Dan Brown’s mega-bestseller is now available for a new generation of readers. This young adult adaptation is the perfect way to get ready for Origin, the latest novel featuring the character Robert Langdon. It will remind fans everywhere why the New York Times calls The Da Vinci Code “blockbuster perfection.” Includes over twenty color photos showing important locations, landmarks, and artwork, … locations, landmarks, and artwork, taking readers from Paris to London and beyond!
The greatest conspiracy of the past two thousand years is about to unravel.
Robert Langdon, professor of religious symbology at Harvard, is in Paris to give a lecture. At the reception that follows, he is scheduled to meet with a revered curator from the world-famous Louvre museum. But the curator never shows up, and later that night Langdon is awakened by authorities and told that the curator has been found dead. He is then taken to the Louvre—the scene of the crime—where he finds out that baffling clues have been left behind.
Thus begins a race against time, as Robert Langdon becomes a suspect and, with the help of French cryptologist Sophie Neveu, must decipher a mystifying trail of clues that the two come to realize have been left specifically for them. If Robert and Sophie cannot solve the puzzle in time, an ancient truth could be lost forever—and they themselves might end up as collateral damage.

Plot so facinating I would stay up all night to finish it
My favorite work by Brown.
I love Dan Brown! His fiction novels are amazingly accurate and research based!
It The Da Vinci Code, what else is there to say on this one.
Love the book!! This is the one that started be on reading Dan Brown’s other books. Love the way he writes.
I loved all the symbolism, mystery, characters, and places in the book.
loved al the books in this series. all the books are exciting and fact filled. the characters are believable. they are intelligent in their field and take care of themselves without being mma fighters
If I had read this before Foucault’s Pendulum by Emberto Eco, the impact would have been overwhelming for a good Catholic boy to read about the Holy Grail. Indianan Jones missed it a bit, because the Holy Grail is not the chalice Jesus concentrated at the last supper, it was his descendants. Puts a whole new perspective on the stories I was told in parochial school. I like this book a lot though because Dan Brown used a lot of familiar holy icons to build the suspense and the albino monk who used self-flagellation as penance, too much, really.
The movie was better. It feels blasphemous to write that, but it’s true. The book was too twisty, and I wasn’t very connected to the characters. But the bones were there, and it was interesting.
Great read
Plot just doesn’t stand up.
great book
Loved it!
As advertised…
This book is a rollercoaster ride. It is fast-paced and thought provoking. Intelligent reading with scary twists.
Fascinating
It’s been a while as I read it when it first came out, but I loved it. I then read the other books he had written prior to this one. They were also great. Since then, I have read all his books. Great author who does a ton of research for his booms.
I totally enjoyed this book. I love Dan Brown’s protagonist: Robert Langdon and have eagerly awaited each new adventure he has been written into.
A very good Story.
