Too many cliched phrases and grammatical errors. Plot revelations nearly half-way through the book made it bearable.
Well written with an unexpected ending. Few typos (not always the case with ebooks).
Couldn’t put it down. Unbelieveable ending.
Excellent
Book was difficult to follow from the start. Jumped around and was confusing. Hard read.
At first I thought it was going to bore me… then I just motored through the book. I really enjoyed the story and found it entertaining. Not as much development as I would like, but it is in the form of a diary so that makes sense. Romantic, easy to read, happy ending. Perfect for a lazy vacation!
Writing is not that great but it has a twist. Leaves gaps in the story.
Strange but true
It started out somewhat interesting, but soon became predictable.
It was a good read. Kept my interest up.
What a great read!
As a person that reads a lot and watches a lot of movies, I am not easily surprised. But this summer I read a few extremely good unpredictable books. I am going to review them all. The Diary is one of them. I don’t even want to reveal any of the plot – just start reading it, go through the first pages (they didn’t grab me) and read through – it gets better and better until the last page. Enjoy!
Its a quick read for a flight or road trip.
Big twist made this an exciting story!
very good read – page turner
depressing
I couldnt sleep until I had read the last page!
Enjoyed reading this book.
In general, I enjoyed this book because the premise sounded very interesting. However, I found that at times I had to skip pages because the repetitions were quite annoying. The author just couldn’t get to the point and constantly repeated her thoughts within the paragraphs. Once a thought was expressed , there was no need to continue saying the same thing over and over again. At one point, I actually skipped several chapters just to get to a place where I was able to advance in the storyline. I hate authors who use page-filler methods. Just say what you have to say and get on with it. Truthfully, I couldn’t wait to finish this book already and for the above reasons, I am not sure if I will read any other books by this author.
On a more positive note, the story was very interesting and kept me wanting to see what further surprises the author had in store for me. I am usually drawn to stories that have amnesia victims and this one did not disappoint. The character development was strong and interesting.
This was a really good read. I will look for more books from this author.
