Dear Professor,When I said I wanted the D, I didn’t mean that letter on my exam. You’re gorgeous, forbidden, and the man of my dreams, but the only D you can give out is a letter grade. I don’t have an apple for teacher. Instead, I’ll give you my cherry.A girl can dream, right? I wish you wouldn’t make me hate you when all I want to do is make love to you.Sincerely,Your Frustrated StudentThat’s … you.
Sincerely,
Your Frustrated Student
That’s what my know-it-all student wrote to me in a note, thinking I’d never find it.
And I wish I hadn’t because I want her, too.
I’ve been lost in lust with Blair since the day the copper-haired bombshell sauntered into my lab, took a seat in the front, and nibbled on the tip of her pen with that delicious, full pout as our eyes locked.
I won’t teach her how to please men—I’ll teach her how to please me. No dates. No falling in love. Nothing but the D.
Blair is mine until our arrangement ends.
But not only is she a virgin and my student; she’s my best friend’s younger sister.
And our forbidden fling is fast approaching a forbidden romance. A hundred reasons to stay away, but only one to stay with her.
I’m falling in love.

A well written story with a nice storyline and plot. It has humour, emotions, steam, twists and also moments that felt weird. Likeable well defined characters who develops nicely through the story. I like it is written in dual POV which gives the reader a lot more of the feelings of the main characters and makes the story more real and relatable.
It is a student/teacher romance where the heroin wants her teacher to take her virginity. But is a one time enough? A fun, entertaining and enjoyable read.
This was a great story and was very entertaining. Once I started I couldn’t put it down. The chemistry between the hero and heroine is sizzling hot. I would recommend this to anyone that loves a great love story.

She did not want a D in her exam but that is what she got. She just want to have her first time with her teacher and she tells him that in a letter. He was surprised he got the note from her and now all he can think of is having but it is not allowed. What will they do? Will she finally have the trade she wants from him?

Blair is the student and Liam is the teacher. She is off limits to him, but he’s newly single and smitten with her. She’s sassy, intelligent, a straight A student, and he’s given her a D! She cant get him to change his mind, and she writes a letter to him that’s not intended for anyone’s eyes, but he finds it.
You have to read the book to see what’s in the letter, and the rest of the story. Recommended!

When Liam returned to school from break everyone could tell a mass difference. His girlfriend had broken up with him. When Blair got her test back with a rude comment written on it she wasn’t about to let Liam get away with it. Sparks fly between them as they spar back and forth over her test. Liam knows that now that he is single it’s going to be extremely hard avoiding temptation with Blair. When she tells him that she’s going to lose her virginity at a frat party he knows he can’t allow that. Slowly thing build between them until Liam doesn’t want to hold back anymore. Blair and Liam each have secrets about their private lives but will Blair’s tear them apart?
This is a great story once I started it I couldn’t put it down. The chemistry between them is off the charts hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Great story that kept me hooked throughout as I wanted to see what happened next. The relationship that developed between Liam and Blair never felt taboo or forbidden, but I found it odd how they were sometimes very public with their flirting etc when both of them were so insistent about not wanting to be found out. I also felt Blair came across as a little stalkerish at the start, and this didn’t seem to go with the other side of her where she’s supposedly shy and unsure. I did, however, enjoy this story and would recommend it for readers who want something ‘light’ and easy to read
Liam is a teacher not much older than his students. Blair is a student of his and attracted to him. Things get really steamy when Liam finds a sexy note that Blair wrote to him but never planned to deliver. This was a sexy, hot student-teacher romance.

This is another excellent steamy romance by an excellent romance author! Blair has the hots for her teacher. It turns out that Liam is also her brother’s best friend. Can their love survive their families? I received a gifted copy. I am voluntarily leaving an honest review. I honestly love this story and this author! Blair thinks that her professor is a Dream boat but gives her a D. Liam is only a grad student and wants Blair too!
I love this story! It is well written, very romantic, exciting, interesting, and exciting. There is drama, exceptional dialogue, witty banter and some laugh out loud moments. The main characters are amazing and perfect together; the intimacy between them is smoking hot and intense. The overlapping of characters from the previous book “Jingle Balls” adds to the high level of excitement and enjoyment. This book is guaranteed to knock your socks off. It could not have been better in my opinion. Definitely recommended.

If you’ve read Jingle Balls then you’ve already met Liam. I will admit to not liking him in Jingle Balls, but here in his own story, I loved him! He’s a professor who just had a disastrous breakup with his ex. But there’s this student in his class that he’s attracted to. A student he never intended on ever doing anything with, but then he found a letter not meant for his eyes. And suddenly that attraction? Yeah it was most definitely going to be consummated after that letter.
I really liked this professor/student story. It’s one of my favorite tropes and the author did a good job of executing it. It’s super steamy, it’s funny and witty and Liam and Blair are a great couple.
4.5
Liam’s not technically a professor, he’s a teaching assistant for Blair’s class. Blair is smart, top grades and loves to correct Liam and get him all riled up in class. Until she gets a D on a test. Liam is a hardcore romantic. When he falls, he falls hard. So he’s a softie at heart and always in search of what makes his heart flutter. And he’s got his eye on Blair and her fiery personality. What he doesn’t expect is Blair’s snarky not-for-his-eyes letter, which he accepts as a challenge. Nor does he expect how a potential relationship with her would affect other areas of his life.
I liked Blair. She had her moments of immaturity, but overall, she was determined to become her own person, regardless of what that cost her. And Liam was a refreshing alternative to the common alpha that is ever-present in romance.
Their story is fun and relatively light. Graham (Blair’s brother) added another layer to the story and the complexity to their relationship. The book was refreshing because it was far more than just the forbidden dynamics of their relationship. In fact, there was never an issue at the school about their relationship. They hid things (very badly at times lol), but there was no issue in this respect. This was more about family, friendship, and independence. The ending felt a tiny bit rushed and I would have absolutely loved finding out more about how things evolved with Liam’s relationship with Blair’s father and Graham (her brother).

I loved this naughty student/ “teacher” romance with a twist. From the first heated exchange between Blair and Liam the sizzling tension between them quickly grabbed my attention. I enjoyed the witty banter as they danced around each other and how neither could hide their interest. The unexpected twist and touch of drama thrown in their story had me rooting for them all the more. Full of humor and feels with an engaging storyline The D made for quite an enjoyable read.
The D by Vanessa Waltz is a
steamy romance between
college professor and his student. We first met Liam in Jingle Balls, he is Ronan’s brother. Blair is Liam’s student and has been fascinated by him since she started his class. He is attracted to her and wasn’t going to do anything until he read the red-hot letter that he found in Blair’s desk. After that, all bets were off. The twists are off the chain amazing!! I’m don’t want to ruin any spoilers for this fantastic book for anyone. I love the slow burn of how they took their time and then when they come together but when secrets come out and identities come to light, what’s going to happen to Liam and Blair? Will their relationship stand a chance or will their HEA end up DOA?
This is one hot story with great characters who have amazing chemistry. There is intense passion and heat between the main characters who will have you rooting for them to get their happily ever after.
My Rating: 4.5 *****
This is the first book that I’ve read by this author and it won’t be the last. I enjoyed the intriguing storyline and the characters. I loved the chemistry between Liam and Blair.
