A fun and entertaining cozy mystery. Another great story from Wendy Meadows and you won’t be disappointed one bit. It’s enjoyable, has the right amount of mystery, suspense and a bit of humor thrown in as well. Well written story line and great characters.

Supercalifragilsticexpialidocious!
Wendy has written another supercalifragilsticexpialidocious story (damn I like that word). Now this time Hillary is asked to help is this for real? Like all good mystery, this one will keep you guessing till the very end. I find mysteries that leave me confused in some parts the best reads I really do not want to know the mystery till the end. I enjoyed the book love Spot! I liked the book. I did receive a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.
Hillary hasn’t lived in the town of Rosemary Harbor for very long and wanting to get to meet new people, she has signed up for a few clubs. None of them panned out except for book club, which is more gossip/social club than anything. She hasn’t been able to attend any of their retreats until now, but may soon regret that decision. Having arrived at a horse ranch, she soon finds out a deadly accident has occurred to the owner (Janet) who also happens to be a member of the book club. Hillary soon discovers that there are hidden secrets between the deceased and most of the book club members, leaving everyone a suspect to a murder. Hillary is a bit of an amateur sleuth and this time around she is asked by police chief Preston to help him with the case.
This is a cozy mystery filled with whimsy characters, a great storyline, mystery, adventure, and lots of twists and turns. Just when you (and Hillary) think you know whodunit, things change at the drop of a hat and a better suspect appears.

This series is proving to be as good as the others from Wendy Meadows. Hillary unwittingly walks into the middle if a murder investigation. This time instead of pushing her away Preston actually asks for her help. The outcome of the investigation is very unexpected.

A very nice four-hour mystery in the style of Agatha Christie. Hard to say much more without risking a spoiler.

Great addition to the series. Just a bit different from others. She has to a friend, listen to all and the drama as Rose said, and solve the mystery. For once she comes in after the murder and it is known, but her assistance is asked for.
Now if you have not read the other books in the series. You might get a little lost for my review. In case you have read the other reviews. This book title does have references to the book. It is mentioned in a previous book.
When I started this book, I had a feeling of déjà vu. It took me a chapter or two to remember why and the reference to the title. Actually, at one point I check the other books to clarify my déjà vu feeling. It did help when it was mentioned and I remembered why. As a a result I knew who did it and why when the time came.
It was a fun fast easy read. Read in one day. Just the break I need from a serious book that I just read. You can probably read it as a stand alone, but definitely go back and read the others so you understand why.
This is my honest and freely given review. I did receive an ARC book.
Hillary has joined the local book club and can’t wait to attend the group’s weekend getaway. But when she arrives, Police Chief Preston Davis, informs her there’s been a murder and this time surprisingly asks for her assistance in questioning the ladies about the victim, Janet Hines.
As Hillary talks with the other members of the book club, it seems that all of them had some type of problem with the victim. Fortunately, Hillary’s keen observance of the crime scene and analysis of what she learned is able to guide Chief Davis to a suspect before someone else is killed. Who did they suspect?
I love cozy mysteries like this one! A quick but fun read as the reader races alongside Hillary to discover the evil-doer! Grab your copy and see if you can figure it all out before Hillary and Chief Davis!
Hillary has joined has book club and agrees to go to their getaway. When she arrives, Police Chief Preston, who ruffles her feathers, informs her there’s been a murder. Hillary isn’t really a part of the drama, but if she listens closely, she may discover a clue. The Diamond Hunt has twists and surprises that kept me guessing and I recommend it.

As always, a very well done cozy mystery by the author. I got so caught up in trying to figure out who the murderer was, I forgot about the title! The twists and turns were unpredictable and what I like most about the genre and especially this author. Highly recommend.

I have really enjoyed this series so far, but this book I struggled to get into. Some parts seemed to drag, while others seemed rushed. The title of the book did not make sense until the last 20 percent of the book and really didn’t play a huge part into the story. It almost seemed to have been thrown in as an after thought.
This book can be read as a stand alone. Written as a 3rd person, single pov. No HEA or HFN, just a solved mystery, lots of ladies bickering, and confusion.
Would I recommend this book? For the right person, yes.
Would I read more from this author? Yes (because I have loved other books, and will not let this one stop me
