Another Great Allon read!!
An epic all too real Gabriel Allon thriller from the master.
Just so good.
Daniel Silva always produces a thrilling book with wonderful characters
Silva brings his main character to life in this modern world. You can feel
the tension as the plot unfolds.
Daniel Silva’s Gabriel Allon is an enigmatic, always surprising character who gets called back, reluctantly, from his life as an art restorer by the chief of the Israeli secret service for special missions. Always twisty, with exceptionally well-drawn backdrops.
Silva writes the best spy novels I’ve ever read, and that includes Le carre.
Who said the cold war was over? If you liked James Bond, you will love Gabriel Allon. International intrigue at its best.
Great spy series, I’ve read them all
All the books I’ve read from this author heve been wonderful reads.
Excellent series by a terrific author.
This is a “middle” book in a series (I will be starting at the beginning now). The series is about the Israeli version of MI-6, the elite of elite spies, etc. Very exciting, sometimes tragic, covering some actual historical things that have happened. Really looking forward to reading all the books in the series.
Great story which I didn’t want to put down.
He never fails to entertain and surprise.
I regret that Gabriel Allon is aging so quickly. That means one day he will be gone, and then I am Not sure what I will do for my summer mystery/action fix. I LOVE this series, and this addition is no exception.
Daniel Silva is an excellent storyteller with creative characters. I enjoy the whole series.
Another great one by Silva. It seems like he’s developing some new characters as the originals are getting older.
Daniel Silva/Allon Gabriel got a bit predictable in this book. His last few books have been some of the best in the series, so its okay this one didn’t quite measure up. I still recommend it and I will continue to read these books.
Gabriel Allon – great character – have read the full series.
Gabriel Allon takes no prisoners. He just gets even.
Anything Silva writes is terrific!
