A good read in the action/adventure genre. Not the most original work in the world but still an entertaining read if you’re a fan of this type of fiction.
Ancient artifacts, fascinating locations, a great mystery
THE DIG appealed to me with its focus on archeology, fascinating look into the illegal trade in Pre-Columbian artifacts, and immersive descriptions of Guadalajara.
My only issue was being able to identify the murderer way too early. Otherwise, a great read.
Good Read!
Good . Engaging. MKes you want to look for a sequel or the series.
Good book, but nothing extraordinary
enjoyed will read more from the author
The story had potential and it had its moments, but the characters were too underdeveloped for this to be a stand alone book. It might have been better if I had read the earlier books in the series.
A great read even though I had guessed the killer with the unusual things that the killer did.
Kept me guessing throughout the book. Intriguing and engrossing.
This book was flat. There was no tension and all of the characters were one dimensional. This was like reading the comic book version of the novel.
This book was okay, but the story line isn’t as involved as I like.
What a great read! This book was filled to the brim with mystery and action from start to finish!
A somewhat predictable quick read
not easily readable
This was also a first read by this author. Nothing stood out for me.
I fell asleep while reading and must have turned a bunch of pages, right to the last chapter where the murder was solved and that was fine by me.
Stiff dialog, undeveloped characters, no real excitement. The ending, and the culpret, are snatched from nowhere
Good detective story
A plot that was going nowhere at a very slow pace, flat bland characters and typo, grammar and syntax errors galore. I couldn’t finish it!
Yawn!
