Fantastic story!
Max Belmore did an outstanding job narrating “The Darkest Lie”. Not only did we get the ins and outs and ups and downs of Gideon and Scarlet’s tumultuous journey to their HEA. Many of the other Lords of the Underworld shared parts of their adventures as well. A few went to hell to rescue a demon. Hunters surrounded the fortress, …
Fantastic series! Every character is so unique and special. The world amazing. And the over arching story line is so interesting!
3 1/2 stars
The Darkest Lie was one of the better books in this series, but at best it was alright, still a great improvement from most of the stories in the series. We get a few really good plot twists, which caught me by pleasingly by surprise. Scarlett and Gideon were decent characters, and more likable than most of the previous Lords. I was …
Loved this book. The teasing relationship between Gideon and Scarlet was hilarious, super entertaining, and the plot twists kept me interested and caught me off-guard. One of my favs, but with Gena, it’s hard to choose just one. Gena Showalter The Darkest Lie
Love all of the Lords of the Underworld!! Have read the entire series several times. Love all Gena Showalter’s work.
One of my all-time favorite series 🙂

Mostly because the author felt the need to interpret everything he said in the beginning. I understand why she made that decision, but it did make the …
I’m still bouncing between 3.5 stars and 4. I like Gideon and I wanted to read his story. I thought it sucked hardcore how he could only speak in lies. So I wanted his happy ending but I didn’t think about how his book would be in the ass backwards speak. So it got to me a bit halfway through. I like Scarlett and her story broke my heart a bit so …
