A mysterious woven metal artifact is found at a paleontological dig in Africa. Mystified experts, confounded by the impossible timeline they receive from traditional dating methods, call upon a stubborn twenty-something with a unique talent. Matthew Turner’s gift is also his curse: whenever he touches an object, his consciousness is flooded with the thoughts and feelings of those who touched it … it before him, be it last week or centuries ago. It’s a talent that many covet, some fear, and almost no one understands.
Despite being exploited as a child and tormented by the unpleasant experiences imprinted on him from the various items he’s “read,” Matt agrees to travel from New York to the forests of Kenya. There, threatened by unknown enemies, and helped by a beautiful but prickly ally who begins to understand his strange ability, his mind journeys back in geological time to make a discovery so shocking that it forces us to rewrite all human history.

I was compelled to finish this book, which argues for Michael Siemsen’s storytelling ability.
If you like archeology and history this is the story for you. Clever and informative. Well written with interesting characters both past and present
Very interesting, good characters. A little bit of everything.
Very enjoyable story. Original premise and good characters and story line.
This is a great book. Sc-fi with archeology, right up my alley!
Excellent book, good story and outstanding character development.
The plot is well presented and there is little to predict the ending.

Kept me on my toes
Enjoyed the whole series.
I was attracted to this book because it had mentioned pyschometry. I had seen psychometry in action an was intrigued to see what the author would have his character do with the skill!
It was not what I expected, the plot was surprising but riveting! I thoroughly enjoyed this thought provoking book! Really recommend this amazing book with …
I thought it was an unusual story. I was not sure where it would go and for that reason I gave it a high mark. It is not a hard read.
I’m not usually into ‘back to the past’ time travel stuff. This was different and a fun read! I recommend it!
Well crafted
Sometimes you find a book that is so different. Not just it’s story content but how it is told. You want to let everyone know how much you loved it. This is not just one story but two that are a part of each other and they blend so well you are more than entertained. Read it you’ll love it.
Hero has a very special power that allows for intertwining several imaginative stories. Fun read.
