They joined forces to destroy a relationship, not start one of their own …
Rodeo cowboy Chase Thatcher knows his mother deserves to have romance in her life. Just not now. Not so soon after his father’s death. Plus, the man she met while traveling just seems…shady. So it only makes sense to hire an investigator and dig up whatever dirt he can on the guy. What he never expected to find, … find, however, was the man’s fiery and entirely too beautiful daughter. . .
Renata Ricci isn’t exactly thrilled with her estranged father’s new love affair, either. The last thing she needs is some gold-digger stealing her family’s money. She’ll put an end to this nonsense if it’s the last thing she ever does. If only she could focus and keep her mind off the fiercely loyal and distractingly handsome Chase. . .
It’s not long before Chase and Renata realize there’s more between them than they ever would’ve thought possible. But can they overcome the secrets and lies their relationship was built on to find their way to happily ever after? Or are they destined to go their separate ways?

Wow this book comes out hitting hard. From the start you are in the middle of family drama that only begins because they care so much.
When Cora mentioned she had a special friend, Chase became overly protective of his mother, so much that he was willing to look into the gentlemen. In the process he met his daughter, Renata. She came to America to to stop her father’s relationship. As truths are reviled and lies are uncovered, Chase and Revata both shared the pain of loosing a parent and what it would mean for Cora and Marcello to get together and their own insecurities of being forgotten.
End the end they both just wanted Cora and Marcello to be happy, and in the process they found their own happiness.
This book is a sweet story that you will not be able to put down.

Another great addition to the Brother’s of Thatcher Ranch series! This book focuses on Chase and his concern about his mother. His mother, a widow, is dating a man that Chase has his doubts about. The man’s daughter, Renata, has her own concerns as well. Ultimately, their concern for their respective parent is what brings them together. The dynamics between the two was wonderful. The chemistry between them was definitely undeniable. It was great to see the love between these two grow. This was a very well written story and I can’t wait to read the next one!

Chase is not happy when his mother comes home talking about her “special friend” so he tells her he is worried about her being taken advantage by this man Marcello from Italy but she tells him to stay out of her business. When he checks up Marcello online he gets a message from his daughter Renata telling him stay away from her father but then they decide to join forces and put a stop to their parents romance. The only thing is when she comes to America to help him they have an unexpected venture and attraction which all blows up in their faces as they confront their parents.
I volunteered to read this ARC for an honest review. I enjoyed this story about Chase and Renata. Chase is worried about his mom. She’s been traveling and when she came home, she’s told her boys about her special friend. Chase becomes overly protective and is determined too prove Marcello will hurt Cora. Renata wants her father’s attention again. As they try to work together to break up their parents, they survive a wreck, an injury and a wild horse ride. Seems after the rain everything will grow, cc including love.

This is a great series about the Thatcher family. This story focuses on Chase and his concern for his mother. His mother is a recent widow and starts a relationship with a man. Not only is Chase concerned, the man’s daughter is too! She contacts Chase and you must read to find out what they find during their investigation and how relationships develop.
Great story of letting go, faith, hope, being happy and the love of family. Chase believes the man in his moms life is using her for her money and he intends to stop this from happening. Instead of listening to his mom, he starts having her new boyfriend investigated. But what was meant to protect his mom only ends up making it worse and proving him wrong.

Blinded by his need to protect his mother, Chase looks for any excuse to separate her from her special friend. Finding a compatriot in Renata, they work together towards that goal, only to find that everything is not as it seems. A powerful lesson in humility and forgiveness.
Chase and Renata decide to work together to break up his mother and her father. From their first conversations she came off as a self centered spoiled brat and their meeting at the airport and drive back to the ranch reinforced that impression. When he crashes his truck to avoid hitting a deer and they are stranded and she sprains her ankle she shows a softer side. It was a little unbelievable that he just happens to catch a wild horse and tame it enough to ride back to the ranch. But when it’s revealed that she has lied about her true motives Chase doesn’t know what to believe. This was clean, but rocky romance with some funny moments.
Peace out of havoc.
Just looking at the cover you get the idea that this cowboy will not stop till he gets his way. Chase is like most adult children it is hard to see a parent move on after a death. Renata, on the other hand, thinks the lady her dad wants is a gold digger and he does not matter if she gets along with her dad or not. She and Chase team up to stop the wedding but good old fate has another idea. It was a good story that showed acceptance is something we all need to learn from time to time. This is a great book to recommend it was so worth the time to read. I did receive a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.
I absolutely loved this book and was honored to have been able to read and review. It was such a phenomenal read and had amazing characters as well as an amazing story line. I just could not get enough of it and once I started reading it I could not put it down. I recommend that you read it.

This was a great book about protecting your loved ones but also that you gotta trust. Just because someone looses their loved one doesn’t mean that they can’t find love again. Sometimes you gotta trust the one you love (parent, sibling or whoever) to make the right choices. I loved how the family sticks together and even though they were hurt and angry they realize it wasn’t done to be hurtful.
Can’t wait for more. I received this as an ARC and this is my honest and voluntary review.

This is the first book by April Murdock that I have read and I though it was fun. I really liked the characters. I loved how protective of his mom Chase was and I loved how he was willing to admit that he was wrong. I liked the dynamic between Ranata and Chase. I love how they started out hating each other and were only planning to use each other to get what they wanted but as they got to know each other they fell in love. Really a cute story and I look forward to reading the other books in this series.
I received a complimentary book from publishers, publicists, and or authors. A review was not required and all opinions and ideas expressed are my own.
April Murdock continues with the Thatcher Brothers series. Chase, the younger of the twins, is very protective of his mother. His good intentions could have had disastrous results but his upbringing and loving mother and family keep that from happening. His attitude is understandable. This is a very sweet story and I foresee an interesting future for Chase.
