An ingenious code hidden in the works of Leonardo da Vinci. A desperate race through the cathedrals and castles of Europe. An astonishing truth concealed for centuries… unveiled at last.
While in Paris, Harvard symbologist Robert Langdon is awakened by a phone call in the dead of the night. The elderly curator of the Louvre has been murdered inside the museum, his body covered in baffling … baffling symbols. As Langdon and gifted French cryptologist Sophie Neveu sort through the bizarre riddles, they are stunned to discover a trail of clues hidden in the works of Leonardo da Vinci — clues visible for all to see and yet ingeniously disguised by the painter.
Even more startling, the late curator was involved in the Priory of Sion — a secret society whose members included Sir Isaac Newton, Victor Hugo, and Da Vinci — and he guarded a breathtaking historical secret. Unless Langdon and Neveu can decipher the labyrinthine puzzle — while avoiding the faceless adversary who shadows their every move — the explosive, ancient truth will be lost forever.

A great read that really makes you wonder
Brown is a master! Interesting plot twist that makes you go, Hhhhmmmmm?
Wow!
This book is a bit controversial because it makes the case that Mary Magdeline was Jesus’ wife and they had children.
Great Masonic history
Couldn’t put this book down.
The story, though having many moments of excitement and mystery, has some unrealistic premises and character inconsistencies that left me very disappointed at the end.
Great read. Dan Brown is great!
i did not know before reading this series that there was surch a thing a symbolistic studies. i could not put this book down.
I loved it more til naysayers called it less than worthy. I still value it.
one of the best books of all times
Dan Brown is a man who can just tell a story. Doesn’t flex his vocabulary, and frankly doesn’t need to. Just tells a fun and fast paced story.
Great fictional page turner
Fun story set in many popular tourist destinations
This book is very complex, about the development of the Roman Catholic Church and its priests. It suggests that there was/is a secret society within the church.
Leaves readers with a lot of questions in his or her mind withr respect to exactly what happened.
can’t go wrong with dan brown novels
One of the best books I have ever read.
Its a copy of Holy Blood Holy Grail which was much better
I didn’t care for it. Not likely to read another by this author.
