This author over whelms you with feelings, as you read this book. You go from hate to love to so much more. As you turn the pages you will be transported into another world. This is a very romantic moving story that will keep you trapped with in the pages till the very end!
The author moves you from a sexy interlude to a battle as they fight a war. You will not regret purchasing this book!
Twists and turns in the political climate of the times.
I appreciate a strong female character however get annoyed with one that doesn’t stop to consider consequences. The female lead really annoyed me.
Truly enjoyed this book
This was a great romantic story with an overflow of passion.
This book had me at the edge of my seat. At first the I noticed the slowly creeping soft porn, but with all the action and intrigue, I found it hard to put down. At the end, which I loved, I just kept reading it over and over again. I really didn’t think I would love this book as much as I did, surprise, surprise, I really loved it. Can romance really be that honest, loving, and exciting? Well, a girl can dream.
When former enemies are forced to marry, do they remain enemies or do they learn to love each other? Great premise for this period piece that leaves you satisfied.
Really good book. The characters were a little unrealistic. No man is going to be that understanding or woman that forgiving.
It’s an okay book. I would not read it again myself.
I enjoy all types of genres and historical romances are some of my favorite. The characters in this novel are well thought out and blend well. I can confidently recommend this author and this particular novel to anyone who enjoys a good well written book.
4.5 stars
What I loved about the book:
a) This is was a full story from start to finish. No cliffhanges, no unresolved situations, no anything.
b) H is absolutely perfect.
c) Sex scenes are fine. -When they started doing it.
d) Author used actual events.
What I didn’t love about this book:
a) Book was too long. It could have been smaller and not lose anything of its glory
b) The misunderstanding and assumptions and accusations dragged too long and somewhere in the middle it just got repetitive. The luck of trust between them was understandable in the beginning but later it just got annoying.
c) The inidelities of king Edward when he was “sooo in love” with his wife. (although I get the fact that that’s what they’ve been doing back then)
Good story but you had to wade thru so much sex!
Great story and characters. A lot of historical incite and love story of main characters but too much “explicit” sex.
Kept your interest, not quite so run of the mill love story.
Great read.
Great book, good read. Loved it!
This was an entertaining novel. I read it strictly for pleasure, however I learned about the Welsh rebellion against King Edward and how the title of Prince of Wales goes to the heir to the English throne. Good plot. Good story.
Was sad when it ended.
Couldn’t stop reading.
