This is THAT book which have literally everything. Romance, twists and a real page turner. Loved it
The Divergent series plays with your hearts’ strings and you can’t take your eyes off of it. Tears, hatred and laughter bubbles out of you unexpectantly and you can’t stop it!
I usually don’t like series books, but I have to admit I enjoyed The Divergent series. It was easy reading, and fun to get into. I know a lot if people didn’t like the ending but I did. I thought it was real. I recommend it to my struggling readers, and of course to my readers in general.
This series is so many things. All in all, Roth has created characters that transcend her dystopian society. As our eyes flit across the page, we become Beatrice and meld into her world. We feel for her, her fellow initiates and citizens. Each installment is a great addition to her adventure.
This was a great series. Different than Hunger Games, but a strange world none-the-less.
Loved this series. I was very sad when it was over
Of the dystopian world with a strong teenage girl protagonist trend, this is by far the best. Well written and believable characters.
There are similarities to The Hunger Games but this series stands entirely on its own. I loved it and I’m glad I read it even if the ending still makes me tear up.
Was hoping for a better ending. The movies did not do the books justice.
I loved the books. However the final book was very disappointing.
In a world where there are only 5 factions, where do fit in? The main character does not fit into the typical mold of any of these factions. Triss learns so much about herself and others through this series of books. She will learn who she can trust and who she can’t. Action packed from the very beginning.
Loved it until the last chapter of final book which has made me question if I would ever read another book by this author
