A love that spans the edges of the universe…
Trapped on the battleship Extarga by a tyrant, Analia is alone. For all she knows she is the last of her kind. With no memory of life before captivity, her mysterious gift is the only indication of who her people are, but she has given up hope of ever returning to them…
Until one fateful evening, she escapes and stows away on the merchant ship … merchant ship Marada, planning to depart at the very next stop and finally claim her freedom. Unfortunately for her, there is no next stop. The crew is planning a delivery that could take months with no way off the ship until the package is delivered.
When Analia is discovered by the fearsome demon captain, Sebastian, she must adapt to her new role on the ship and learn to master her powers…while contending with her freshly awakened desire for the brutally handsome demon.
Can she handle a demon’s passion?

Paranormal meets Sci-fi
Suspense -Action – Angst and Romance made this an engaging and exciting first in series
A well-developed storyline that, for the most part, flowed smoothly. There were a couple scenes that did drag, but overall the plot line was well executed and easy to follow
The characters were intricate and well developed, they complimented one another to create a very entertaining cast
The world building was unique – I greatly enjoyed the mixing of the paranormal with sci-fi
Looking forward to reading two

Great read and easy to like characters
It exceeded my expectations. Two thumbs up!
Over this book! Will by more from this author!
Interesting story. Too bad it read like a VW Bus, clunky. The verb tense kept changing and numerous grammatical errors detracted from the story. The story felt as if it ended halfway through without any true obstacles/conflict (at least none that were solved before they could truly be obstacles) and dragged on until thank goodness it ended.
I definitely enjoyed this book!! (But I only give out 5 stars for life changing words.). I will be re-reading this one again sometime soon. Loved the heroine! Strong and smart!! The story moved and wasn’t stagnant. Nothing felt forced or boring. Got say, awesome job with this one!!!
The perfect start off to a great series! This story involves a great love between Sebastian and Anya, intrigue as Anya discovers who she really is, and triumph when Anya faces her past and saves her friends.
I’ve never read a love story set in space that I liked, but this book definitely hooked me. I look forward to reading the rest of the series!
I originally downloaded this book for free when I was looking around for some new genres to get into and was tired of the same old, same old vampire/wolf stories. It caught my eye because, well, how often do you see a demon love story? I’ve since bought and read the rest of the series and am starting on another series by Kiersten Fay, and she has become one of my favorite authors. The lead characters are very likeable, and, even without the hot, steamy scenes or romance story, I found myself thinking this would make a great sci-fi movie. I couldn’t put the books down once I started reading them. If you are one of those who hates books with more than one part, you could just read this first book about Analia and Sebastian and stop, but the next 2 books work up towards something big and tie all the characters together, and I wouldn’t have been happy if I hadn’t read them all.
In my opinion, the writing is much better than in a lot of other books I’ve tried in the paranormal romance genre, and I plan to keep up with any new books Kiersten Fay has in the future. I’ve tried other authors since, and I seem to keep coming back to her books. If there were many grammar or spelling errors in this book, they were far and few between, or else I was so involved in the story they didn’t create any problems in reading through it.
