Julianna Norrell’s dream of leaving Montana for big city life in NYC was wonderful—until it all went bust. She’d tempted fate by getting a fine arts degree in photography, and believing one brilliant show would make her career take off. But three years later she’s a borderline starving artist, making a living off of stock art photography. Plus, she’s just been on the wrong side of a copyright … infringement case and no gallery in New York will touch her. Se when her mother seriously breaks her leg at the same time Julianna gives up her lease, it seems fate is pulling her back to where she started: Cooper Ranch.
Wright Cooper has come home to lick his wounds. After being a major fundraiser in a failed political run, most of America has started to hate his guts, and Wright himself is beginning to wonder when he’d stopped vetting his politician’s ideas and simply started funding them. Now, he’s home to dust off his boots and find himself again in the beautiful land that had made him want to enact change for his country in the first place.
When the two childhood sweethearts suddenly find themselves living under the same roof, they’ll need to decide if they’re coming home for good, or simply stopping over before losing each other once again.

Juliana and Wright were high school sweethearts but when they graduated their career paths took them in different directions. However when neither is where they thought they’d be. Juliana comes back home to help her mother out on the ranch and Wright seizes the opportunity to win her back. Its not long before they give into temptation and end up in bed together. Will Wright be able to convince her to give him a chance and stay?
This is a great story once I started it I couldn’t put it down. The chemistry between them is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Julianna Norrell has returned to the Cooper Ranch to take care of her mother who is the housekeeper for the Cooper men. This was not what she planned as she had been living in New York City to promote her photography. Now due to an unforeseen disaster with her career, this was a good time to help her mother and reevaluate her life. Wright Cooper is working through the same type of issues as the candidate he was promoting for governor was found to be embezzling funds from the campaign. His world has fallen apart and he seems to be taking the blame for the candidate and has become a pariah in the political arena. Wright is back at the Cooper Ranch to reevaluate his career and is thrilled that Julianna has returned to town…and to him? Wright and Julianna have always been attracted to each other and now they will join forces to get their lives back on track. My only negative critique would be that I felt Wright spent too much time obsessing about his loss when with unlimited funds he could have moved on to something sooner. Although I enjoyed the first two books more, I thought this was a pleasant addition to the series. I received a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to give an honest review. (by paytonpuppy)
“The Cowboy’s Stubborn Sweetheart” Is Hardheaded Enough For Two!
They both are a bit hard headed,
Cuz when they get an idea locked into that noggin’…
Well.. There’s NOT much but a bit O’ C4 that’s gonna DO the joggin’,
To change their Minds onto another Path!
Unless, that is, Everythin’ ’round them Starts fallin’ apart!
It’s that Wake Up from H€LL that finally Rings a Bell,
AND brings these TWO to terms with some TRUTHS!
Maybe it’ll be too LATE, or maybe they’ll accept their FATE…
It’s a Stubborn Cowboy Matched Up & givin’ it another TRY with “The Cowboy’s Stubborn Sweetheart!”
I was granted an ARC of Leslie North’s “The Cowboy’s Stubborn Sweetheart (Brothers of Cooper Ranch Book 3)” via Booksprout; I recommend this book to others based upon its own merits. All opinions expressed within this review are uniquely my own & freely given!
Until next time… Happy Reading!
Very good second chance.romance. A lot of drama and angst while the characters both work through bouts of low esteem. A real page turner on the way to the HEA.
Childhood sweethearts and in love, Wright and Juliana wanted different things in life as they grew up. Both left Montana to pursue their dreams, but come back home for different reasons. Their story is romantic and healing as they find out what is most important to them and find their way back to each other. Careers may come and go, or even change, but coming home and finding love again is always sweet. An emotional story, Leslie North always gives the reader the heartwarming HEA we look for. I would like to thank Booksprout for gifting me “The Cowboy’s Stubborn Sweetheart”. My opinion is my own. This is mine. 4.25 Stars!
Quick enjoyable read
The Cowboy’s Stubborn Sweetheart by Leslie North is a second chance love story of two people, Wright and Julianna, who grew up together on the same ranch in Montana, became high school sweethearts then went their separate ways pursuing fame and fortune. Julianna dreamed of becoming a famous photographer in NCY and Wright became a top notch fundraiser for important people in the world of politics. Both experience career shattering events, of which they were each innocent, but the damage had been done. When they each return “home” to the ranch in Montana the spark they once had is still there. The back and forth of trying to figure out where they stand is sometimes a bit annoying but their chemistry is ardent and their love scenes steamy. Julianna wants to return to New York once her mother had recuperated, will Wright be able to convince her that she really will be happy being the wife of a rancher? The story is well written and will keep you turning the pages until the end. I recommend this book.

This was a charming story but I also have to say that it didn’t quite grab me as much as I had hoped. And that really hurts to say because I have read other books by this author and liked them. I really had a hard time coming up with a rating for this book. I waffled between 3.5 and 4 Stars on this book for Amazon. I finally decided on 4 stars because I did like it but with some reservations.
On the plus side I have to say that both of the M.C.’s had strong personalities and strong focus on what they wanted, career-wise. It was great to read how far back their relationship went before everything went south.
It was a nice touch about how sexy Wright was with his wearing glasses. You don’t always see that in a story and I liked the uniqueness of it. There were times when Julianna noticed how his awkwardness was unbearably sweet especially when he was so often alpha aggressive in his lovemaking.
I really liked that Julianna really put her finger on the truth for Wright. When she said that the political field that he was so interested in backing was just using him for his money. She just couldn’t get him to see it and that he could help his beloved Montana in other ways, that flew right over his head for quite a while.
I did like the ending and there is a H.E.A.
I voluntarily read an ARC via Netgalley and this is my honest opinion of it.
When you grow up in a small community you have 1 of 2 reactions to flee as fast you can or to stay and preserve your community. In this story the heroine flees and leave her childhood friend and love in the dust. When she returns she is forced to face her decision as she was not as successful as she would have liked while her guy is also in need of time away for the big city and bright lights. they find themselves in the same environment as when they were younger and trying to decide if nostalgia is enough to bring them back together. This a cute quick and sweet romance about working things out with the one who has always had your heart no matter where you go!

ARC given by author. I am giving my review completely volunterly.
The Cowboys Stubborn Sweetheart by Leslie North. This is the 3rd book in The Brothers of Cooper Ranch series.
I gave this book 4 1/5 stars.
I really liked Wright & Julianna’s love story….they were boyfriend and girlfriend when they were young.
Wright Cooper has come home. After being a major fundraiser contributor, one failed political run, most of America has started bad mouth him(not his fault, he didn’t do anything wrong) Wright himself is beginning to wonder when he’d stopped vetting his politician’s ideas and simply started just funding them. He has lost his selfbelieve, has doughts if he is capable of fundraising again. He loves Montana and his wish was always to support his State politically through his money as a billionaire.
Julianna Norrell’s dream of leaving Montana for big city life in NYC was wonderful—until it all went bust. She’d tempted fate by getting a fine arts degree in photography, and believing one brilliant show would make her career take off. Her life is photography, but three years later she’s a borderline starving artist, making a living off of stock art photography. Plus, she’s just been on the wrong side of a copyright infringement case and no gallery in New York will touch her.
It seems fate is pulling her back to where she started, she needs to help out her mom.
She’s back at Cooper Ranch, and so is Wright both liking their wounds. These two childhood sweethearts suddenly find themselves living under the same roof, will destiny finally give them that second chance at love in Cooper Ranch, or will Jillianna go back to her big city life? and leave and Wright broken hearted again?
This was a sweet romance novel, full of love, low self-esteem, reinventing oneself to rise above negative, life throws at us all the time. Life’s a direct link with nature, without that we can’t survive. After a few bumps in the road, these two do find their HEA.
Leslie North our epilogue ended too soon…..ugh. I need just a little more….not fair, what did she say???
I LOVE honey
So we meet Julian and Wright who had big dreams and unfortunately for them they did not work out. Or is it unfortunate? because while they both came home to start over they meet and now they have a chance for a different dream, will they be smart enough to dry this avenue instead?

The Cowboy’s Stubborn Sweetheart is the third and final story in Leslie North’s Brothers of Cooper Ranch and a wonderful epilogue to this billionaire rancher series.
Wright Cooper is like a ship without a rudder; striving to commit to something meaningful that will benefit his beloved Montana, but finding that his best intentions, plus his money lead to deceit and corruption. Left feeling meaningless and lacking direction, he enlists the help of his long, lost love, Julianna.
Julianna has returned to Montana against her better judgement; licking her wounds after a disastrous venture in New York, and to fill in for her injured mother as the Cooper’s housekeeper. But why on earth does Wright Copper need to be right there at her every turn?
This was definitely my favourite story of the trilogy. The plot was light and serious at the same time, and the characters were real and believable. I liked the pace of the story and the underlying message to not lose sight of what makes you happy in your quest to make a difference. Ms North churns out these stories incredibly fast, but she never fails to keep her readers entertained and always wanting more.
The Cowboys Stubborn Sweetheart was a well written fun and entertaining story. The characters are very interesting and each are somewhat stubborn , you have Wright Cooper and Julianna Norrell they were once sweethearts who went their separate ways, now both have come home after some failures in their professional lives. When they come face to face this is where the real fun starts. This is Book 3 of the Brothers of Cooper Ranch series and I thought it was well written and it can be read as a standalone.

Emotionally thrilling, sexy sweet, gripping and heartwarming small town romance that has it all, love, laughter, family and undeniable passion… great reading that kept me entertained for hours. Really enjoyed this series.
Solid 3.5 star
Wright and Juliana have known each other forever, they were in love and both wanted successful careers however she left to pursue a career that wasn’t in Montana. Both end up back at the ranch licking their wounds due to scandals about their separate careers, now they not only have to work out how to revive their careers but also try and work out what to do about each others attraction. There is plenty of sexual tension, frustration at them not communicating properly and wanting them to work out and wondering if they will ever see they are meant for each other. I do wish we got to see more of the other brothers in each book along with their partners as it makes it feel like the ranch is so big no one sees each other or they aren’t really that close of family.

This was a wonderful story. I adored Wright Cooper and Julianna Norell’s story. I haven’t read the other stories in this series and it wasn’t necessary in order to read this one. I read this story in one sitting. The book was written in my favorite dual POV format. It really helps me as a reader to understand the characters’ thoughts versus their actions.
These two were perfect for each other and were really trying to help each other but not really getting much success. I was totally enthralled in this story and recommend it to anyone.
An absolutely fantastic well written and emotionally deep second chance romance! The storyline is flawless, funny, witty, and very interesting. The story flows smoothly and moves along at a brisk pace with some ups and downs, intrigue, and a mix of emotion on every page. The chemistry between Julianna and Wright is intense and their sex scenes are well-written and HOT! This book met all of my expectations and then some! From start to finish I was held captivated with the overall quality, the wonderful story line, and the very interesting characters. A really passionate and exciting read! Definitely recommended.
