For fans of John Connolly, Nevada Barr, and dogs of all shape and size, the first novel in the new Flint K-9 Search and Rescue Mysteries, from the author of the USA Today-bestselling Erin Solomon Mysteries.Meet Jamie Flint — a no-nonsense veteran K-9 trainer and handler with a ‘gift’ she’d be happy to return: like her dogs, Jamie can sense things the rest of the world is blind to.When teenage … world is blind to.
When teenage sisters go missing in the mysterious ‘Bennington Triangle’ of Vermont, an area renowned for its disappearances, and strange occurrences over the past hundred years, FBI agent Jack Juarez brings Jamie and her dog Phantom in to assist with the search. When Jack learns that the case shares haunting similarities with the murders of the missing girls’ aunts ten years before, he realizes they’re dealing with much more than two girls who simply wandered off the beaten path. And when a young girl appears in the shadows, visible to Jamie alone, it becomes clear that something is desperately wrong here.

I really enjoyed this book. Great characters and story!
Loved this book and the characters. Will read more of this author.
Kept my attention
I had never read this author before, and was quite pleasantly surprised to find that the book was great. It realistically portrayed what happens in a search-and-rescue using trained dogs with their trained handlers. I knew there was a great deal to it, and this book showed the unrelenting commitment involved. It also had supernatural aspects which I found to be well done.
It was okay but too drawn out
Got me, I did not have it figured out. Fantastic read
Excellent story. The characters are interesting and you can’t wait to find out what they are hiding.
Love to read about working dogs and the amazing things they do! Great job including the dogs as characters in the book!
I liked the use of search and rescue dogs being a part of story line.
This book turned out to be a real page turner for me. The characters were well drawn and even the various search dogs had their own personalities. Throw in a murder investigation, a little paranormal activity and enough plot twists to keep you guessing right up to the end and you’ve got a fun read. I will be reading the next one in this series.
Great book. Descriptions made me feel I was there with the dogs and handlers. A real “can’t put it down” mystery.
I found this book to be a page turner and interesting. This book also explained a little about canine search and rescue as the story progressed. It kept my interest and I did not want to put it down once I got into it. Would recommend this to others.
My first read of this author and I can’t wait to dive in for more.
This is a well written book with relatable characters, as well as educational in the area of dog training. Very much enjoyed this one.
Moved along quickly and had a few twists and turns. Very entertaining.
Good entertaining. Kept me interested.
Started slow but turned out to pick up rather quickly, becoming quite interesting, twisted, scary & unique
I loved this book and bought the second in the series.
Very good book.
Ended to quick, no suspense build up…
