Some of the stories hit home, for an older woman. Easy to read.
What a treasure! I feel like I discovered a group of friends. This book was a lovely surprise . I picked it up because of its author, of course. I’ve enjoyed her writing for years. This book has chapters that are complete unto themselves,
Have to warn you, the first chapter was my least favorite, but the rest more than make up for it. A book to read again, and again!
The first short story was cute but it was down hill after that. I stopped reading on the third story.
I love this collection of short stories. All of them are great. Elizabeth Berg has a lot of insight into people.
Normally I shy away from short stories. Each story in this book left me feeling as though I’d read an entire story! Don’t know how that happened but it did. Each story was very different. Each story was wonderfully done! I’ll read it again and again. I highly recommend it.
I loved these short stories. Her characters are so real. I could relate to much of the content. Elizabeth Berg is a wonderful writer.
