Interview with the Author
Q – Tell us a little bit about your Shadow Quest series.
Shadow Quest is a unique mix of genres that incorporates paranormal romance, fantasy, and science fiction romance. My characters are based loosely in mythology with some kick-but mythical creatures such as demons, witches, and fey-like beings. Since they’re all from different planets, I suppose they’d be considered aliens.
Each book focuses on the relationship of the hero and heroine and the trust they must build with one another. The connection they form is a slow-burn at first, and then turns combustible. I play with the fated mates theme, but the conflict and mistrust keeps things interesting. Ultimately love wins out in the end, if they can survive the journey.
Q – What order should I read the books in?
Each book can be read in any order and the reader can still follow along, but for the full experience, I suggest the following sequence:
– The Demon’s Possession
– The Demon Slave
– The Demon’s Retribution
– Demon Untamed
Q – So, why should readers give these books a try?
Romance fans are ravenous, and my Shadow Quest series hits the spot. Readers have told me they have read the books several times over and still enjoy it. It’s a series that draws you in and makes you long for more.
Readers who enjoy action, romance, and alpha males will want to take this epic journey.
Q – What inspired the worlds you created in Shadow Quest, having it take place in space and on different planets?
I’ve always been interested in sci-fi, fantasy, paranormal, and mythology. I thought about the kind of romance novels I enjoy reading and what I liked about them: the idea that there could be a supernatural world within our own, veiled from sight.
Then I thought, “What if all these creatures were really from different planets?” After that, the world building came naturally.

Wonderful
It’s not the behemoth in this story that you should fear: he’s a teddy bear in comparison.
This was a fantastic followup to Demon’s Possession. In this, the male lead is the tormented while the female is pretty much the hero (don’t get me wrong, Merik kicks ass, I’m mostly talking emotionally; mostly). Nadua is quite possibly my favorite of the sisters. She’s a leader through and through and proves that to us many times over throughout the book. She is also a protector and nurturer, making her quite possibly the most balanced of the whole crew. I loved the fight sequences and they balanced out the tender explorations of their tortured pasts and tentative future. This couple was awesome, suffice to say
These demons and their Princesses.
Format: Kindle Edition
Is this only book 2 . I really adore all these characters and love to see these demons struggling to get their mates as well as the Princesses coming into their power. This story about Marik’s life and Nadua’s life and how the end up becoming mated. Nadua is the middle sister and she’s been hiding out on the ice planet Undewla. She has become interim queen until Ada can become old enough to take over as she is the real queen of that planet. This is causing internal fighting as rebels who are called Cyrellians are wanting to kill the false queen Nadua. There are traitors in the place as well as in her army. They capture a demon as the think the demons are attacking them again. That demon is Marik.
So now you get to wonder how he gets to be mated to Nadua and how their going to meet up with all the rest of them on the ship Marada. Plus you’ll meet another individual that joins this story for the first time. I can’t wait to see in the next book when Cale finds Princess Kyra who is the oldest sister.
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book and am so enjoying it.
This book brings you back to Marik who was left on an iced planet while the others follow Sebastian to save Analia. And from there it just gets better. Marik & Nadua’s story is a bit wild & a lot steamy. Added to all that steaminess is the flame between Ethan & Sonya back on the ship. I love how these characters are brought to life on the page as well as the intricate adventures they bring.
I voluntarily agreed to review this book, and was given an Advanced Reader Copy to do so.
Overall rating: 5
This author did a stellar job of making sure a reader could experience every facet of this heart pounding tale! Reading became obsessive while following the ever changing relationship between Marik and Nadua. I actively wanted to shout at the characters for their blindness of heart. The turmoil between worlds, warring factions, devious relatives, lost souls, this tale truly reeks of action and excitement! This is book 2 of a greater saga, however it can be enjoyed on its own as well. Needless to say, you definitely will want to read all of this series! All of my reviews are always voluntarily written.
