Sometimes we must let go of what was, appreciate what remains and fearlessly embrace what comes next.“Bas”Born to a family of outlaws, I was destined to ride with the Satan’s Knights MC. With mayhem and havoc in my blood and chaos living deep in my soul, I learned the Devil don’t sleep. You never hear him creeping and he often comes disguised as everything you ever wanted.I was just teenager when … was just teenager when he first showed, masquerading as the girl of my dreams. A whiskey shootin’ spitfire who knocked me on my ass and helped me turn the town upside down. The girl who stole my heart with her smile and never gave it back. The same bitch who ruined me and turned my blood to ice.
It’s been six years since I turned my back on Mac, my family and my club. I’ve pushed her to the back of my head, wrote everyone off and damned the Kentucky charter to hell. But, where God built a church, the Devil built a chapel.
Now, her life is on the line and its clear I’m still a sucker for her gorgeous chaos because I’m the one riding to her rescue.
“Mac”
I often dreamed what it would be like to stare into Bas’s blue eyes again. To hear his raspy voice whisper his love for me and feel his strong arms around me. After all, it’s always been in his embrace that I felt the safest.
In my dreams, he abolishes my sins and forgives me for breaking both our hearts.
But this is no dream.
I’m running from a nightmare and the one running with me, looks at me with enough anger to burn the world to ash.
Once upon a time, we were in love.
Once upon a time, it was us against the world.
Once upon a time, he didn’t look at me and see the Devil.
If only he knew the truth.
If only he knew the Devil was a broken angel with tattered wings.
An angel who sacrificed her heart and soul for him.

We finally have the complicated, emotionally charged story of Bas and Mac. Bas became Property of Parrish later in the series and has stayed mostly on the outside of the club, until now. We find him needing to return home to his roots, discovering not only the reasons he doesn’t seem to get too close to his brothers, but also why no woman has been able to capture his heart. The story of Bas and Mac is given to us through flashbacks, we find out how it all began, and it was sweet and beautiful….then we find out how it changed. Their story is full of love, and heartache, misunderstandings and pain….but Mac needs Bas and despite the pain she caused him he won’t turn his back on her. As the story continues, those that are Property of Parrish just increase and we see moments of love, joy and laughter. But of course life never does run smoothly for the Satan’s Knights and you will sit through (or pace through) a good deal of suspense before getting to Bas and Mac’s HEA.
Great story as a stand alone if you didn’t read the first one. However, it also leaves you wanting to know more about the rest of the Knights and their struggles. The characters are well written and real. The story line is well told; deep, dark, steamy and full of rich details in love, loss and not only finding love again but the power of forgiveness. Thanks for a great story.
Wow….What a story. The Devil Don’t Sleep was an engrossing, riveting novel that will have you hooked from page one. The story line was well-written and engaging, Janine gave us a tale about love, loss, forgiveness, healing and family all set in the MC world.
This novel was emotional and action-packed.
The main characters were flawed yet well developed. They had a chemistry that never faded with time. The secondary characters brought a certain about of balance and levity to the story. While this is Mac and Bas book, the other members of the Satan’s Knights are present throughout the story.
This page-turner had some steamy scenes, shoot-out action, an HEA ending and so much more. I loved it and would highly recommend it.
I received a copy of this book from the author/publisher to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.

The Devil Don’t Sleep is what I would call a second chance romance with twists and turns and excitement. If you have read any of Janine Infante Bosco’s previous books, you know exactly who the Sttan’s Knight of Brooklyn are and what it means to be property of Parrish. Get ready to see what those guys and gals have been up to, too. This is the story of Bas who went to prison for five years. He took the fall and he had a good woman by his side. He also had a great father who was the head of the chapter he belonged to but the has the awfullest mother you will ever meet. You guys are going to hate Milly with a passion. I so wanted to slap the face off that woman so many times. I am still all steamed up about what kind of mother she is.!!! Grrr. When Bas was a teenager he fell in love with Mac and she is is everything. They have been through basically everything two people could go through together. Suddenly though Mac stopped writing and coming to the prison to visit but Bas knew hard it was on her to come to see him locked up. He though was expecting her to be the one to pick him up but she wasn’t. When he walked into the clubhouse he hopes she is the first person she sees and she is only he is not expecting what he finds and he packs his bags and heads to Brooklyn. Six years later though the call comes from his Uncle that Mac is in danger and she needs him. But Bas isn’t stupid, however he is one to follow he gut packs a bag, gets on his bike and returns to the one place he swore he would never go again. Kentucky. I am not going into details of this story as it is so much more than what I just told you and you need to experience it for yourself. I loved Bas and Mac and how they are around each other. I’d love to have a conversation with my eyes with a man. How romantic and how well you would have to know each other. It was just a magical moment for me. I loved seeing all the Satan’s Knights guy and gals. I loved the laughs from Riggs but most of all I fell in love with Ryder. I bet you do!!! There is just no way that you can not. If you love MC excitement with a family atmosphere and unlike any other club that you will read about then you do not want to miss this book. Plus it is a second chance romance that will have you devouring every single word. No one does a love story with a bang like Janine Infante Bosco. Don’t miss this book, or if you have never read anything she has written she has fifteen other books and you can start them just anywhere you want to.
The Satan’s Knights are back and wow are they back! Bas has been in prison and excited to get back home but with one look everything changes. We go on a wild ride with every page of this book. I cried, screamed and bit all my nails off and even threw my phone at one point! Mac i love her character so much I see myself in her! Mac’s strength is so overwhelming and her love just blows you away. If you love the other books of this series you will definitely love this one too! Bas has my heart! 5/5 stars
I am loving these Satan’s Knights! They are not just an MC but a family who protect their own! It’s a place where being the Property of Parrish means a lot!
Mac and Bas are my new favorite couple. They sacrificed so much, lost so much but in the end gained so much more and found each other again even while Devil was nipping at their heals!
OMG what can I say about this book? I absolutely loved it, was so so great. This pulled at my heartstrings from the first word. I totally fell in love with Bas & little Ryder. Omg Ryder is so freaking cute. I laughed, cried & had my heart broke with this story. Another phenomenal story from Janine.
LOVE BAS & MAC!!!
Janine is freaking brilliant! This Satan’s Knights series will definitely keep you on the edge of your seat and tug at your heart. Oh who am I kidding? Its going to damn near rip it apart. Janine takes you through all the emotions, but she brings you back again.
Bas and Mac have both been through hell! Now Mac and little Ryder are in trouble and Bas knows he needs to keep them safe. But can these two overcome their demons or is the devil still hot on their trail?
This is yet another fantastic installment of the Satan’s Knights series. Janine continues to outdo herself. The Satan’s Knights are family and I’ll forever be #PropertyOfParrish.
