They Say You Never Forget Your First Kiss…But I really want to. It was with my best friend’s brother, Nolan. And he’s the most annoying, most aggravating, most arrogant man I’ve ever met. Just because he’s handsome and charming he thinks all women should fall to their knees. Well, I’ll tell you something. I, Julia Gilbert will certainly not be falling, again. They Say You Can’t Choose Your … You Can’t Choose Your Coworkers…
But I really need to. Because the worst thing that could happen has just happened to me. Nolan, yes the Nolan, is now my coworker. And what’s worse is that he’s been hired to follow me around on my dates for my new column. Because isn’t that what a girl needs in her life? Her childhood crush watching her make a fool of herself on dates for her job?
They Say That You Should Never Mix Work With Pleasure…
But I may have just crossed that line. In the very best of ways. And besides it was only one night. Can’t a girl have some fun? There’s only one problem. Nolan is not part of my meticulous plan for the future. There’s another man I have my eye on. Only Nolan doesn’t seem to get the fact that just because he was my first kiss doesn’t mean he will be my last.

Warm Caring Feel To This Story – 4 Stars
This is an original romantic tale that has a light-hearted feel to it. There is a warm feeling brought about by the small town setting. There are a number of characters in this story who are all unique and add color to the flavor of this tale. The main female character had close friendships that she counted on for unconditional support. This group of friends had great camaraderie, that again, brought a sense of warmth to the story. The main male character was a protagonist, who took great delight in needling the main female character. These two characters were rather sweet to “watch”, as they did a “mating dance” around and with each other.
I voluntarily received an advance review copy of this novel from the author and I am leaving and honest and unbiased review. I have no affiliation to this author.
This book starts The Love Plan Series on a high note. It’s all about kisses and they say you never forget your first one. This is Nolan and Julie’s story and it one that will grab your attention right at the beginning and keep you up late. A best friends brother romance with a twist or two. Nolan is the ‘jerk’ we all love to hate. . Thirty dates and a sexy photographer from your past, what could go wrong?. Or good. A steamy romance with some twists, a little drama, some steam and an HEA. I read an arc and voluntarily chose to review.
When Jules has to write a story she’s already uncomfortable with it only gets worse when she has to do it alongside her long time crush Nolan. These two have had a lot missed opportunities and misunderstandings that make the book all the more endearing and humorous moments that keep you hooked
This is the first book in the new series, The Love Plan. A best friend’s brother romance about Julia and Nolan that will grab you from page one and not let you go until you are finished with it. Loved this story. Julia always had a crush on Nolan but he never felt the same about her, or did he? Nolan has always liked Julia and when she starts going out on dates for her job, Nolan’s jealousy started to show and he starts to sabotage the dates since he is the photographer for her. Loved watching them navigate their feeling towards to each other. Ms. Cooper really knows how to make you feel what the characters are feeling and just puts you into her stories. Can’t wait until the next book in this series.
I read an early review copy of this book and I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
I thought that Jules and Nolan’s story was a fun read. It was a good story with a lot of funny banter. at some points it reminded me of the immature boy with a crush on a girl and pulling her pigtails on the playground. I thought the dates were funny. I liked how they interacted with each other and through it was good. I enjoy the HEA!! I would recommend this book!!!
I enjoyed this read and liked Nolan from the start. He’s a little bit cocky, but fun. Loved the back and forth between him and Julia, the history between them, that kept me on my toes.
Julia works for her small town newspaper and is assigned to write weekly articles about the do’s and dont’s of first dates. She has to sign up on some dating sites and go on 30 first dates. Her best friend’s brother, Nolan, is the photographer for the assignment and he has a bit of a history with Jules as he was her first kiss. She has also been getting letters from a secret admirer for years that make her feel good about herself.
A fun and feel good brother’s best friend story with a few twists, some steam and a happily ever after.
