From New York Times bestselling authors Catherine Coulter and J.T. Ellison comes the highly anticipated thriller in their Brit in the FBI series, featuring special agents Nicholas Drummond and Michaela Caine in their new roles as heads of the Covert Eyes team—but will their first case be their last when the Fox, the enigmatic and dangerous thief, reappears?“He who controls the weather, will … the weather, will control the world. He who controls time, will never be around.” —Thomas Frey
FBI Special Agents Nicholas Drummond and Michaela Caine are the government’s Covert Eyes—leading a top-notch handpicked team of agents to tackle crimes and criminals both international and deadly. But their first case threatens their fledgling team when the Fox calls from Venice asking for help.
Kitsune has stolen an incredible artifact from the Topkapi Museum in Istanbul, and now the client wants her dead. She has a warning for Nick and Mike: she’s overheard talk that a devastating Gobi desert sandstorm that’s killed thousands in Beijing isn’t a natural phenomenon, rather is produced by man. The Covert Eyes team heads to Venice, Italy, to find out the truth.
From New York to Venice and from Rome to the Bermuda Triangle, Nicholas and Mike and their team are in a race against time, and nature herself, to stop an obsessed family from devastating Washington, DC.

Terrific romp with these very entertaining characters we’ve come to love hanging out with. You will not be bored. Ellison and Coulter pull out all the stops with this one! Terrific weekend read.
Get ready for another action packed exciting book in the A Brit in the FBI thriller series. The duo of Catherine Coulter and J.T. Ellison have another hit on their hands with the twist and turns we have come to expect from this series. Nicholas Drummond is once more the action hero of this series along with FBI Special Agent Michaela Caine as they rush to save the world, yes the world once again. The action moves internationally without skipping a beat. This time the duo and the team are out to stop the twins of the Kohath family from wreaking havoc on the world. The twins are seeking the Ark of Covenant that was lost along with their mother during a storm on an archaeological dig. Meanwhile their grandfather holds the secret to controlling the weather and in doing so they feel they can control the world. A wonderful romp full of surprises spiralling to a great climax.
Very exciting to read
I have not read any Catherine Coulter for quite some time as I was exploring new authors. By page two she had me completely under her spell! Loved this book! The plot, though futuristic, was compelling. The characters were all believable and well fleshed-out. Again. Loved this book. I need to go back to catch up on books I have missed.
Great addition to the A Brit in the FBI series. FBI Special Agents Nicholas Drummond and Michaela Caine get their first case as the newly minted Covert Eyes team when master thief Kitsune reaches out to them in need of help. Nicholas and Mike and their handpicked team head to Venice for this action-packed thriller. Great read in a great series.
I absolutely love Catherine Coulter’s series A Brit in the FBI. The background in these books is astounding! Can we say lots of research? I love the connection to her FBI series too. My two favorite series!
Couldn’t put it down!!

This book had me on the edge of my seat from the first page. I had a hard time putting it down until I had finished it. It was an awesome read!
Excellent writing, and a great story
I love the new Brit in the FBI series. Each book gets better & better!
A fun read for a winter day.
Loved this book from start to finish.
Catherine Coulter’s character are always great and she continues to excel.
A bit too sci-fi for me. It was a very good read but not real life believable.
I love Catherine Coulter. Have read nearly all her books.
lots of action, but same old save the world theme, blah
I will read any of her books, oh & have… A few miss the 5 star mark, but not often. Keep her older works in context to how books were written at the time & call it good, because they are well done considering editorial constraints. She’s a keeper…like speed dial on your phone but for her books instead. Enjoy!
