Love period fiction about the WWII era. I had previously read “The Kommandant’s Girl and liked it so much, I purchased this one, which I very much enjoyed too. I am now reading The Ambassador’s Daughter by Pam Jenoff and it is good but, not my favorite
Last of this series. I liked how this story tied together and finished the series. I appreciate all her books.
I enjoyed the book but the situations and their outcomes were very far fetched.
I loved this book!
A great read.
This is very powerful story begins as World War II comes to and end; however, another conflict is just beginning.
A suspenseful read of determination, betrayal, double agents, enduring love and long lasting friendships.
I can’t believe this well written book has been nestled in my Kindle for so long, and I cannot recommend it highly enough.
Set in post-war Europe amid the spread of communism and the Iron Curtain, The Diplomat’s Wife is a story of love and deception, secrets and lies, and most of all, courage. I figured out one of the plot twists but did not see the second one coming, and am pretty sure my mouth dropped open. 🙂 Zoomed through this one in a day.
This is the second book I’ve read by Pam Jenoff, and I will reading more! While I mostly read thrillers, I found The Diplomat’s Wife and The Lost Girls of Paris to be captivating, set with the intense backdrop of World War II.
Moving, enthralling, and intense!
The Diplomat’s Wife is the thrilling, absorbing sequel to The Kommandant’s Girl set at the end of WWII that takes you into the life of Marta Nederman, a Polish resistance fighter who after being liberated from Dachau meets a handsome American soldier, travels to London on a borrowed visa, marries a British …

This book really caught me off guard a few times, I really enjoyed it!
Good story, Wwii. , spy story in unexpected ways.
Least favorite of this author’s books for me. Not as realistic as her other books.
Awesome
Wonderful suspense and entertaining plot with unexpected twists.
This was my favorite read out of the last 20 books read. I gives us a peek into the lives of the Holocaust survivors and others who suffered at the hands of the Nazis and then with no homes to return to. Quite moving.
Good read
Interesting characters, unexpected plot twists.
Informative history! With some unexpected twists in order to keep the reader on her toes. Great plot, too, for all ages. I recommend itT
