I killed a girl last night.
I did it with my bare hands and an old piece of pipe I found lying next to the dumpster. But that’s not the part that got me. The part that scared me, the part I can’t seem to wrap my head around and still has me reeling, was that when she charged me, her body shifted — and then she was a wolf. All snapping teeth and extended claws.
But by the time I stood over … time I stood over her lifeless body, she was a girl again.
That’s about the time I went into shock … And that was the moment he showed up.
Now, all I can do is accept the truths that are staring me in the face. One, Werewolves do exist. And two, I was born to kill them.

Wow this series is addicting!! Lucky for me i received this boxset in audio format so i could listen to it almost non stop cause i couldn’t put it down and had to know what happened next. This was such a good read. This series is well written and flows flawlessly from one book to the next.
I received a free copy of the audiobook and i am leaving an honest and volontarily review for Kindle and audio formats.
This was a great series that I could not put down once I started ! I loved the characters, the twists and turns and friendships throughout. Tara and Wes were an awesome couple and I loved reading about their challenges and building relationship. A must read !
Definitely a series to get into that will keep you intrigued and turning the pages. A unigue take on a genre that has become one of my faves.
Loved , Loved, Loved books 1-4 . The concept of this book is what pulls the reader in . Heather Hildenbrand takes the paranormal world and flips it. You have all kinds of thing in this book that pulls you in . YOU have forbidden romance, werewolves, hybrids, hunters and a love triangle of sorts. You really can not go wrong with this series. I am looking forward to the ending . I would recommend reading when you have plenty of time because you are not going to want to stop until you finished.
I got the first book in this series some time ago and read it knowing I’d come back to the series at some point. When it was offered as a set, I snatched it up and couldn’t wait to sink my teeth into it. It was exciting, surprising and imaginative. It follows a teenage girl who discovers she has two sets of DNA within her, Hunter and Werewolf, and when that discovery begins with killing a werewolf and being rescued by a smoldering man who is much more than he seems, the adventure takes a turn in unexpected directions and through sometimes heartbreaking situations. As we move through the story, we watch her grow toward the being she was meant to be, but each decision takes her closer and sometimes through dangers she never realized were out there in her world while bringing her closer to the people around her. She discovers unlikely friendships, love, and betrayal, all the while pushing forward to find her place in the new society.
I couldn’t help but admire Tara’s strength and fortitude in the face of adversity. But there were times I wanted to shake her along with those around her and make them wake up to the dangers and possibilities around them. There were sweet moments along with the heartbreaking, and I found myself soaking all of it in the more I read. It was such an exciting story, and I couldn’t wait to read the next page, so much so that I spent several sleepless nights with my nose in the books. The author has a marvelous imagination and a special talent for painting a scene and pulling us into it. I look forward to finding out how the story ends and wishing I could read it all over again.
The series started off great…the main character is strong but by the fourth book I expected some growth in maturity. I wanted to slap her a few times. Not the best series but a pretty good one filled with action and of course love interest in PG rating.
