Muffy and Alex are the key characters of this humorous, sexy, and intriguing book. The book has an unusual plot (involving a bet) with lots of emotional and romantic ups and downs. This novel is a great lazy afternoon read. Lindsey Hart has written another enjoyable book which is worth the purchase price!
Steamy Romance With a Twist!
I’ve read at least a half-dozen Lindsey Hart books, but The Dating Game is my favorite so far. I love the characters and the plot and setting is a fresh take on fake relationship romance. I especially appreciated the cars the author took with the ending. The Dating Game is the latest in the Alphalicious Billionaires series, and I can’t wait to see what’s next!
I was given an advanced reader copy of this book, but I liked it so much I bought a copy.
This was a fantastic and heartwarming story about a young man who’s cynical about love after women wanting money and a young woman whose looking for a prince following several dating mishaps. A bet to find a woman who doesn’t care about money while pretending to be broke becomes something more with heartbreaking consequences. The Dating Game is full of secrets, a bet, an instant connection, humorous wit, passion, romance, and love. This is a captivating read that readers won’t want to put down, with wonderful characters readers will fall in love with. I absolutely loved this book and can’t wait for the next book in the series.

Muffy has had it with men all they do is make fun of her name or suggestive comments about them. However her room mate refuses to let her give up and talks her into signing up for a dating site. After the first date is awful she’s ready to delete her account but her room mate talks her into one more date. Alex and his friend are talking about women only wanting them for their money when they come up with a bet. Alex has to find a woman that will like him when he can’t pay for dinner, take her out on an extravagant date and he is no money. He does up a dating profile and Muffy’s friend chooses him for Muffy to see next. Muffy feels bad when his card is declined but she understands being short on money and pays for their dinner. Alex is stunned that she still wants to see him and they make plans for another date. When things start to heat up between them he knows that its more than a bet for him. What will Muffy do when she learns about the bet? Can Alex get her to give him a second chance?
This is a great story that once I started reading it I couldn’t put it down. The chemistry between them is scorching hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Who would have thought that a bet would have Alex meeting the perfect woman…she didnt mind paying for their dinner after his credit card was declined….she enjoyed their star gazing…she never complained about his rundown truck …..she didnt mind his shabby apartment……
How will the billionaire explain to Muffy that it was all a game?
A really entertaining book with a solid storyline and wonderful characters.

Received an ARC copy of this book
Loved it, told from pov of both characters, it was fun to read.
Alex goes on a blind date with Muffy, a girl who has sworn off relationships when one date after another results in disaster.
Their date goes off well, with both of them finding it easy to like each other’s personalities.
The problem? Alex, who Muffy thinks is a guy struggling to make ends meet, is actually a billionaire who takes on a bet with a friend—to prove that not all girls are after his money!
So… as expected, everything blows up in his face, and Alex had to do major damage control to win back Muffy, the girl he realised that he has fallen in love with.
Lindsey Hart did great with this story, reminding us, her readers, that love should never be trifled with. I love how every time, Lindsey Hart manages to write about topics that while they seem to be over-the-top, are inherently real in today’s world. So, yes, this author will always be on my top reads to follow!

When his friend Jay bets he can’t get a girl if he’s poor he takes the bet. Muffy’s best friend Carla talks her into a online dating. Will they all be bad for her? What will happen if Alex and Muffy go out?
What will happen if Muffy finds out the truth or will she? Is it just a date or could it be more?

The Dating Game is about a billionaire who on a bet pretends to be poor to find a woman who wants him for him and not his money. When he finally meets the right woman how will she react when she finds out their relationship started out as a bet. Loved the epilogue and getting to find out where everyone is a few years later. This is a fun take on a dating game with great characters and a story I didn’t put down until the last page.
This is a fun, quick yet highly entertaining and sexy summer read that was both emotional and exciting. A romantic journey filled with witty banter, interesting charters and thrilling passion.
Muffy and Alex are sweet together. Muffy’s done with men.. and Alex is tired of women seeing dollar signs when they look at him.
Muffy’s best friend sets her up on a dating web site. And absolute disaster ensues with Muffy’s first two dating attempts. Her friend says she can’t give up and sets Muffy up once again…
3rd time’s the charm???
Laugh out loud fun.
I received a complementary copy of THE DATING GAME for my honest opinion.
Muffy just can not seem to find a decent guy. Her best friend talks her into giving online dating a try. The forest two are disasters, but the third has promise. He seems like a wonderful guy, but is he what he seems?
Alex tries to explain to his best friend that there are good women out there, just not the kind he keeps dating. This leads to a bet and a fake online profile. To his surprise, the first date is a wonderful women. When his feelings become more real than his fake profile, will she still have him?
Fabulous romance. Just enough drama and laughs to balance the heat. Loved it!

Loved the book it was great the story was well written and the characters were interesting. Muffy is an accountant. Carly is Muffy’s best friend who has encouraged Muffy to join up on a dating app. Alex and best friend Jay made a bet, Alex believes that you can find someone that does not care if you are broke. It is a book that was mix of emotions, easy to read I cannot wait for the next book to come out.

When Muffy is dumped by her boyfriend because her name can’t be taken seriously, she decides she’s done dating. She doesn’t think she’s anything special after being put down so many times. Her roommate and best friend Carla ends up talking her into online dating. After a couple disastrous dates, she meets Alex and the attraction between them is undeniable. He’s gorgeous and she doesn’t understand what he could see in her.
Alex and his friend Jay are billionaires who are tired of being used by women for their money. Jay bets Alex that no woman would want him if he was broke. To prove Jay wrong, Alex makes an online dating profile and meets Muffy. She’s sweet, smart, funny and beautiful even if she doesn’t know it. They hit it off and Alex feels guilty about all the lies he has told. When Muffy learns the truth, she’s hearbroken. Can Alex fix the relationship with his perfect woman?
A story of self doubt and lies. Muffy is a strong lead character and Alex is a great guy. He could have told the truth sooner, but still a good book. Carla was a great side character and Jay was kind of annoying at times.
A gripping romance that is full of drama, humour, ups and downs, and intrigue. The storyline is well thought out, emotionally deep, and consistent; I was captivated from page one until the end. Strong characters you will love and root for; the chemistry between them is off the charts and intense! This book is guaranteed to leave you wanting more. Definitely recommended!

Gosh what a mess.
Alex and his buddy Jay make a bet, since Alex is tired of woman after his money and not love and he has a competitive nature takes the bet.
Muffy yes that’s her real name is tired of the a**hole men she has dayed and is ready to give up on the whole relationship thing. Her bestfriend and roommate Carla convinced her to sign up for a dating service. This is where she meets Alex. Their relationship started out on a lie so its only appropriate for it to last a little over a week before total failure. Alex lies about himself and Muffy lies about wanting a real relationship. So yeah total failure. Carla and Jay meet one night when Muffy and Alex have a date and recognizes them, so she takes Jay home and interrogates him into the truth. Oops Alex and Muffy have already slept together and love was in the air until it wasn’t. Alex and Jay got into a huge fight over that little tidbit. Muffys dragging around the apartment got on Carlas nerves so she called Alex to fix it. In the end who was hearing wedding bells?
