A lot of great intrigue. Well written with Constant action. I would have given it five stars except for the grammatical errors such as missing words, wrong words used, duplicate words and duplicate phrases which interrupted the flow of reading.
Great read, the assassin is honorable and his story is really a great read, highly recommend.
Dan Roy is an ex-special forces operative but for one reason or another he can’t escape his past. Mick Bose writes fast paced, action packed suspense novels that can be graphically violent at times but no more so than most films of this genre. Dan Roy is an interesting character with flaws and a past that is more complex than it first seems. It is great to have books 4-6 together in this collection as although each story is individual there are some aspects of these books that carry on throughout the series. This adds depth, interest and background to an already complex man. I definitely recommend this collection.

Totally unrealistic. The hero would have been dead a dozen times over in the first book.
very good
OK, but not the greatest.
This book as action and keeps the interest. The actions aren’t realistic but it is fun to read.
Once I started I couldn’t put it down.
Too much action – no down time for main character. No other story line – he goes from one battle right into the next. Would expect this if it were a war story set in some foreign country, but not the US.
I have had this book series on my kindle for a while, and finally decided to check it out. I was not impressed at all.
.
Dan Roy is a former US Army Delta operator, who is then brought into a top-secret organization that gets the missions that the government can’t be formally linked to. This is not an original concept, and the main character must be some kind of superhero. After being shot, beaten and assaulted in any manner of ways, Roy is still able to fire perfect headshots every time he shoots at an enemy combatant. The abuse this man received to his body would put any other person, no matter how physically fit, on bed rest, at the very least, for days. Dan, however, will just take a nap then go attack an enemy army with one rifle, a handgun and his trusty knife.

Besides ridiculous plot lines, the writing itself could have really used an editing staff, or at least somebody who could fix the punctuation/grammar/research. The second two photos are some of the more outrageous mistakes I found reading this series. If there is a large building flanked by two smaller buildings, the entire compound will NOT be roughly 150 square feet. That’s a 10′ x 15′ room. Next, 268 miles west of Jacksonville, Georgia is about 40 miles west of Atlanta. How is a Russian ship testing submersible vehicles in the middle of dry land? The direction is East, not West. This mistake was made multiple times on one page, plus several times in the chapter.
.
The only reason I continued reading this series is because I do not quit reading a book until I’m finished. That’s just how I am. If you want to read a quasi-military fairy tale, you may enjoy the Dan Roy series. Otherwise, keep looking for something else. Is it just me, or does anybody else think that books released for e-readers do not get the editing attention ink and paper books do? I’m seeing more and more books being released for Kindle with typing errors (spelling/punctuation/grammar) that ever before.

My Rating: 1.5/5 stars
The writing was amateurish at best. Sentence structure made it difficult to follow sometimes. When the author was explaining the action it was hard to visualize because pieces were left out. I slogged through all three books but I probably won’t read the rest. The books need a total re-write/editing.
excellent
It’s a well written series of books. Keeps you interested. Not a earth changing read, hence 4 stars, but just a good pleasant read.
Too many dead bodies. Everyone but the main character gets blown up or shot by the dozen. The plot seems to exist only to tie all the action scenes together.
Flowed along for my nightly reader,, kept my interest
Oh they are good. Kept my interest throughout!
A few typos a good editor should have caught. Great suspense, great mys
tery.
Excellent books but could have had better editing.
Really liked the characters. Story lines moved fast. Not sure the main character could pull this off but a very good read.
