it’s a captivating story that had me hook, line and sinker before the first chapter was over and there was no putting down until the final word had been read. I was excited for this book and I wasn’t disappointed, as I have come to expect any story written by this talented duo is entertaining and once again they gave me a story and characters to fall in love with.
Decisions made in haste will normally come back to haunt us and we often live with regrets well now Knox gets another chance to win back the woman who stole a piece of his heart but will she be prepared to give him another go…..their journey to happiness is a bumpy one and there are a fair few twists and turns along the way but right from the start you know these soulmates are meant to be together so now is the time to trust and take that leap of faith knowing he will be there to catch you.
This book ticked all my boxes, I smiled, I swooned and I found my invested in this couples journey. A entertaining read that I highly recommend and I can’t wait for the next instalment in this series.
Knox is everything and more!! Lana~White Hot Reads
I have been waiting for Knox’s story since this series started. I’ve always wondered about the hot, sexy cop. He’s one of the good one. He has a heart of gold and isn’t afraid to show it. There is a twist I did not see coming with the heroine of the story but I really liked her alot more than the other one. SO far this has been my favorite couple in the series.
The Do-Over is book five in The rooftop Crew is a great addition to this fun series. If you love a second chance romance story than grab this book! You will not be disappointed. It ticks off all the boxes for me. It is the perfect combination of great writing, memorable characters and a storyline that has those feel good moments that I love combined with some angst to keep things interesting.
Knox and Kamea are both characters that are easy to like. They will frustrate you at times but they are a perfect match for each other once they work their way through the obstacles that have been thrown in their way.

This is the fifth is the Rooftop Crew series that centers around the lives and loves of a groups of twenty-somethings (think friends, but upstate New York instead of Manhattan). Knox met two women several years ago, one was wild, the other was the kind you take home to mom. Of course, being young and coming off a bad relationship, crazy beats nice. Now both women are back in his life and which one will he choose? I love this series overall, I just wish this book were a little longer to build a more believable declaration of undying love. While this can be read as a stand-alone, reading the prior books will give you a better understanding of Knox and the decision he makes. I received an arc of this book from the author for my honest review.
The fifth book in The Rooftop Crew series by Piper Rayne, The Do-Over is a second chance romance that is well written packed with angst, drama, twists and turns, LOL moments, great characters, and plenty of steam.
I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
While this is a second chance romance it worked it’s a little differently than I expected and I’m so glad it did. I loved the Fact that I was surprised by how things ended up working out so that so this book going to hard to review but I don’t want to give a anything away.
Throughout the series we have had little snippets from Knox. While he is great friends with the rest of the rooftop crew, his on again, off again relationship with Leilani definitely took over his life, that is until she disappeared. If you read Seth’s book you know she is back and that Knox had to arrest her and this is definitely where Knox’s second chance, or should we say do over begins.
Such a great book and awesome addition to the series. I am so ready for Jax and Frankie.
Officer Knox is an amazing character that is full of life, works hard, has been hung up on the same chick for years, Leilani. Leilani is the kind of girl that is carefree, what you see is what you get, but a master manipulator. I knew automatically that she would not be my favorite and I was glad to see the author’s found the perfect person to come into Knox’s life. This person was a breath of fresh air after the back and forth Leilani put Knox through. I was happy to see other characters from this group and I was so ecstatic that Knox finally found someone that genuinely wanted him for him. The road for these two were not an easy one but it was fun watching them banter and come closer and closer, but will the past and the one person that is toxic for them both always be standing in the way waiting to destroy them? Or Can they fight for what they want?
I’ve been looking forward to Knox’s book for quite some time and what I always love about Piper Rayne is that we don’t always get what we expect and that’s great because it’s always better than what was expected!
Knox is a cop who follows the rules to the letter, even the rules he’s set out for himself. He hasn’t had the best luck in the love department and when his ex-girlfriend Leilani left him, he was absolutely crushed. Now that she’s come back into his life, she’s also brought the one person that he let get away years ago, Kamea. The question is, should he have made a different decision years earlier?
These two women couldn’t be more different. Leilani is reckless, impulsive and manipulative, whereas Kamea is sweet, caring and driven. Will Knox be able to see that one of these women is perfect for him while the other needs to be put in the rearview mirror? Will he get the do-over he is looking for?
This book was such a surprise for me. I loved that there was an edge throughout this entire book as you tried to figure out exactly how things were going to pan out. The whole Rooftop Crew is along for the ride to provide some laugh out loud moments, along with some levity that Knox sorely needed. I’m so glad this one went the way it did, but I’d be lying if I didn’t admit to really looking forward to Jax’s book!

5 Star Review The Do-Over (The Rooftop Crew #5) by Piper Rayne
From the first to the last chapter, I was hooked on the story that these authors wove, totally invested in Knox’s second chance at love story; one I feel like I have been waiting forever to read. As I have come to expect from a book written by Piper Rayne The Do-Over was an entertaining read.
Sometimes a decision is made or a choice a person makes turns out to be a mistake? What happens when fate gives you the opportunity to face up to it and make changes in your life? That is the position that Knox is in and this time he is determined to chose wisely.
Can Knox convince the woman he loves, the one he knows in his heart that she is his soul mate to take a leap of faith? Their road to happiness is filled with twists and turns and is bumpy, but if they can get there, the future will be amazing.
There were plenty of fun, some laugh out loud moments, some angst but it was well worth it in the end. As always it was great to see some familiar faces pop up whilst reading and I am l looking forward to Jax’s story.
Rayne tackles some seriously hard truths without ever losing her sense of humor. The Do Over is a life lesson. Knox and Kamea have much to learn when it comes to the heart. They lead with the best of intentions, but happen to put their trust in the wrong person. Delightfully enlightening packs some sage advice along while serving up a bit of romance.
