All of Nick Thacker’s books are awesome!
Estranged couple Mark and Jen must join forces to rescue their son, Reese, who has been kidnapped. They don’t know what the kidnappers want but are taken to an underwater lab where the bad guy is plotting to destroy the world. It has plenty of details about the underwater world, a doomsday plot, and zombie-like lab workers for science fiction …
Turns out i am a big Nick Thatcher fan. I read all his books and this one was another good one.
Anytime i can’t put it down it’s a good one. Always keeps you wondering .
WHATS NEXT!
This is a light read. Don’t think too much about it as you read. There are some plot holes and unnecessary characters that are not developed well. But it is lightly entertaining.
Outstanding adventure novel with many unexpected twists and turns.
Frustrating
Weird premise but it worked. Not sure how or why . Could of had more plot and some of the shit wall stuff didn’t make sense ( I know) but it all was mostly ok in the end . The heroine wasn’t the target? Lot of plot twists.
I”M not a sci-fi fan and this had a bit more than I like. Other than that it’s a good story.
it was an interesting read. a little out there but an ok book that kept my interest to the end.
Pretty good book
When I reviewed The Golden Crystal I commented that Thacker’s writings were reminiscent of James Rollins. This book continues that thought! I’m a character reader, I get into the characters, their story, who/what they are. In this, his second book the characters were controlled and well developed. They are introduced in such a fashion that you …
I’ve always been a sucker for books about underwater habitats. There is something about the isolation deep beneath the ocean with the constant threat of the immense pressure of the sea water cracking the shelter that ramps up the excitement for me just about every time. Unfortunately, The Depths is the exception to the rule. It starts out okay …
One of the MOST FRIGHTENING books I can ever remember reading. This is not a story for the faint of heart. It will terrify you as you consider the possibilities.
COULD THIS REALLY HAPPEN??!!
Be prepared for heart-pounding, stomach twisting fright, and DON’T read it before bed unless you like having nightmares.
I have read a few Of Nick Thackers books and all are great. This is a great story of what was thought to be a research station long abandoned but turns out to be something else in the end.
It was not what I expected and at times the story did not keep my interest.
A bit far fetched from a science perspective…tough for me as a person who has been his time in at see. Others may like it.
An action packed thriller, fast moving with a novel premise. You will enjoy the characters as they navigate an interesting plot.
Just was not interested, the technology was not believable
This was an interesting though very complex story about an environmental terrorist plot to literally remake the world. A young boy is kidnapped to coerce his parents into helping with the terrorists plot and the world hangs in the balance as they struggle to stop the plot an save their own lives in a scientific laboratory buried deep beneath the …
Sorry Nick, not one of your better stories.
