Very entertaining. Main character very likeable. I enjoyed the book and would read another book by this author.
Very entertaining.
Great summer deck read. Laughed out loud a few times.
Unusual subject matter (scandal involving kinky sex club) — it’s handled from the perspective of a stunned wife. Loved Ellison as she finds out just how badly she’s been betrayed and discovers her own power and sensibility as a woman.
A believable, realistic character.
Very good, really identified with the main character so this was a fun read. It’s a great mystery and it keeps you guessing till the end.
Interesting opening and it only gets better. You will love this book!

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. It was definitely a mystery to the end. Very easy reading and intriguing. I can’t wait to read the other books that Julie Mulhern has written.
Loved the characters, their relationships and their life stories. Can’t wait to read more! The pictures painted of Kansas City in the seventies were on target and descriptive.
Really captures the era and the setting. Nice tension between the characters. Will go out and find more from this author.
Really enjoyed reading this book. I liked the characters and the plot, although I thought I knew the guilty party before the ending–and I was right. I will definitely read more by this author as I find her writing style particularly engaging.
Best series ever. One of the few series I will pay to read. Great characters, story, and keeps you guessing. Add some laugh out loud moments and you have a great read!
Turned to this book post surgery, when I was desperate for some light hearted easy to read fare. I was not disappointed. It was truly enjoyable, engrossing and relatable. I am eager to continue the series.
