Trent Thompson has carried a torch for the new schoolteacher since she moved to Grass Valley more than three years ago. Instead of asking her out, he’s dated every single female in a thirty-mile radius, giving her the impression he’s not interested in her at all.
Lindsay Pierce moved to Grass Valley to teach and quickly fell in love with the small community as well as the delightful people who … people who live there. Everyone welcomes her warmly except for one obnoxious cowboy who goes out of his way to ignore her.
Will Trent be able to maintain the pretense when he has to babysit his niece, who happens to be in Lindsay’s class? Romance is in the air as spring fever hits the Triple T Ranch!
more
Trent, the middle of the three Thompson brothers, has wanted to ask out Lindsay Pierce, Cass’s kindergarten teacher, ever since she moved to Grass Valley three years ago. Every time he gets around her though, he loses his nerve and makes lame jokes instead. Misunderstanding and hurt by his behavior, Lindsay tries to avoid Trent and not reveal her feelings about him.
The Cowboy’s Spring Romance, Book 2 of Grass Valley Cowboys, starts a month after Trey and Cady’s story. While they are away on their honeymoon, Trent and his brother Travis are in charge of babysitting Cass which Shanna Hatfield uses to begin another hilarious and sweet romance. Readers are in for a treat to see an unexpected side of Trent as well as more of the rest of the family.
I won a Kindle copy of this book. I volunteered to read it and write a review.
Sweet story. Realistic characters. Clean and romantic.
Just love this Christian romance.
What a sensational and phenomenal book!
Shanna Hatfield’s – The Cowboy’s Spring Romance was a delightful escape back to The Triple T Ranch.
This is the best book, it catapulted to the top of my favorite contemporary books, of all time.
Trent and Lindsey were the most fun-loving couple, but little Cass stole my heart.
Add in Trey, Cady, Travis, and all the Triple T Ranch hands, who embrace family values, as God intended.
Hats off to Shanna Hatfield for such a beautiful love story with laughter, tears, acceptance, and most of all, LOVE.
Two brothers take care of a 5 year old niece, while her adopted parents went on their honeymoon. A relationship builds between the teacher and brother. Good story!
Sweet story.
It was so funny in places I woke my husband up laughing. I love every book I had read by Shanna Hatfield. There are 6 books in this series they are all great! I would recommend starting with the first one this book is the second in the series.
Sweet story, likable characters – a really good read.
A good clean story!
It was funny and entertaining….I read the first 3 books…
Lots of laughs but pushes decency to the line
I read this book quickly. I had read the first book and enjoyed the continuation of the characters. Couldn’t put it down.
A nice Cowboy romance that was a little predictable but still held my interest. A good relaxing summer read.
entertaining
A good read for a feel good story with a happy ending, especially after I’ve been reading something that has heavy struggles.
Fun with some depth. Although the book was sex free the steamy passion was unnecessary and too much of the book was steamy.
Easy read
What I like most about this book is the way they overcame their fear of taking the risks that eventually brought them to one another. A fiercely independent woman figures out how to trust a strong successful man. He figures out how to correct his desire to “do everything for her” and love her without controlling her. Both must overcome the pain from their past to love each other freely and be together.
Light hearted
THE COWBOY’S SPRING ROMANCE
I truly enjoyed reading this book!
It’s a feel-good, funny & moving story.
Great characters, romance & small
town charm make it the perfect read.
Trent & Lindsey, had not hit it off since
the first day they met.
He’s torn by his attraction to her.
But her feeling slowly start to change
for him.
Another wonderful book in series!
I loved everything about it!!
Boy Ms. Hatfield is always at the top of her game. She writes the most wonderful romance stories I think I have ever read. From the first word it pulls you right in and leaves you wanting more throughout the entire story.
This is the third story in the Grass Valley Romances.
Trent the second oldest is after the new school teacher who has avoided him for two years. He needs a whole new game plan but he is always tongue tied and when he talks it’s always the wrong thing, he says to her.
Lindsey is tall and athletic and beautiful and as she watches Trent bring his niece to her class everyday she starts to see a different side to this ruggedly handsome man.
He thinks she is just perfect for him and decides to start a new with her. The first date they go one is a wonderful one that she was thrilled with and decides he’s not so bad after all.
This is another must read in the of the Thompson men at the Triple T Ranch in Grass Valley, OR. It’s a page turner for sure.
I loved this book.
