Dan Brown’s mega-bestseller is now available for a new generation of readers. This young adult adaptation is the perfect way to get ready for Origin, the latest novel featuring the character Robert Langdon. It will remind fans everywhere why the New York Times calls The Da Vinci Code “blockbuster perfection.” Includes over twenty color photos showing important locations, landmarks, and artwork, … locations, landmarks, and artwork, taking readers from Paris to London and beyond!
The greatest conspiracy of the past two thousand years is about to unravel.
Robert Langdon, professor of religious symbology at Harvard, is in Paris to give a lecture. At the reception that follows, he is scheduled to meet with a revered curator from the world-famous Louvre museum. But the curator never shows up, and later that night Langdon is awakened by authorities and told that the curator has been found dead. He is then taken to the Louvre—the scene of the crime—where he finds out that baffling clues have been left behind.
Thus begins a race against time, as Robert Langdon becomes a suspect and, with the help of French cryptologist Sophie Neveu, must decipher a mystifying trail of clues that the two come to realize have been left specifically for them. If Robert and Sophie cannot solve the puzzle in time, an ancient truth could be lost forever—and they themselves might end up as collateral damage.

REally enjpyed it
Love, love this book! One of those books you can’t put down. Story line is plausible no matter what you believe.
I read this ages ago and still always keep an eye out for a Dan Brown tome. I’ve never been disappointed.
Very interesting and entertaining—created a whole new genre of novels!
Very absorbing. Loved the thrill and mystery.
Makes a person who has an enquiring mindset look at the world around us and question how much more is being hidden from us. The reality is that all religions have many secrets that the POWERS THAT BE would sometimes go to extreme lengths to keep these secrets hidden is not far fetched, to say the very least.
I read this book in one sitting and found it facinating.
Wonderful read
An excellent read. It’s hard to put the book down. Very very intriguing. It’s one of the best well written books in its genre.
Dan Brown’s writing skills do not do justice to the plot
Well researched action packed puzzler.
Read all dan brown books, davinci code, 3 times.
Really makes you think about what would happen if this was true. Very interesting book.
Even though later books in this series got more and more ridiculous,I thoroughly enjoyed this one. As someone who had been raised in a religious home, I’m constantly surprised at how much they DON’T teach in Sunday School. Educational as well as entertaining.
Just plain dumb
Book and movie were good. Found myself researching online. Nicholas Flemel also appears in Harry Potter
The first of Brown’s books that I read. An absolute page turner! I couldn’t put it down! I found myself looking up artwork and locations he used in the plot at midnight!
