Dylan’s heart lurches as his fantasy girl approaches the door to his father’s doctor’s office. He hasn’t seen Lennie Duncan since high school, and she’s only gotten sexier. Grinning like a fool he opens the door, and her cool gaze meets his. Damn, she still won’t give him the time of day. He tips his hat. It’s time to give her a reason to pay attention. There’s more than one way to make a girl … fall in love with him.
Lennie struggles to push her father’s wheelchair up the sidewalk’s steep incline toward his cardiologist’s office. Despite his stroke, her father is still a big man. Maneuvering through the heavy door is always a giant pain. Before she can tackle it, the door swings wide, and Dylan Govain steps out flashing that confident champion bronc rider’s grin. He’s grown into a man and so handsome she could spit. Why does it have to be this cowboy who sets her pulse racing? The Govain-Duncan feud goes back generations, and their daddies hate each other. No good will come of encouraging this cocky cowboy, yet, despite the fact that her father would kill her if he knew, she wonders what it would feel like to have this cowboy’s arms around her.
Circumstances keep throwing Dylan and Lennie together and, despite their feuding families, sparks fly. But Lennie’s heart has been cruelly crushed before and the last person she’ll trust it with is a Govain. Besides, she’s responsible for running her family’s failing cattle ranch now and dealing with a man in her life is the last thing she needs. Dylan has wanted Lennie since grade school and he’s done with waiting. She’s in trouble and he’ll find a way to help, despite her aversion to everything Govain. But, can Dylan’s love overcome her father’s fierce grip on a 150-year-old feud? Find out in this edgy, yet gentle love story set in the beautiful expanse of a West Texas cattle ranch.

Dylan had a secret crush on Lennie in school. Now she is back and the attraction is still there and seems to be mutual. However, the two families have been feuding for generations so romance seems impossible. They must choose between love and the family feud. This is the third book in the series but can be read as a stand-alone. This book is easy to read with great characters, romance and a wonderful location. I definitely recommend this book.

Dylan is home to help at the family ranch after his father’s heart attack. Lennie is struggling to keep her family ranch from drowning after her father’s stroke. When they accidentally run into each other, the spark is still there. Problem is, a 150 year feud between the families has kept them apart. But the hearts wants what it wants. They are sneaking around like teenagers as not to inflame either father. It’s a sweet true love will conquer all. At their age, they could just chuck it and run off, but they don’t. They are very determined to find a way but still consider and respect their fathers. I think that’s pretty noble in these times. Another good book about the Govain brothers.

The third entry in this series is a delightful read. Long time family feud interferes with the chance for love. The perseverance of Dylan to win Lennie’s heart is a remarkable journey toward the HEA. Each book in this series has been a pleasure to read with this one as the very best
This story is more than just a romantic kind of unrequited love that is able to bloom and grow once adulthood hits. It’s about being mature enough to take the tough road in order to live a life with the one you love. Many sacrifices and uncomfortable choices had to be made. As I was reading this, I worried and cringed at what I thought might happen. It was a mystery as to how Dylan and Lennie would ever come through this relationship without much anger and animosity towards each other. Overall it was a very satisfying read.
I received an advanced reader copy from the author in exchange for my volunteer review.
This was such a wonderful love story. I enjoyed it very much. The storyline was spot on and was well executed. I recommend it.

A delightful romance story with wonderful characters and a story line that pulls you in. Dylan and Lennie’s families don’t get along but their hearts want what their hearts want and that’s each other. Their journey to HEA from enemies to lovers is a delightful read. This is the first book I’ve read by this author and I will definitely look for more from her.

Book three in The Govain Cowboys series a well written story that kept me turning pages. This is Dylan Govain and Lennie Duncan an enemies to lovers story. I hope there is more to come in this series. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Cute story with Dylan and Lennie whose families own ranches next door to each other and have been feuding for years over said property. When they both return from college they start seeing each other in secret because of their families. This is a sweet romance with two people who belong together no matter what their family thinks.
Dylan Govain has returned from college and works at the family ranch. His father has a cardiologist appointment, and Dylan cannot believe his eyes when Lennie Duncan, his secret crush from high school, is there at the cardiologist’s office, pushing her father in a wheelchair for his checkup after a stroke!
Lennie has come home to a big responsibility. Because of her father’s recent stroke, she came back from college to handle the family ranch and help her mom take care of her dad. They have lots of debt from medical bills, having no insurance, and the devastating effect of a 10-year drought. But when she sees Dylan again, it’s obvious that the two of them still have an attraction for each other.
The two families have been engaged in a family feud that has lasted over 100 years. Her father hates the Govain family and would never allow her to date Dylan. Life keeps pushing Dylan and Lennie together, however. So if they choose to date, it must be in secret rather than risk Lennie’s father getting overly upset and having a setback. Are they willing to compromise like this? Will it end their relationship before one can build? Or is it perhaps time to end the ancient feud instead?
This is the third book in this great fun series and is another read that makes the characters feel like friends What happens when the only woman you have ever wanted is part of a family that has feuded with your family for generations
This is the situation that faces Dylan Govain he has returned to the family ranch after his father suffered a heart attack and this pouts him back int he vicinity of Lennie Duncan that daughter of a neighbouring rancher who has recently suffered a stroke This is the same family the Govain family has had a land dispute with for generations. So what can they do other than sneak around like teenagers to see one another but they will have to find a solution if they want to have something more permanent.
This is another new to me author (I have been reading a lot of those lately) and so far have not been disappointed once. This book is all about the power of love and the ability to find a solution no matter how insurmountable the obstacle may appear to be. I loved Dylan and his love for Lennie. He was the rock she needed and he was so sweet with her! Lennie is struggling to keep the family ranch going but seems to be sinking slowly (at times not so slowly) no matter what she does. This was a feel-good, heartfelt, there will always be a way, true-love story that will stay with the reader long after finishing it!
Now I need to read the first two books in this series!

Having been part of a family feud I could so relate to this story and Lennie and Dylan have a long, tough road to find their HEA – what a great afternoon read!

This is the third book in the series, but the first one that I have read. It did not disappoint in the slightest. Dylan Govain is shocked himself to see Lennie Duncan back in their small town. She left years ago and took a piece of his heart with her. Now she’s back and ready to fight. Lennie was called home to help after her father fell ill and Dylan is the one standing in her line of fire as she tries to save the family ranch. And even though she has anger in her eyes towards him, she also has intense feelings in her heart for him that she has been keeping to herself since high school. When the two decide to start working together, the story is nothing if not pure heart melting magic!! I loved it!!

This story is the last in a trilogy? I don´t know as I didn´t read the previous stories, but I wish I had known that a lot earlier and that I had read them also as this one is really good. It is well written and characterization is absolutely smashing. I enjoyed reading this one very much and am very happy to give this story fantastic four stars.

Dylan and Lennie’s families have been feuding for 150 years over property ownership. She graduates from college, and comes home to run the ranch after her dad’s stroke. With no health insurance, they have financial problems, and a lot of deferred maintenance on parts of the ranch. Dylan comes home after college, and is working on the family ranch for the summer. But he’s got his dream job lined up – to teach agricultural management at the local high school. He’s liked Lennie since they were in grade school. But the feud… They begin dating, going to great lengths to make sure that their families don’t find out. I love their story, and watching them find their love. They do love to tease each other – the banter between them is hilarious at times, so loving at others. I missed the second book in the series, and will play catch-up shortly, but am falling in love with the Govain family.
I received an advanced copy of this book from the author. However, this review is voluntary and my honest opinion.
Story about third brother: Dylan. When he sees Lennie, his heart starts to beat faster. With the feud about land between their families, future for them being together, do not look promising.
Great story, loved Dylan and Lennie.
