Looks like the start of a great “series”!
If you like Holmes you’ll like this book! I enjoyed it!
I wasn’t sure what to expect from this book but it was one that I had a hard time putting down. It was written flawlessly and the details were amazing – I could practically envision being right there with the characters. Cannot wait to read the book.
Like greeting an old friend – Dr Watson and meeting two new friends.
An enjoyable read in the tradition of Sherlock Holmes books. Nicely done with a light love story as well.
If you love mysteries you will love book
One of the best books to pick up on Sherlock Holmes and move the stories forward
Well written in the Conan Doyle and period style. Really loved the creative introduction of Sherlock Holmes’ daughter! Very believable!
Really enjoyed this story! Interesting and believable characters too.
Without a doubt, the best book I have read recently! This story is a completely believable and seamlessly written continuation of the Sherlock Holmes mysteries. Many of the characters were familiar as they were the offspring of the original cast of characters. The writer did an excellent job of portraying the deductive skills of Sherlock’s daughter in the manner that Sherlock’s deductive skills were presented in the mysteries.
I have been a long time favorite of Sherlock Holmes and this second generation Sherlock Holmes is great. I enjoyed it a lot. It was hard to put down. very cleverly drawing the reader in to see the connection between father and daughter.
Interesting continuation of the Holmes and Watson characters.
For fans of Sherlock Holmes, this book offers an interesting new story. If you can accept the central premise (a daughter), it is well written and reflects the tone of Conan Doyle’s writing. However, this is also the problem with this book; it mirrors the classic Holmes cannon too closely, and does not necessarily add to the body of literature. Altogether, an enjoyable but not memorable book.
Wonderfully imaginative, a delightful read.
Entertaining and good writing. Recommended to lots of people.
Excellent Watson and Holmes revisited!
The Holmesian aspects (and Watsonian!) are well done. True to the canon with a twist.
Well plotted.
My only complaint is the heavy handed “romance” forced into the story. Too much, too soon, for me.
It felt like a Holmesian mystery mashed together with a period romance
Although I’ve not read this book, I find its synopsis quite interesting. Therefore, I highly recommend this book to people who would like to more about Sherlock’s descendants(For example, Sherlock’s daughter).
I enjoyed Sherlock Holmes from years gone by, so this was a nice book to come across!
