This is a great fun read with plenty of twists and turns as well as some excellent side characters that draws you in and keeps you engaged
Muffy is having a bad time her latest boyfriend has just dumped her so she joins a dating site There she meets Alex and they decide to go on a date and they really hit it of. The only problem is that Alex only went on a date because his best friend Jay bet him that a woman wouldn’t date without knowing about his money As he realises that he wants something more with Muffy the bet hangs over his head eventually she finds out about it and walks out on him. Will he be able to convince her that he really wants her The secondary story about there best friends Carla and Jay is just icing on the cake
This book is part of the Alphalicious Billionaire series. This series can be read as a standalone but I would recommend reading the series. Meet Alex, he is taking a bet from his buddies that he can meet a woman that will like him for him and not be after or with him for his money. Muffy, that is her name, not a nickname and her boyfriend just dumped her because of it. She is seriously thinking of changing her name. She gives a blind date a try. It’s a blind date, what could go wrong? Or right? This is an exciting story of back and forth to see if Muffy and Alex can own their truths and find HEA!

The Dating Game was a hilarious love story. The conversations between Muffy and her best friend and the conversation between Alex and his best friend were just really funny. The love affair between Muffy and Alex was a serious subject but their friends were funny. It was interesting and entertaining from beginning to end. It was an enjoyable read with a double happy ever after ending.
This story is about Muffy and Adam. This starts off with Muffy being frustrated with her name and wanting to have it changed, but that cost a lot of money in which she doesn’t have. She blames her name for being the cause that her boyfriend broke up with her as he needed someone with a serious name, not Muffy! Carla is Muffy’s friend and roommate, well she convinces or forces her to join a dating app to meet someone new. Adam on the other hand is a billionaire that based on a BET that he does with his best friend/business partner Jay for $20 he also creates a profile on the same app that they develop. He meets Muffy and they hit if off which is where the story takes off, although they are great for each other, does the secret of the bet change things and can Adam turn this around? The story is great and I’m hoping that there is going to be a story on Jay and Carla…. their hookup and at the end being together doesn’t share what they went through.

It was easy to root for both Alex and Muffy in The Dating Game. Muffy had dated a series of losers and was ready to give up on dating when her best friend talks her into trying online dating. Alex takes a bet with his best friend, Jay, to prove to his friend that if he’d stop dating the wrong type of women he would have better results.
What Alex didn’t consider was the possibility that he would meet a woman he cared about. He also missed the consequences of his lies on the woman he dated until he had fallen for her.
While this was a story that has been done often, I liked the focus on what happens when we use other people for our own purposes. And I loved the main characters. Great story with well-developed characters.

Muffy & Alex are two different people. Muffy has had a bad breakup and doesn’t really want to date. Alex is a billionaire and doesn’t date or wants to be with someone. Both of their best friends encourage them to go on a blind date from the dating app that they signed up for. Jay, Alex’s best friend bets him that no one would go out with him if he was just an average guy. Carla, Muffy’s roommate and best friend is tired of seeing Muffy just moping around and crying from her breakup. When Alex meets Muffy, he knows that he could really fall for, but he is lying to her about who he is and doesn’t know how he can get out of it.
He pretends to have a low paying job and not much money. When his credit card is denied, Muffy pays for their meal. He takes her out to see the stars and she really likes watching the sky. Alex just can’t believe she is for real and knows he must tell her. Muffy is really falling for Alex and has no idea this relationship is fake. Everything Muffy does amazes Alex until the four of them go out to eat together. Muffy leaves with Alex to his fake apartment and Carla leaves with Jay. This is when things really get interesting. Carla has figured out who Alex is and confronts Jay in the most amazing way. I won’t spoil the rest of the story.
I laughed until I cried, I cried until I could see to read. But as in Lindsey Hart’s books, she always works everything out and has as amazing ending.

This is the story of Alex and Muffy (yes, that’s her real name) who meet online through the intervention of their friends. There is immediate attraction between them, but they each have reasons not to pursue this relationship. The story evolves as they each struggle with chemistry and experience. It’s a new point of view, and one that I think you’ll enjoy.

Alex is tired of women being only interested in him for this money. Muffy, being new to online dating, would like for one of her dates to not be a creep. One bet from Alex’s best friend will set them on a course of heartbreak or love.
I’ve read several books by Lindsey Hart and can say that I have liked. The characters are believable and the stories is not too far fetched. Wish I could run into a millionaire or billionaire to sweep me off my feet :).

3.5 stars. Cute premise with good character development, this was a good summertime read. As with most books involving billionaires, some suspension of disbelief is required. The steamy parts were lovely and flowed well with the story, versus peppered in for spice. It’s always nice to find yourself cheering for the couple to get it together, and resolve misunderstandings, without unbelievable and drawn out extremes. Nicely done within the constraints of a shorter novel.

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. You have best friends Muffy and Carla and best friend Alex and Jay. This all started out as a bet between Jay and Alex to see if Alex could find a woman that was not about his money. Muffy and Alex hit it off right at the beginning. When you have a best friend they are always looking out for your best interest. Carla knew something was up so she corner Jay and found out about the bet. Muffy and Alex slept together and afterward was when she found out about the bet. They had their ups and downs and their best friends that help out to get these two together and themselves. Muffy and Alex gets their happy ever after and so does the best friends together. This was sort of a fast pace relationship book but good non the less. Great Job on another 5 stars book Ms Hart.

Alex was definitely not one of my favorite characters in the beginning since he accepted a bet from his friend and only made a date with Muffy in order to win. He did finally redeem himself. The story was sexy and engaging with a roller coaster of emotions. The characters were solid and vivid including some secondary ones. Great read. I did enjoy this one!

Alex and Jay are best friends with a large competitive streak. Muffy and Carla are best friends down on men. When Alex and Muffy meet through an online dating site the games begin. Carla pushes Muffy into posting and Jay pushes Alex into posting by betting him he can’t be poor and meet a good woman. Half truths, or lies, lead to hurt in the end. Can the undeniable chemistry fix the false beginning?

This book was such an engaging read with a great storyline and very likable characters that as I turned each and every page Muffy and Alex continued to keep me totally captivated until the turn of the very last page!
The for the opportunity to enjoy your wonderful work. I enjoyed it so much. It’s funny, laughed so much I cried and it was just so well written and couldn’t put it down. Definitely a page turner. I highly recommend reading it. Don’t miss out on a great read . Congratulations on your wonderful work!!
This book by Lindsey Hart checked off a lot of boxes for me: complex, imperfect but likeable main characters with an excellent cast of supporting characters that bring so much depth to the story. Lots of humorous dialog both between the characters and their internal dialog. This was one of those books that I found myself zipping through and while I couldn’t wait to see how it would all work out for Alex and Muffy – I hated to see it end! This is my 3rd Lindsey Hart book and it is easily my favorite so far … and I will be reading more. HIGHLY recommend.

I really enjoyed this book and found it hard to put down. A contemporary romance that will keep you page-turning and wanting more. Secrets galore, explosive chemistry and overflowing with drama. Well-written with strong, likable characters and an entertaining storyline. This was part of the Alphalicious Billionaires Series but is read as a standalone. I read an arc and voluntarily chose to review. Has a HEA and no cliffhanger.

The story of Muffy and Alex is heartwarming throughout and hysterical at times. Lindsey Hart’s great sense of humor shines again. I love her books! Neither Alex nor Muffy have had any luck with dating and have all but given up on it. For very different reasons, they try it again, meet each other, and experience instant chemistry. When the bet Alex and Jay made is revealed to Carla and Muffy, fireworks explode. Great plot. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
