Extremely moving and beautiful romance
I loved this story that seems to start as a classic romance, but evolves rather unexpectedly afterwards. The characters and their feelings are very well defined, I felt like I was with them.
Lee is looking for a man just for the night in a club, and she meets Kevin, who is a player who runs away from any relationship longer than a night. However, one by one, he is intrigued and attracted more than ordinary by this woman who has reactions and actions that he does not understand, and for good reason because she hides the real reason for her unusual behavior because she had only two sexual relations and always with her old boyfriend. One moment, she only wants to sleep with him and the other she recoils. When you understand Lee’s secret, the book becomes even more moving.

4 1/2 Stars
A bittersweet love story that began with a one night bar hookup. It was a first for Lee, who was getting over a breakup and needing to have one last fling before real life caught up to her. For Kevin, his normal stomping grounds started at the bar and ended in his bed with revolving partners that he used like tissue paper.
His feelings for Lee were unusually deeper than he normally experienced and he definitely was not ready for it to end.
I liked the way Kevin grew and matured after meeting and falling in love with Lee.
A well written, sweet, emotional love story.

That was some story. It started out funny then, went to sweet. It was well written and the storyline was spot on. The end was beautiful.

A player that experiences instalove and an inexperienced young lady that needs a night to remember. A twist to the story that you don’t expect.
This is the first book that I’ve read by this author and it won’t be the last. I so loved this book. The storyline is great and the characters are wonderful. I just love the chemistry between Kevin and Lee. They are so good together and I can’t wait to read more about them.

A one-night stand that turned into more! I liked this sweet and sexy read. It started as an insignificant night together that blossomed into more. But Lee isn’t your average girl, and she isn’t sure she’s fit to be in a long-term relationship with Kevin, who’s a total player until he meets someone like Lee. This took some good turns, and some good heartache, to get to the realization that maybe love can rule after all.
I received this book for free from EBook Discovery. I voluntarily review this book. This is my honest review. This is a really good book. The storyline is very well written and tugs at your heart. The main characters Lee and Kevin are very relatable, they just take you along for the ride.
This was a light, easy read. Lee and Kevin were interesting characters and it was easy to fall into this book until the end. I felt like the author could have given more background on what exactly made her distrustful from her previous relationship. It was mentioned and the ex came into play for about half a page. Could have left him out entirely or brought him in more. As it is it doesn’t really add to the story. I also felt like Lee’s dad could have been developed more. I enjoyed the book though and would recommend. I received this book for free from eBook Discovery. I voluntarily review this book. This is my honest review.
Solid 3.5 star, I really wanted to give it a 4 star but I just didn’t fully connect with the characters, Lee I did get, she was great, unsure of herself, hiding something but also trying to take control of her life. Kevin I felt I didn’t really get to know not until later in the book but he did redeem himself when things were exposed. Definitely a good read for a Saturday night with a glass of wine and maybe a tissue towards the end!

I really thought that from reading the synopsis that I would like this book but it was just average for me. I never give up on an author after reading one of their books for the first time so I’m more than giving these authors another try.

This book was a little on the juvenile side initially. The male lead was kinda a jerk but I liked his transformation in the end! The female lead was kinda weepy and insecure throughout but it’s explainable throughout the book. The sex scenes were super yummy and worth my initial annoyance at the main characters. There was also a preview of the next book in series, The Kisser, which really had me hooked!
In regards to editing, I literally only recall two instances where there were missing words! So not a bad job on that!
This is my first book from this author and I’m looking forward to reading more!
