I’m Luciana Wright.Everyone calls me Lucky, but when it comes to love, I’m anything but.I have a long history of dating the wrong men.You know the ones I’m talking about. The beautiful, charming guys who are quite literally too good to be true. The ones who are impulsive in love and prefer short flings over long-term relationships.I’m talking about the jerks. The guys who taste so good, but are so … the jerks.
The guys who taste so good, but are so very bad.
After going through the most ridiculous breakup in the history of breakups, I thought I’d learned my lesson. I officially put myself into jerk rehab and committed to changing my ways.
But, let’s be real here, love is never that easy.
Especially when an arrogant, charming, he-devil of a sexy alpha man gets involved.
Aussie accent.
Tanned skin.
Muscular, surfer bod.
Gorgeous brown eyes.
And the kind of sexy smile that brings women to their knees.
Oh, did I mention that he’s also my best friend’s brother?
Yeah. This story, my story, it’s a real doozy you guys.
The day I stopped falling for jerks, I met Oliver Arsen—the biggest jerk of all.

This story was an easy to read but also enjoyable one and centers on Lucky, who has a job as a journalist snd is on an adventure to write about a surfing tour but also a rather intriguing story about her past relationships! Needless to say the storyline is good and I came to really like the characters, the way they texted, chatted and I thought maybe Lucky’s past was catching up with her!
Is she really falling for jerks? How does Ollie come into it and what happens when things are not as they appear to be!?
I was kinda hooked partway through and had to finish but Im really dying to know how Ollie feels!
Does Lucky need to put her past in the past to be able to really be in a relationship!? So cannot wait for the next part of this duet!
4.5 Little Fire stars
The Day I Stopped Falling for Jerks is my very first Max Monroe book, and I’m impressed! The way this book was written was so refreshing and unique and just fun. Luciana Wright (aka Lucky), the story’s heroine, is narrating her story and epic encounters through a podcast. I mean, how freaking cool is that? I’ve read books with bouts of text messages or emails, but a podcast? That’s something completely new to me and I absolutely dig it!
And don’t even get me started with the humor. I couldn’t tell you how many times I bursted out with snorts and giggles the entire time I was reading this, it’s ridiculous. Max Monroe has the kind of humor that sneaks up to you like a damn ninja. It’s like everything’s going fine and dandy, and you’re so engrossed with what’s going on, then BAM! Next thing you know you’re about to blow with laughter.
Oliver Arsen (aka Ollie) and Lucky’s tale is one that will definitely have you stuck on the pages of this book. It’s funny, it’s alluring, it’s genius—hell, it’s just too good! I’m still reeling from Lucky’s podcast and side of the story, but I’m already DYING for Ollie’s POV! I NEED inside that man’s head so badly, it’s driving me crazy!
Oh Max Monroe, you did it once again! The Day I Stopped Falling for Jerks was their usual hilarious romcom but they wrote it in such a unique way, at least for me anyway. Lucky, who is unlucky in love, has decided to detox from dating jerks and she chronicles this in a podcast and each chapter is a new episode. Featured prominently in this podcast is Oliver Arsen. He’s the CEO of a surfboard company and former surf champ. He’s also her besties brother. They meet when Lucky, a journalist, is going to cover the surfing championship. Oh btw, she knows nothing about surfing! Did I mention he’s an Aussie? Yea he is and he’s a jerk. Or is he? Read and find out, you won’t be disappointed.
I feel like a broken record with Max Monroe books since I’m always saying this is the best one yet but I really think the first book in this duet might have taken my #1 spot!!
The podcast format is so unique and hilarious. I wish it was real and I can’t wait for this duet to be on audio so I can hear it. But this book isn’t just funny. It packed so much emotion into the pages that I felt everything from sadness to joy to awe. I’ve added a million new places to visit and almost want to learn to swim so I can learn to surf!!
I’m loving Lucky so much and I feel like she might be wrong about Ollie. I need his part of this duet ASAP!!!!
*This is my voluntary review of an advanced reader copy*
“I still couldn’t believe I’d kissed him, you guys! Just straight up, placed my lips to his, slipped my tongue into his mouth, flipping kissed him. Apparently, I needed Jesus. And a nap. And quite possibly a lobotomy.”
OMG! Can I just tell you that every time the ladies of Max Monroe grace us with a new book, I get so damn giddy! I know that I’m about to be incredibly entertained! Their latest, The Day I Stopped Falling for Jerks, is book one in the brand new Jerk Duet and it was INCREDIBLE! Incredibly hilarious! Incredibly sexy! Incredibly…just EVERYTHING! I adore these characters! Luciana, OMG, she is my spirit animal. I loved her sass, her attitude, her confidence. The way she handled herself in certain situations…priceless!
This first book was told in Luciana’s POV via podcast format (you’ll understand what I mean once you dive in) which was so different and such an original idea. Oliver “Ollie” Arsen, our hero, is a little bit low key in book one, but I know that I’m going to fall instantly in love when he gets his shot to tell his side of the story in book two. You guys! These two characters had such incredible chemistry and banter. I always expect that I’m going to fall over laughing when I read a Max Monroe romance, but this was something else. I had an absolute BLAST! I didn’t want it to end and I’m so glad that the second book comes out soon so we don’t have to wait long for Ollie’s POV!
I’m wrecked, you guys…
WRECKED!
I need the second installment of this duet, like yesterday. This story is so good!
I was hooked on Ollie from the beginning. He’s just the perfect blend of sexy, sweet, and cocky. Yes, he can be a jerk sometimes (can’t we all) but aside from some irritatingly charming behavior, I didn’t see any deal breakers with him. I found myself falling deeper under his spell right along with Lucky.
Lucky doesn’t really live up to her moniker in the love department, which is sort of how she finds herself in this remarkable situation. She’s a tad broken but her determination to fix the wrongs in her love life is admirable. She’s fun, smart, determined, and I loved her personality. But for all her good qualities, I won’t lie. There were a couple of instances where I wanted to shake some sense into her.
Part one of this duet is going to pull you through ALL the feels. I’m so in love with these two and I can’t wait to see what happens with them next.
My poor, poor Lucky! She’s having a bad day, make that a bad month, er months. Her love life is in the toilet when she finds her latest ex has lied to her. Tiago said he was moving back to Brazil because he missed his family. He even called to let her know he had landed safely and that he missed her. Sad right? But when she finds him on the Kiss cam at the Yankees game she and her best friend are attending, sigh…yeah the poor woman has had enough. So that’s when she decides no more falling for jerks. She’s taken inventory of all her past failures and they all involve jerky exes. So, no more jerks. Simple right?
It is that simple. Until it isn’t when she meets Ollie Arsen, her best friend’s brother and the man who owns the surf company that is funding her latest journalistic endeavor as she follows his company’s surf tournament starting in Australia. Ollie is a certified …gorgeous. Slap you right in the face, need a double, then triple take, kind of good-looking, undeniably handsome man. Unfortunately, he’s a jerk, too. From insulting her during their first meeting, to giving her a nickname she hates and constantly asks him to stop using (little fire…yeah I’d tell him to stop calling me that, too!) And she’s on a no jerk diet so she should be fine. If only her traitorous body would get the picture and stop wanting him. If only she hadn’t let him into her bed, and her heart. Then she wouldn’t be forced to detail her heartbreak in the podcast form The Day I Stopped Falling for Jerks takes.
God, I loved The Day I Stopped Falling for Jerks! It’s got Max Monroe’s trademark wacky humor, but it’s got their heart, too. And the tension between Lucky and Ollie is the stuff rom-com dreams are made of. But the real reason I adored this so much is because of Lucky. She’s awesome. She’s sweet and smart and hilarious, and real. She’s the kind of woman we can all relate to, and we all probably know and adore someone like her. And the way she reacts to the jerk that Ollie is is just classic. Snarky, funny and witty. I had a harder time with Ollie for most of the story, because he really is a jerk. He’s a funny jerk, though, and I just know he’s got hidden depths that will most likely come out in his part of the story, which cannot come soon enough. So I’m waiting her verrrry impatiently for The Day the Jerk Started Falling! Even if Ollie manages to piss me off (he will) I cannot wait to hear things from his POV. It should be interesting, to say the least.
This is yet another masterpiece by the writing duo known as Max Monroe. I loved the storytelling method of this book, in that the heroine tells her story via a series of podcasts. “Lucky” (short for Luciana) is a journalist at an online magazine. Through her podcasts we get to read about her past ex boyfriends who all fall in the “jerk” category and her vow to never date a jerk again, right before she takes an assignment with her job that has her globetrotting with a surfing competition. When she arrives at her first destination, we are introduced to the hero/jerk that she meets after her she takes her “no-more-jerks” vow. He sure seems like a jerk in some respects, but is her initial judgment of him accurate? She is witty and smart and a wonderful storyteller. Just the experience of reading this book was so enjoyable I never wanted it to end.
However since this is a duo, the story stops mid-way and the second book will be from the hero’s POV. I actually enjoyed the book so much I read it twice. Talk about crazy book hangover, but in a good way, because I’m not ready to say goodbye to these characters and their story.
This sucked me in from beginning to end and I CANNOT WAIT TO GET MY HANDS ON BOOK 2!
I was very generously provided an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
MM announced this duet kind of late, so I didn’t think I would be able to read it by its release date. When The Day I Stopped Falling for Jerks landed on my kindle, I decided to just peek at the first chapter. Well, I quickly pushed my previously-scheduled TBR to the side in order to keep reading. I couldn’t put it down! It’s fresh, fun and seriously sexy with a hero you will swoon over and a heroine you’ll cheer for. Lucky and Ollie’s chemistry is on fire, and I love everything about their playful, flirty and heartfelt dynamic. This book is cleverly written in Lucky’s POV via her podcast, and I am dying to hear from Ollie in The Day the Jerk Started Falling, which releases on October 25.
ARC provided, but this review was voluntarily and honestly written.
5.5 Amazing stars! It’s going on my #TopRead2018 list.
I started ranting and raving about The Day I Stopped Falling For Jerks, to my book besties, midway through the story. I wanted to share how much I was enjoying this Rom-Com, it was so different from any story I’d read this year. Why? The story is told through a series of Podcasts the h, Lucky, decides to make; she’s a popular journalist for a web magazine with a large following, reminiscing and sharing her dating adventures with her followers. The writing is so fast paced and original and I loved all the characters, the secondary ones added so much to the story. I rarely include Rom-Coms on my #TopReadList, because comedy is so subjective, but I’m adding it to the list and standing by my choice!
This is the first book of a duet, it ends in a cliffhanger, and I can’t wait to find out what’s in store for Lucky. When I wasn’t laughing at her adventures, I wanted to cry when she shared her innermost thoughts and moments of soul searching. Some of her previous relationships were so painful and her willingness to forgive the wrongs done, through a series of articles forgiving them, tells us what we need to know about her.
“We both made mistakes, but we made them because they’re ingrained in us. We made them because we’re not a match. We made them because love doesn’t conquer all.”
After discovering her latest ex-boyfriend lied about going back home to Brazil, Luciana “Lucky” Wright is told by her best friend, and co-worker, Allie that she needs to stop dating jerks (as if it were that simple!). They both work at Scoop, a web magazine, and Allie covers sports and booze and Lucky all things fashion, love and dating. Lucky’s been a serial dater, and every single one of her ex-boyfriends have been jerks. At twenty-seven, she’s had more than her fair share of exes, so she’s swearing off dating and all jerks.
“God, guys. Don’t fall in love. Fall of a fucking bridge. It probably hurts less.”
Lucky’s talked into covering (thanks, Allie) the Pro Surfing League, spending six months on exotic beaches. Allie’s brother, the thirty-seven year-old surfing pro Ollie Arsen, is the sponsor and has a huge budget, so her boss Okays the project. The handsome and single Aussie owns Surf Arsen; he’s a retired surfer well known on the circuit and the ladies. Despite Lucky’s objections (she can’t even swim!) Allie tells her she has nothing to worry about, she’s funny and an extremely creative writer, Lucky can wing it. So with three large Louis Vuitton bags filled with stiletto heels and more outfits than she could possible need, Lucky takes off to join the circuit in Australia.
“I fell for you. Hard. You…the guy who insulted me at first glance and taunted me from that moment on. You…the guy who had the attention of many and weren’t looking for the attention of one. You…the guy who has enough commitment and isn’t looking for more.”
Ollie’s first impression of Lucky is a little judgmental, according to her; he thinks her excess luggage, and heels to travel in, is an indication she’s high maintenance. She’s a fashion writer, she reminds him, and is convinced she’s met the biggest jerk. But seriously, who wears heels to the beach? When he questions her style of interviewing people, she reminds him she’s a journalist, and Lucky is even more convinced to stay away from Ollie. He nicknames her Little Fire, she gives back as good as she gets. But as they go from one exotic location to another, spending more time together, both of them begin to change their opinions of each other; they might have been too quick to judge.
“I mean, we were never official, but yet, somehow, someway, he meant more than any other man in my life ever has.”
After three months they’re on American soil. When things progress, Lucky decides Ollie might be something serious. But when she discovers he lied about something she can’t forgive, Lucky realizes she’s put her heart at stake, once again.
“Insinuating that I was some sort of love pariah who was the main reason none of my relationships had ever worked out. I knew I was bad at love, but I wasn’t incapable of falling for someone. The proof lay in the fact that I’d given him my heart and he’d handed it back to me, bloodied, broken, and battered beyond recognition.”
Tucking her tail between her legs, Lucky heads home to NYC ahead of schedule, knowing she’ll have to continue on the circuit. She wants to lick her wounds, and knows she’ll have to tell Allie she fell for her brother. The jerk! Allie will understand and be her shoulder to cry on.
“That’s what best friends do, especially ride or die, bury that shit in the backyard instead of calling the cops, in it until the end kind of gals.”
Of course Ollie’a clueless. He has no idea Lucky is upset and done. When he decides to get things off his chest, he’s in for a huge surprise!
“My heart is too sad. The wounds too raw. And the cruel words he said still play over and over inside my head like a broken record.”
4.5 stars!!
Max and Monroe never cease to entertain me! The Day I Stopped Falling for Jerks is a funny, fast paced, swoony, sexy, read with incredible character chemistry and the right amount of “gah! Noooo! What are you doing to me?” emotions. I loved it!!
This is the first time I fell in love with the way a story was being told before anything else. I’m generally a characters girl. I tend to invest in the characters before I can fully invest in the story. With this book, it was almost an instant YES!! because of the way it was written. I LOOOVED that Max Monroe wrote this as Lucky sharing her story in a podcast. My goodness. Such a clever idea. I was like “episode 1? What is this? This is brilliant. I need more. Must read on.” It made the story so unique, refreshing and fun.
Of course I also fell in love with the characters. I adore Lucky and Ollie. She is a sassy, funny and so easy to root for. Unlucky in love, I love seeing her take control of her love life and seek closure on her previous terrible relationships. And, Ollie, *heart eyes* He is so different from what I thought he’d be. Yes, maybe at times he could come off as jerk but most of the time I found him to be charming and sweet. I am a full fledged member of the Oliver Arsen fan club.
These two together is magic!! All the bickering, the banter, the growing tension, the “accidental” touches and kisses…*sigh…I could not get enough!!
I CAN.NOT. wait to read book two -The Day the Jerk Started Falling- of this duet, !! I need more Ollie in my life and I’m so ready to get his side of the story.
5 star Review The Day I Stopped Falling For Jerks (Jerk Duet #1) by Max Monroe
The latest release from talented and funny Max Monroe. These two authors have a way of weaving a story that makes it impossible to know who wrote which scenes. They have such a variety of stories out there that you honestly never know what to expect when you pick up a new book from Max Monroe. Podcast? That was a new spin on a story and one I enjoyed very much.
Luciana (Lucky) Wright is a journalist, her current medium being podcasts. She intrigued me from the start, maybe because she”always” falls for jerks. I’m not sure really but she drew me to her, her humour and her self deprecation. Lucky has always been unlucky in love and her current situation is no different.
Enter Oliver Arsen who in Lucky’s opinion is the biggest jerk of all, or is he? A hot, Australian Surfer who may or may not be a jerk, only time will tell. However in my opinion Ollie is totally swoon worthy although he drove me crazy, there were so many times he made me sigh that I can overlook it.
I cannot wait to see what happens when we get Ollie’s side of this entrancing story which thankfully won’t be long. This was a humorous roller coaster of a read, entertaining and one that captured and kept my attention. Will Lucky be able to get over her past? Or is she destined to lose her chance at happiness?
I am #TeamOllie
The Day I Stopped Falling for Jerks is the first book I’ve by this fabulous author duo Max Monroe. It’s completely different from any other as it’s written as a podcast rather than just as story, as it is quite an emotion filled rollercoaster of a tale of a online magazine writer and a five times champion ex-surfboarder who just happens to be Australian.
Lucky by name but not by nature, is Luciana’s motto. She’s been mistreated in love and feels let down by all her exes. She’s had enough of being on the receiving end of all that garbage. She’s taking back control… of her life and her love affairs. No more jerks!!
Poor Lucky, she can’t seem to cut a break. Just as she made her vow, she meets the biggest jerk of them all. Or so it seems to her.
But, somehow she’s been tricked by her best friend, Allie, to spend months doing an on the scene, seat of her pants assignment for her magazine, the Scoop,
Doing what you might wonder?
Well, basically following the men’s surfing teams as they compete in exotic locations around the globe and giving her insight into what she discovers. Lucky knows nothing about surfing so it’s a learning curve for both her and her readers.
She’s helped in her endeavors by Allie’s brother Oliver, or Ollie as he’s known to his fans.
Ollie owns Arsen Surfing, the company hosting the surfing competition that Lucky has been sent to capture ‘in her own words’. He is a bit of a douche when they first met and Lucky tries to write him off as just another crappy guy. But, there’s more to Ollie than meets the eye and soon he and Lucky are hitting it off.
Of course it’s not all plain sailing, or surfing in this case lol, and they met a stumbling block along the way to happiness.
Will they make it make it safely back to shore, or will the wipeout? We’ll find out in part two, The Day The Jerk Started Falling which is written in Ollie’s POV.
This book had me totally hooked from the first page until the last, it was fun and quirky, sad and emotional and just plain all out good reading. I loved it. My only bugbear was that it is written in only in Lucky’s POV as her podcast to the readers of Scoop. This is what made the story come alive, it felt like Lucky was talking to me personally and I felt each and every one of her accomplishments and failures. The highs and the lows. Let’s hope part two sets all to right once and for all.
Max Monroe, you had me at the dedication and I fell in love a little bit more with each page. Although I have been a fan since you first Tapped the Billionaire this book has now taken the top spot in my Max Monroe books and has made the list of all time favorites. The story of Lucky and Ollie is so well written that I could feel the emotions that Lucky was experiencing not just with my brain but in my entire being. The Day I Stopped Falling for Jerks is a sometimes funny, sometimes heart wrenching story of journalist Lucky and surfing legend Ollie that will suck you in and keep you there. If you read anything this year make it this one, well…..and of course the next one in the duet from Ollie’s POV. I can’t wait to see what that sexy surfer (and Max Monroe) has in store for us.
Max Monroe did it again with an incredible book that has wit, emotion, and inspiration. These ladies seem to get it. They have penned some incredible books and this one is no exception. The story of Lucky and Ollie AMAZING I can’t wait to see the next book.
Read for the author.
4.5*
The Day I Stopped Falling For Jerks is the charming best friend’s brother / not-quite-enemies-turned-lovers tale of unlucky Lucky and free spirit Ollie. As the saying goes, opposites attract and you couldn’t find two more opposites than Lucky and Ollie. After one too many relationship disasters Lucky has made a promise to herself that she’ll no longer fall for the jerks. But along comes Ollie, who may just be the biggest jerk of them all, and Lucky finds herself doing exactly what she said she wouldn’t…falling, and falling hard.
I really enjoyed this book. I got a kick out of the way the story was told, through Lucy’s podcast retelling. It was a unique and different take, as we looked back on the development and evolution of her relationship with Ollie, leading us right up to the moment everything comes to a head and we’re left wanting more!
The push and pull between Ollie and Lucky is quite delightful and made for some very entertaining moments. Their chemistry is palpable and honestly, you can’t blame Lucky for falling for this jerk- he’s swoony and sweet and quite endearing!
Even though we won’t get his point of view until the next book, I can already say I am firmly #TeamOllie. I really liked Lucky too, but there’s just something about Ollie that drew me to him. Maybe because everything was told from Lucky’s pov it made him seem a little mysterious and had me wanting to dig deeper into his story. I think there’s much more to Ollie than Lucky’s giving him credit for, and I for one can’t wait to find out what makes him tick!
Max Monroe is the best DUO writers I have ever stumbled across. When I grow up, I aspire to be just like them. I love everything about their writing process, to the words they put down. I love how they can make me laugh, I love how they approach real life situations, and help me learn from them , and all of this is, because of them allowing myself into their brains for a little while. I love every single book that they have written, but I have to be a little honest, I was not so sure I was gonna like this one, let alone love it. The writing style in, The Day I stopped Falling For Jerks is a bit of a difference than the other books that they have written, and that is what had me a bit concerned. I didn’t think I would be able to follow the story line because of the way it was wrote. BUT in true Max Monroe fashion, that was not even close to being a problem. The story line grabbed be by the throat and I am still dangling from the ground, which is why I am facing the problem of, having to wait to read Ollie’s book, The Day The Jerk Started Falling. UHHHHH!!!!
Lucky has always been unlucky at love. She has been through so many downs in past relationships, that she has decided to stop falling for jerks, but for her to be able to accomplish that goal she has a lot of soul searching to do, and a lot of learning from her mistakes. She is a very relatable heroine, with quite a but of sense of humor. It was amazing to see so much progress with her throughout this story line. She is a strong willed woman, with a lot of sass to give.
Because this book is a duet, we have to wait to get certain answers to certain questions, but that is not going to stop my brain creating so many theories. I can not wait to get inside of Ollie’s head, and to see his thought process. I know Max and Monroe will not disappoint.
*I definitely recommend this book to people who love romance, and to people that learn from their mistakes.
4 stars. This was a great start to this duet! This is the first part of Lucky and Ollie’s story. Lucky is a writer/blogger/social media guru for an online lifestyle website. She has a really poor relationship history and finds herself always picking jerks to date and getting her heart broken. When her most recent relationship goes belly up in spectacular fashion, she finds herself swearing off jerks for good. Her boss decides to send her on a several months-long assignment flying around the world writing about the professional surfing circuit. The assignment was set up by Lucky’s best friend, Ally, because Ally’s brother, Oliver Arsen, is a former pro surfer who runs the circuit. When Lucky meets Ollie, she thinks he is another huge jerk, albeit a super hot one. Sparks fly between them and as they are forced to spend time together over the next few months, Lucky starts to wonder if Ollie isn’t the jerk she thought he was and if she could be falling for him.
This book was really good. It is told from Lucky’s POV and is mainly told as she narrates a podcast about her bad luck in love and how her relationship unfolds with Ollie. I loved Lucky’s character and her voice. She is funny, down to earth and good at her job. Her podcasts were so candid and real. I think this would be a great book to listen to on audio because it would be like listening to a podcast. I liked Ollie too, although he is a little mysterious because we don’t get his POV. I can’t wait for the second book in the duet so we can find out what he has been thinking or hiding. Ollie seems to be very laid back, charming and a nice guy, not really a jerk. But some of his actions are unclear, from Lucky’s POV, so I can’t wait to see what his reasoning is.
Lucky’s relationship progression with Ollie is kind of a slow burn. One thing that bothered me a bit is that there is little active pursuit of each other on either of their parts, it just kind of happened. They were traveling on the same circuit and staying in the same hotels, but would go days between trying to see each other. There was no urgency to be together. That was a little bothersome to me, because I like that tension in romance books. But that did get better as the book went along. I still really liked the book. I think Ollie and Lucky make a great couple. The story is fresh, exciting and original. I loved the surfing aspect, as well as Lucky’s writing and podcasts. Her quest to go back over her past relationships, by writing Dear Ex letters, to figure out why she keeps picking jerks and where she went wrong, is fascinating and heart-felt.
Overall, this was a really good book and I will be waiting for book two in this duet with baited breath!
The first book in this duet tells the story from Luciana “Lucky” Wright’s point of view through her podcasts. I love the way her story flows through her words and she doesn’t hold back either. We could be friends… Lucky has a pretty good life, except for her taste in men. She can’t pick a decent one to save her life. And just when she’s sworn off men for good, she’s roped in to an assignment for the website she works for to travel the world with a men’s surfing competition.
Lucky’s first stop on the competition circuit is Australia, where she’s met at the airport by Ollie Arsen, who’s a former surfer god, with a delightful accent, abs for days, total alpha attitude, and is also the brother of Lucky’s best friend and colleague, Allie. Immediately turned off by the fact he’s surrounded by female fans of all ages, Lucky labels him as a “Jerk” and tries to distance herself from him. Like that’s really going to work when they are traveling together for the next couple of months.
Ollie has some seriously jerky tendencies, but there’s something more hidden under that tan skin and amazing brown eyes. And things always happen when you stop trying, right? I love that Max Monroe continues to surprise me with each new series they come up with. I do have to say that I’m glad I don’t have to wait much longer for Ollie’s side of the story, as he has some serious explaining and groveling to do.
This is book 1 in the duet. It was fun, funny, and so dang cute.
Lucky isn’t so lucky. And Ollie is a surfer. Who also happens to be her best friends brother.
Can’t wait for book 2
