Julianna Norrell’s dream of leaving Montana for big city life in NYC was wonderful—until it all went bust. She’d tempted fate by getting a fine arts degree in photography, and believing one brilliant show would make her career take off. But three years later she’s a borderline starving artist, making a living off of stock art photography. Plus, she’s just been on the wrong side of a copyright … infringement case and no gallery in New York will touch her. Se when her mother seriously breaks her leg at the same time Julianna gives up her lease, it seems fate is pulling her back to where she started: Cooper Ranch.
Wright Cooper has come home to lick his wounds. After being a major fundraiser in a failed political run, most of America has started to hate his guts, and Wright himself is beginning to wonder when he’d stopped vetting his politician’s ideas and simply started funding them. Now, he’s home to dust off his boots and find himself again in the beautiful land that had made him want to enact change for his country in the first place.
When the two childhood sweethearts suddenly find themselves living under the same roof, they’ll need to decide if they’re coming home for good, or simply stopping over before losing each other once again.

There is more than just a second chance at romance for Julianna and Wright.
The chemistry between the characters is great, however it felt like something was missing from the story especially on Julianna’s side.
This is a great, quick read.

I enjoyed this book. An engaging romance about two people that return home to lick their wounds after their dreams have failed and life plans have gone awry. I liked Wright and Julianna grew on me. Wright and Julianna’s second chance story offers some sweetness, a bit of fun, some drama and quite a lot of emotional turmoil. A solid good read.
This is book 3 in The Brothers of Cooper Ranch series and it features Wright and Julianna. This is a second chance romance that we know is full of love because of their past. It’s also about learning who each other has grown into and what drives them. What makes them happy and passionate. These two definitely have their work cut out for them because they are no longer who they were back in high school.
In my opinion, of the 3 books in this series, this story has better structure and a fuller story line. The only thing I didn’t like was that Wright isn’t much of a cowboy…AT ALL! Oh well. I’m still looking forward to reading more from this author.
Wright Cooper has made several colossal mistakes. He’s fallen from political grace (his candidate was embezzling). He took another girl to prom, not his girlfriend Julianna.
Wright is home to lick his wounds.
Julianna is home to help clean as her mother broke her leg.
She’s living in New York as a photographer.
Wright (love the glasses- so hot) asks her to help him host some political functions.
She helps him, despite her wanting to be in NY and Wright in Montana.

The Montana Romance Angle Delivers
The Cowboy’s Sweetheart is Book 3 of the Brothers of Cooper Ranch Series and completes the three book series. This storyline follows the brother, bespectacled Winston who has been is love with the housekeeper’s daughter, Julianna, a noted photographer. She has just moved back to the ranch to help out her injured mom while she recovers.
Being back in the home Winston and Julianna are reacquainted with each other’s strengths and weaknesses, how they can help each other as they both are going through some transitions. The question is, will that result in them staying put or moving on? Together or solo?
This was a fitting conclusion and overall a great series. The one issue is the lack of interaction between the brothers/family, and that was a shame…a missed opportunity really.
Definitely recommending this book for your reading pleasure and enjoyment. I am volunteering to leave a review of this advanced review book.
Wright Cooper and Julianna Norrell were childhood sweethearts. They end up Home again in Montana after their careers go bust. Julianna’s mother Andrea was the Coopers maid. When she breaks her leg Julianna came home to help her out. Wright came home after a political fundraiser goes bad, They both have to decide what to do with theirs lives. Wright is a billionaire who is always trying to help others. The chemistry is still strong between them. This is their second chance. After an argument Julianna goes back to New York to what she thought was her dream job. HEA No cliffhanger.

This was a marvelous story. The growth of this couple was awesome to read. I loved it. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book in exchange for a free copy.
Even though this was a second chance romance, both Wright and Julianna had to individually redirect their lives in an attempt for a HEA. Good storyline and strong characters made this a really good read.

If life doesn’t kill with heartache, it inspires through courage. Sort of like a Leslie North novel. The Cowboy’s Stubborn Sweetheart is not a lick your wounds, cry in your coffee kind of tale. It’s a pick yourself up by the bootstraps and start all over again one. Juliana and Wright have both been knocked down by life, but despite the disappointment, their hearts won’t let failure win. I love the message behind this battle of hearts and war of wills. When life gets too real and the pain runs deep, never give up on yourself, always and forever believe. Words have power and North proves just how much.
This is entertaining, dramatic and romantic. Wright is naive, determined, bold, impulsive and caring. Julianna is stubborn, independent and snarky. They were childhood sweethearts very much in love, but they wanted different things. He was happy staying in Montana, she wanted to be in N.Y. When Julianna comes back to the ranch to fill in for her mother, Wright does everything he can think of to win her back. She can only resist for so long, and they end up falling into bed. They both were shaken by disappointing endeavors, and they each decided to help the other get their confidence back. Wright is such a great guy, Julianna is a little quick to judge, but they do make a great couple.
