It’s complicated.
What’s complicated?
My life!
Six kids, two stepchildren, a dead husband, a nanny with multiple personalities, and a crazy wig-wearing, drug-selling, sex addict mother is only half the story.
Just when I decide to get my act together by putting down the bottle, my daughter decides to throw a party.
This is bad, very bad.
Our parties never go as planned. I can feel the … bad, very bad.
Our parties never go as planned. I can feel the mayhem brewing.
Just when I’m ready to throw in the towel when it comes to men, in walks a hot cowboy that kicks my libido in the nuts!
How can I possibly turn my life around with all this going on?

This is an over-the-top, laugh until you cry comedic read. Crazy, zany, raunchy, fun and completely dysfunctional, the family in this book will seriously make you appreciate your own family even more.
Wow, how to review this book.
Crazy, full of humour, dirty humour, not for the faint hearted, and I’ve never laughed so much in my life.
I loved reading this book and you will too. A definite must read xx
This book will have you laughing out loud, peeing your pants and snorting hard! This hilarious mash up of family members makes even the craziest of families look normal. This is a must read series that will leave you appreciating your family yet make you long to be a part of their family!
This book was crazy good. I really enjoyed both the twisty turning plotline that was very addicting and the wonderful characters! Tons of fun to read

OMG! This book is definitely not your average romance!! There is so much happening and it is as crazy as you could imagine! A family of nut-balls all just trying to live life to the next day! The shenanigans and tricks they all get into is beyond hilarious and mind boggling!!! This was a perfect introduction to the Davenports and I can’t wait for the insane hilarity and sexy smuttiness to continue in the next book!!
OMG, where to start with this review! This story is hysterical from beginning to end, with a dysfunctional family whose drama, antics and shenanigans are eccentric and entertaining throughout. This talented duo of authors’ has done an outstanding job in penning this story, and I cannot wait to read the next books in this fantastic series. I highly recommend this novel for all comedy lovers out there!
OMG!! This is a hilarious book, YAYA and her antics . I laughed so hard at her behaviour. Each character in the book was well written. What I liked about this book is that each character was written in the first person, we are able to understand how each of the main characters feel.
This book is insane! You will laugh till you can’t laugh! I thought my family was insane nope read about this one and you will laugh!!

WOW! This is one unique story with the very most quirky of characters that I’ve possibly ever read. The story is fun and silly and will definitely make you laugh. Personally my favorites are Daisy/Slutty Pepper/Tommy and Daisy’s boyfriend Ford. The dynamic there is…well, wow. I did enjoy the story but I’m not sure if that was enough to make me want to come back to it for the next part of the story, but if you need an escape and think your family is nuts, this might make you reconsider what you call crazy.

Dare to Enter was the first book in the Crazy Rich Davenport series by Shannyn Leah and Kelly Moore. I was provided an ARC for an honest review.
Dare to Enter was the beginning of a series that won’t end with each book, but continues like a TV show. To set the stage for the series, Leigh and Moore painted the colorful picture of the entire hilarious and quirky crew in the first few chapters. We continued to receive the POV from each character as the story unfolded.
Crazy doesn’t even define it. It’s a home of a widow, six children of various ages, grandparents, rental residents and a nanny. And amongst them are sex addicts, imaginary friends, a schizophrenia, a virgin, pornographic producers and several gardeners.
It was well written, hilarious and entertaining. It wasn’t a romance but there was tons of talk of love and sex, not descriptive sex, just tons of talk about it. There was an underlying story that was unfolding and much like a tv show will build until they choose to reveal the truth, much further into the series. As crazy as it was, I’ll have to keep reading to find out who ultimately wins. Hot Mess is up next.
So the story drops you right into the thick of the things. Totally outrageous family with a mom, kids , grandparents and even an interesting nanny! Definitely a wild time and that’s just with the crazy sex crazed granny . Fun and addicting read

In this story you get what the blurb promissed. A fully totally disfunctional family. But it is a fun, sweet, passionate and twisted read. Absolutely worth the time and one-click.
The Crazy Rich Davenports take dys-FUN-ctional to a whole new level. Not one member of Lucy’s family is normal. Ford is dating Daisy the nanny with all her different personalities. Yaya is a riot. There’s nothing like an old lady wearing vivid colored wigs cruising town on a lime green scooter selling viagra. Gemma the second to oldest decides to throw a party for her half sister. She invites her grandparents on her fathers side of the family and her half brother. What she doesn’t see happening are little blue pills, purple dildos flying and a Zombie Hunter coming into play.
This book will have you laughing so hard that you will be crying as you pee your pants. It’s definitely off color and not for faint of heart. Once you pick it up you won’t be able to put it down until your done.
WOW! It is wild, weird and that is putting it mildly. It is like a modern-day Auntie Mame Would make a great movie if they could fit all the zaniness on the widescreen. You will literally laugh until you hurt, groan at absurdities and keep on reading. Wildest family that ever existed. I want a second book to sort out the whole thing. Recommend wholeheartedly.
If you are looking for a funny outrageous romance that will leave you laughing on end, this is your book. This is one dysfunctional family that you will love to read about. It gives you a descriptive up close and center view as you laugh your head off at the antics and drama that this family gets into. You will not be able to put this book down!

This family reminded me of the Beverly Hillbillies/Clampett family, crossed with Mama’s Family. The cast of zany characters is numerous and the author helpfully provided an intro to the main ones to give you a little insider info on them. If you are expecting your average dysfunctional family this is NOT IT. You’ve got your Viagra selling nympho grandmother Yaya, the alcoholic mother with two lovers Lucy. Ford the eldest male child of Lucy, his multiple personality girlfriend Daisy/Slutty Pepper/Tommy who also happens to be the nanny to his younger siblings, the teenage daughter Gemma the do-gooder of the bunch. Bets the keeper of the swear jar and her hero clad brother Bryant will keep you entertained along with other members of the family.
Now this family puts the “functional” in dysfunctional. Their main moral compass Mark died the year before and the family is still very much trying to get their bearings. There have been a lot of roll reversals with Ford trying to fill his father’s shoes and Lucy in denial that Mark is gone and trying to bury herself with alcohol and sex with two different men. The kids are running wild and Yaya is trying to be helpful in her own way.
Behind all of the zany behaviors you see a family struggling to process a big part of their lives being gone. They are all finding different coping mechanisms to keep it together then you throw in their dad’s side of the family that never fully embraced them and you have a family trying to keep their house and their version of sanity intact. One major thing that was very evident despite all of the bickering and shenanigans they had each other’s back. They are all super protective of each other and will do any and everything to make sure no outsider hurts any of them.

This is a fast and entertaining read. Saying that the Davenports are a dysfunctional family is putting it mildly. This family is flat out crazy, but that’s what makes this such a fun book. I can’t wait to see what the next book has for us.
