All good things must come to an end, Constant Reader, and not even Stephen King can make a story that goes on forever. The tale of Roland Deschain’s relentless quest for the Dark Tower has, the author fears, sorely tried the patience of those who have followed it from its earliest chapters. But attend to it a while longer, if it pleases you, for this volume is the last, and often the last things … things are best.
Roland’s ka-tet remains intact, though scattered over wheres and whens. Susannah-Mia has been carried from the Dixie Pig (in the summer of 1999) to a birthing room — really a chamber of horrors — in Thunderclap’s Fedic; Jake and Father Callahan, with Oy between them, have entered the restaurant on Lex and Sixty-first with weapons drawn, little knowing how numerous and noxious are their foes. Roland and Eddie are with John Cullum in Maine, in 1977, looking for the site on Turtleback Lane where “walk-ins” have been often seen. They want desperately to get back to the others, to Susannah especially, and yet they have come to realize that the world they need to escape is the only one that matters.
Thus the book opens, like a door to the uttermost reaches of Stephen King’s imagination. You’ve come this far. Come a little farther. Come all the way. The sound you hear may be the slamming of the door behind you. Welcome to The Dark Tower.

This series and the expansive worlds that bleed into it are the reason I wanted to become an author. The idea that characters could flow between stories and the most disparate of ideas could exist together made me realize just how powerful and enjoyable writing could be.
Great book!
All I can say about this series is what a mind f@ck ‘scuze my language but seriously this series was a little slow to start in The Gunslinger and The Drawing of the Three but once it gets going it really goes. I’ve never been a big Stephen King fan but I was enthralled with this book. When I wasnt reading it I was thinking about it. The ending had …
And so at last we come to The Dark Tower, the final book in Stephen King’s series of the same name (the long tale he’s said is his Lord of the Rings).
The first act is fast-paced—more so than anything else in this saga of Roland the gunslinger and his “ka-tet” of misfit warriors. After the birth of Mordred, his horrifying son by a demon mother, …

Waited years for this to finally come out, and didn’t disappoint! Great read!
I have read all seven books in t his series, very readable.
I love the way Stephen King can write in a way to make the reader feel like they’re there.
Love this series by Stephen King. He knows how to grab you into his stories, and it’s hard to put down.
It all comes down to this, and the result has left readers with mixed feelings for years.
Though I wasn’t too keen on the way the two main antagonists were dealt with, I absolutely adored the final few paragraphs. It was a perfect “final end” to the saga IMO. I would also recommend avoiding the feature film (2017) as it is nothing like the books. …
Read it, I beg. Read it very well.
I thought I wouldn’t enjoy this series. I thought Dreamcatcher would be my favourite King novel forever. But this is the best book I’ve ever read. Period. I don’t know where to start, so I won’t. Suffice it to say, if you haven’t read these books, you need to start, especially if you’re a writer, because this …
The “Gunslinger” series including “The Dark Tower” is one not to be missed. Stephen King at his finest.
The Dark Tower series is a fantastic tale that not only spans several novels, but also several planes of existence.
This epic series of my favorite author has a somewhat twisted ending but after wading though almost a thousand pages to get to the ending, everyone will have a different view of how it should really end. The series is magnificently written, keeps you up at night, and is one you never want to put down and will read again and again until the stars …
Loved this entire series!
This is a great series some of kings best work.
I loved the Dark Tower series! King created another wonderful world for us to explore! With Roland of course!
Stephen King characters are always well developed. This novel is dark but compelling. I couldn’t put it down. K
It took me well into my adulthood until I felt I was ready for this series. Epic!
I loved the entire series!
