If you like Lee Child’s twists and turns and James Patterson’s page-turning thrills, you’ll love award-winning and bestselling author Joel Goldman’s thriller, The Dead Man!”A masterful blend of rock-solid detective work and escalating dread. The Dead Man is both a top-notch thriller and a heart-rendering story of loss, courage and second chances. I loved it.” Robert Crais, NYT Bestselling Author… Crais, NYT Bestselling Author
When people in a study of the human brain start to die exactly as they have dreamed they would die, Jack Davis crosses paths with a serial killer, taking him onto both sides of the law and into the path of a murderer’s terrifying rage.
“The Dead Man is one of those rare novels you will be tempted to read twice: the first time to enjoy and the second time to appreciate how Goldman put the pieces together. The hours spent on both will be more than worth it.” Bookreporter.com
It doesn’t get any better than that, so grab The Dead Man and don’t let go!

This was not my type of book. Tried reading it but could not concetrate
Very interesting story with a few nice twists. Pay attention and you’ll figure it out before the ending is revealed. But will you be right ?
Good read.
a who done it that will keep you up reading
Jack Davis makes a great hero, complete with all his foibles and tics! His physical limitations don’t keep him back from crime solving. Believable characters round out a great read.
Good character development
I liked this book real well.
Good read. I enjoyed the book
Reading anything I can find from this author.
I discovered Joel Goldman when I read all of the Lou Mason books. I’m also enjoying the Jack Davis series.
Another good one in the Jack Davis series. Engaging, believable, satisfying. Not a happily ever after, good real life issues and hard decisions to be faced.
