Don’t miss book three in the #1 New York Times bestselling Maze Runner series, now a major motion picture starring Dylan O’Brien! WICKED has taken everything from Thomas: his life, his memories, and now his only friends—the Gladers. But it’s finally over. The trials are complete, after one final test. What WICKED doesn’t know is that Thomas remembers far more than they think. And it’s enough to … than they think. And it’s enough to prove that he can’t believe a word of what they say.
Thomas beat the Maze. He survived the Scorch. He’ll risk anything to save his friends. But the truth might be what ends it all.
The time for lies is over.
The first two books, The Maze Runner and The Scorch Trials, are also #1 worldwide blockbuster movies featuring the star of MTV’s Teen Wolf, Dylan O’Brien; Kaya Scodelario; Aml Ameen; Will Poulter; and Thomas Brodie-Sangster!
Also look for The Fever Code, the much-buzzed-about series conclusion that finally reveals the story of how the maze was built, and James Dashner’s other bestselling series, the Mortality Doctrine: The Eye of Minds, The Rule of Thoughts, and The Game of Lives.

i love it
Great ending. I love this entire series.
I thought that this book was amazing because the characters are so close to each other and would do anything for one another. Very surprising and every time you read, there is bound to be a cliffhanger!
It was a bit difficult to adapt to the new situation in this book because the first and second book where about the trials and variables that the Gladers had to go through and now they’re literally fighting against Wicked.
Finally escaped of WICKED’s hands – in the real world – they try to find a way to help the human race to survive by their own means. That`s easier said than done when Immunes are suddenly disappearing and new Cranks appear en masse out of nowhere.
When I got used to Thomas and his friends’ new situation I enjoyed this book. It’s not better or worse than the other two books. But there was a situation when I bawled my eyes out. I haven’t been so emotional in this series before (even though I couldn’t hold back some tears after Chuck’s death in the first book). WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY?! Everyone (except Minho, because who doesn’t love Minho?!) could have been taken, but noooooooo it had to be HIM!!! ARGH! I am angry!! And in a way, that was sooooo sad. Ok, there is not a not-sad-way to die but this was just heart wrenching.
I didn’t really understand why Thomas didn’t want his memories back. I get that he is different now than he was before – at least he thinks that, because he can’t know it for sure now, can he?! And he is scared that he would be ‘bad’ again when he got his memories back. But all those years, the memories with his parents, friends, everything he learned when growing up, he just throws this away?! Ok, whatever. On the plus side, in this crazy world he can’t miss the things he doesn’t remember from before.
I liked the ending of the book and therefore from the whole series. I kind of anticipated this ending because I had this thought already while reading the second book. What else would there have been?!
All in all, I liked this book – some parts more than others.
This book – like the ones before – is huge about the trust topic. You can’t be sure who to trust but remember Wicked is good! 😉
Best book I have read in ages
The most amazing book I’ve ever read
I thought this was a good conclusion to this series. Answered all the questions I had and left me feeling pretty good about the characters. Overall it was a great series. I listened to all three and even the narrator was amazing.
Great book! read right away after book one and two of course.
Great twist and turn of events.
Thomas doesn’t disappoint with his character development and you really feel every change made. The characters grow on you emotionally which wrenches at your heart by the end of the story.
Loved the end. Beautifully written masterpiece.
it makes me sad that they did not include the fact that newt jumped off the wall and that is why his leg was broken in the movie the recored it but did not put it in the movie
but i still love all these books and movies
The first thought I had after I finished reading this book was, “Eh.” And in a lot of ways, that accurately sums up my thoughts on it. It was…okay. Not terrible (better than book #2), but not great either. The answers in this book only solidified my theory that Dashner did not have the trilogy planned out when he wrote the first book and didn’t really know where to go from the maze.
The reasoning behind all of the trials and “variables” was mediocre at best. Terminology was strange and didn’t always make sense (like “killzone”), and in the end, most of what was going on was not any more grand, exciting, or surprising than everything I guessed at along the way. The ending was more of what I would call a “non-ending.” Not satisfying in any way.
The characters didn’t get much better in this book. The only character I really liked throughout the series was shafted in this book. Teresa was even more pointless in this book than in the previous. And I seriously don’t get any kind of a feel for Brenda. So many people like her, but she seems fairly lifeless to me. And something she said near the beginning of this book, now that I think of it, makes no real sense and barely came into play.
So in the end, would I recommend this series? No. Not to adult readers, at least. Maybe teenagers get more out of it, I don’t know. It seems like it’s one of those that you either love or just don’t care for at all. I liked the first book, but the rest of the series didn’t deliver on that set-up. And I have no desire to read the two prequel books.
So amazing!! I couldn’t stop reading! Love this series!!!
