Psychopath/ˈsʌɪkəpaθ/nounA person suffering from chronic mental disorder with abnormal or violent social behaviour.synonyms: madman/madwoman, mad person, deranged person, maniac, lunatic, psychotic, sociopath- informalan unstable and aggressive person.- informal/2F R O S TEllaSince I was a little girl, I have been surrounded by hate, death, murder, and slavery. I’ve been guarded my whole life by … surrounded by hate, death, murder, and slavery. I’ve been guarded my whole life by my brother—Raze, the kingpin of the underworld and the most feared individual in the United States of America. And then further more guarded when I found out the president of The Devil’s Own MC was my long lost half-brother. Being tossed around from one extreme protection to another has left a part of me yearning to break out of it’s cage. The part that I’ve tried to sugar coat and hide, because if she’s unleashed, everyone would see just how much like my brothers I am.
Panting, wanting, needing to unleash the side of me I’ve always known was there.
My secret is mine and my brothers.
Only they know what I hide and why I hide it. How I fight for love because if I don’t, my rage would win and I’d be a mere shadow of the girl people have grown to know.
But I broke.
And the man who held the hammer that shattered the walls I spent years building to cage in my rage—was a psychopath.

Love doesn’t save anyone in this story….rage does’……
What a way to start off! I’ve not kept it a secret that Frost touched my black heart in this series a few books ago so I wanted to read more, more of what made him tick and more of what he was capable of.
Well I’ve finished and my mind is reeling and I feel worn out! What the heck is going on? Yes I wanted hot, hot, hot but I now need to know more! Not more about Frost and Ella but some revelations that were revealed!
Talking of hot, hot hot. Read chapter 13! Actually first, grab a towel and then read!
delicious /dɪˈlɪʃəs/
Middle English (also in the sense ‘characterized by sensuous indulgence’): via Old French from late Latin deliciosus, from Latin deliciae (plural) ‘delight, pleasure’.
Frost is just delish. He is everything I wanted him to be and more.
The end.
If you’ve ever wanted to delve into the mind of a coldhearted psycho biker than this is the book for you. Right away you can feel Frost’s dangerous aura. How can you even do that when he’s not a real person! That’s how good this book was. It’s a whirlwind of constant mindfuckery, angst, lust & psycho love. It’s a match made in hell to be honest. And I wouldn’t have it any other way. Amo Jones continues to show parts of her dark soul in her books and somehow makes it relatable to everyone reading it.
The story line was great, the character work was fantastic and the book had a fairly smooth flow to it. I had some serious issues with this book. There were spelling and grammatical errors. There were, once again, timing issues. There were so many errors with the characters that it was ridiculous. In Razing Grace 1 when Frost and Ella see each other for the first time Ella has one brown eye and one blue-green eye; one to match each brothers (Beast and Raze) eyes. In this book she suddenly has one blue and one hazel. In Razing Grace 2 “The Operations” was known as “The Syndicate”. In Razing Grace 2 the human lie detector was Angel and not Miles. When Ella just finishes telling Melissa that Raze told her that Hella left her, she immediately turned to Beast and demanded to know why he would tell her that. Either Melissa wasn’t paying attention or the author, editors and beta readers were not paying attention. In One Hundred and Thirty-Six Scars in the dream (or whatever that was) Meadow and Beast had named their daughter Israel, but in this book her name is Ivy, which I suppose is okay since that was some sort of dream sequence, but generally a person will tend to stick with that name and not change it. Also, The Devil’s Own do not have a chapter in Westbeach. That is an ally club The Sinful Souls. The Sinful Souls were the original stories and The Devil’s Own were a spin off from that series. It would be nice to see some consistency. If your editor is not catching the numerous errors then it may be time to find a new one. There is nothing more annoying when an author cannot or will not keep track of their own characters.
Love, love, love Frost and Ella and their craziness! I totally didn’t see her personality coming and loved it! Great read!
Damn, this woman and her books! She continues to drive me crazy with her stories in a way that no one else managed so far. I have not found anyone else writing books the way Amo Jones does. Maybe it’s not everyone’s cup of tea because her books are so very different and doesn’t fit in any particular box. But this is one of the reasons why they are so amazing – they are unique, unpredictable and almost otherworldly (without being paranormal).
Her books are also one of the hardest to write reviews for because I don’t want to give the story away which leaves me with nothing much to say about the book.
I loved all her books that I’ve read so far, though this is definitely one of her absolute best! This series is amazing and I can’t wait to get more of all the characters! I love how we get a mix of new couples but also enough of our beloved characters in each book because we don’t have to say final goodbyes at the end, as we hope to see them again in the next book. This crazy family may be lethal and so very scary but they do have tons of good feelings too.
This story was a mix of dark, twisted, sexy, suspense and also deeply touching stuff. I went from swooning to yelling and fanning myself because of the scorching hot and very intense scenes, to almost throwing my kindle against the wall.
Raze and Frost are my favorite male characters and finally I found a badass female character which I absolutely love -> Ella. Wow! She’s the whole package and probably the only one who could handle Frost. They couldn’t have been more perfect for each other. I loved how she was all innocent looking and that people underestimated her but she could not only hold herself during a one on one fight but also needed no hero to save herself from any other tricky situation. She was fearless and I never would have pegged her that way during the other books. She totally fooled me too.
There might have been a time or two when I wanted to strangle Frost. Just saying. He may not be the typical perfect husband material, but the kind of asshole alpha and badass biker he was made him definitely perfect in this effed up world and I loved him! You gotta love him too.
Well, the series should best be read in order because of everything that’s going on in this universe (and believe me that you want to read at least Raze’s books!) but if you really just want to read this book, I guess you can do that and still enjoy Ella’s and Frost’s story but there might be a few background things that will raise question marks.
If you are a rebel and don’t like to go the scenic mainstream route, then this is your book. Your world will be turned upside down and once you dipped into the realm of Amo Jones, you will not be able to walk away unscarred.
Action packed… Intense… Thrilling… Everything you have come to expect from Amo Jones. It took me a little while to remember what had happened it previous book; remembering who all the characters were and their backstory but once I did it all came flooding back to me like a tsunami. The author does an excellent job of adding flashbacks as well. I’ve been excited for this book for a long time. Frost was a character that both amused and intrigued me and I couldn’t wait for him to have his time and tell his story.
Frost was everything I had pictured him to be and more; he was a formidable character and one that has won a place in my heart. The tension between Frost and Ella was palpable and electric. Although Frost is portrayed as a psychopath one without feelings or remorse you could see and feel this start to change as he became drawn towards Ella. By the end of this book the change in this character was evident as we get to see a more human side, one with feelings. Typical Amo, while there weren’t any great surprises in this book she has dropped quite a few crumbs and typically left me with another ton of questions!! There is definitely no second guessing this author!
The story continues on the timeline from where Razing Grace left us. It was great to catch up with all the other characters as well. Told from a dual POV the story races along like a train on a track dragging its reader with it and not letting up until the very last page. I don’t think I stopped to take a breath the whole time I was reading. The book is dark, blood thirsty, gruesome and grizzly. Definitely not for the faint hearted… But if you’ve read Amo before you will no what to expect from the Queen of dark and twisted!
~ 4.5 Deliciously Dark Stars ~
I’ve been in love with this series from the beginning. I start each book with anticipation of what we are about to get and get the same feeling when it’s over and I know there is more to come. So, with that being said, if you haven’t read this series, start from the beginning. While there is some back story in this one where you could probably get away with out reading the others, I promise you, you’ll be missing out. I strongly encourage you to at least start with Razing Grace Part 1.
Going into The Devil’s Match, it was clear that Frost is a psychopath. What was not clear was just how dark and equally matched Ella was. Sure, the title sort of gives it away. I’ll be honest and say I didn’t fully feel what Ella was capable of until close to the end but once I did, whew. I liked it enough that I had to question my own sanity because surely no one in their right state of mind would enjoy something so dark and twisted. Yet, here I was. I think this might have been one of the more violet and gory books in the series and I loved it all.
Frost and Ella’s relationship is dangerous, violate and frankly, terrifying but they work. I like that there wasn’t some “light” or something like that that spoke to Frost about Ella and that’s why he was sucked it. They are both consumed in darkness and the are perfect for each other.
The ONLY reason why I didn’t rate the full 5 starts is because it took longer than normal to feel connected to Frost and Ella together. I wanted to feel that burn from the start but it took me a while.
The Devil’s Match is a captivating raw and gritty dark romance that will make you question your own morals because of how attached you become to some very dark personalities. If you are looking for something dark and dirty, this is the book for you. Make sure you are prepared!
” He stares at me for a beat too long, and then walks out, leaving me breathless, slightly agitated, sexually frustrated, a little on edge, confused, but above all, a little in love.”
Lord almighty I missed these characters!! There’s no secret that Raze, Millie, and absolutely Miles have a place in my top characters of all time, and now Frost and Ella are there too. Always a blast to read, never a dull moment, I fell head over heels for them! Twisted insanity, hypnotic psychosis, and hysterical tension…hooked from the very first word! I will never get enough of this crew, EVER. The end scene witnessing Ella unleash her crazy made me grin like a lunatic and I never tire of Amo’s work, so I will sit and salivate for more. I thank the Author for providing a copy to review!
“I look between his eyes, the same eyes I feared for most of the time I knew him, and now, they’re the very eyes that give me comfort. They’re the very eyes that are the windows of my future.”

I have waited a while for Frost’s story and it is so worth the wait.
What a book it is I feel like I have been on a rollercoaster ride the ups and downs the feelings throughout this book have put me through. It is very antsy!!!
This book is so consuming from the start Amo has you sucked in with her words and these characters.
This book follows on the story from previous books… if you have not read them then give them a go you will not be disappointed.
Amo really delivers with this story… I have to say I loved Ella I might just have a girl crush on her she is sassy and such a strong character. I loved her banter too.
Frost annoyed me at times but I have to say I like him the way he was with a certain someone… I love Frost and Ella apart they are a force to be reckoned with but together they are explosive.
I loved the story the plot I just loved everything about this book.
I can’t wait to see what Amo has for us next . Each book just gets better and better I don’t know how Amo does it.
OMGosh how does one really go on after reading a Amo Jones novel? I was amazed and by other words I didn’t have any, my mind was a complete blank after reading this story I was 100% in total awe of this story. I loved Frost and Ella they were so made for each other and the more the story went on the more you could so tell that they were/are made for each other in every way possible. Each page had me biting my nails and sitting on the edge of my seat in wonder of what was going to come next. I personally found this story really hard to put down just from the events that each character went through and the story itself was amazing. I so recommend everyone reading this story, I would start with book one so your not lost with some of the characters otherwise hold on and dive in. This is a real tear-jerker, action packed, steamy, scary and all of the above you can think of packed into one great story, each page is something new and shocking. Emotions are deff all over the place, you’ll love it from start to end and then crave more once your done.
***I received this ARC in exchange for my honest thoughts, I was not told in any way what to write this is all me, myself and I***
I feel like I’ve been waiting forever for Frosts book (i haven’t but it felt like it) and boy was it worth it.
Frost intrigued me from the very first mention of him in a previous book and I was dying to get to know the real Frost. I LOVE Frost so much. He’s everything I love in a fictional man. He’s hot, scary, unpredictable, a psychopath and he’s definitely met his match with Ella.
Frost has always been a bit of an enigma. He absolutely fascinates me. He’s got that dark, broody, intense vibe going on that I can’t get enough of and I don’t know how Amo Jones did it, but she managed to make me love him even more by the time I’d finished this book.
Ella was a complete surprise for me. I struggle with female characters quite a bit and it’s very rare one wins me over as quick as Ella did. From the start I found her very easy to like and as I got to know her character better, that like soon turned in to a full on girlie crush. There are no words to describe Ella. She’s everything.
This book has everything any Amo Jones fan wants from her books. The story had me hooked, the characters will make you love them (especially Ella) and there’s a perfect balance of action, angst and hotness. If you’ve read her previous books then you kind of know what you’re getting into. If she’s a new to you author, I honestly can’t recommend her books enough. Each book is better than the last and each one leaves you desperate for more and The Devils Match is no exception.
