I enjoyed the characters and the reality show setting. The love part came in an unexpected place. I look forward to more in this series.
A fun book to read, that I’m sure I’ll read again!
A Cowboy (Tyler Hall) wants to find a wife, but keeps frustrated when he dates. Taking a best friend’s wife’s suggestion, he applies for a Reality Bride show, and is accepted. Unlike any reality show I’ve heard of, he ends up falling for someone working for the show. She is his match, he is sure. This is a really good Christian based book, and I highly recommend it!
An enjoyable well written clean romance with a delightful storyline as they put their faith in God. The characters are interesting, relateable, likeable and have a great connection with great intereactions. A smooth flowing sloryline that keeps the action flowing, and has plenty of laughing to keeping you engaged all the way to a delightfully satisfying HEA. I voluntarily reviewed this ARC.
When an everyday cowboy gets pushed into applying for the spot on Will You Marry A Cowboy reality show, he did it just to make his friend happy. But when Tyler was chosen, his world was about to change forever. He took his worries to God in prayer and he felt it was the right thing to do.
When a out of work makeup artist assistant is called by an old friend to do the make up on the reality show it could not have came at a better time. But when Laney was asked in the middle of the season to become a contestant and move into the house with the women viaing for Tyler’s affection, she was unsure of what to do. She took her worries to God in prayer and felt it was the right thing to do if she wanted a chance at Tyler.
This book is an emotional rollercoaster for Tyler and the women that had been selected for the show. But Tyler decided Hollywood was not putting women around him that there was no way he wanted in his life so he changed the reality show rules to fit his needs instead which leads to a change of how this would play out in the end all because he took his fears to God in prayer which gave him the strength he needed to make the right choice.
I’ve often wondered how they get people to appear on those dating/marriage shows. I can’t imagine why anyone would put themselves through that experience. When I chose to buy this novel, it was because I had read one of Lorana’s previous book, Where It All Began, and loved her work.
Laney who had recently lost her job agreed to take employment as a makeup artist for a reality show, Who Wants To Marry a Cowboy? Tyler Hall, a cowboy facing dire straits due to a bad year for his ranch, was talked into applying to the show by close friends. Despite the fact that employees were to have limited contact with the cowboy, Laney soon discovered a growing attraction for Tyler. Tyler’s faith dictated his rejection of some of the twenty women in his “dating pool.”
I greatly enjoyed this story of how God works in often the strangest ways to bring about His purposes.
In the hands of less able storytellers this story might become trite and a bit overblown. not so with Ms. hoopes. The story keeps the action flowing and the characters developing into a delightful ending that totally satisfies. I heartily recommend this book.
Tyler is a contestant in a reality show. He wants to get married but can’t find the one. When a friend encourages him to sign up he does and is very surprised that he got chosen. When he meets Laney he’s disappointed that she isn’t a contestant but his makeup artist. Does he really need to choose one of the other ladies when he only wants Laney?
This is a fun story with a little of the background of reality shows but Tyler is not a typical contestant. Read this story to discover in what way he’s different.
Lorana Hoopes never fails when writing great stories.
I loved this book.
The characters are just like my friends and the plot was great.
Romance, humor and real feelings all in one book.
The Cowboy’s Reality Bride is a fun-filled story that will take you through the twists and turns of a reality dating show. It has a cowboy with a heart of gold and a heroine you will want to root for.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I have read a lot of Ms. Hoopes’ books but this one was a little different. It was very sweet and I loved the premise of the reality dating show. It was nice to see how Laney & Tyler’s relationship progressed and how they kept God at the center. Very good read!
I received a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.
I had an advance reader’s copy of this book. Lorana chose me as part of her advance readers group, but this review is my honest opinion of the book. It is a well written book which gives insight into the behind the scenes aspects of a reality TV show that I had never considered, with all the twists and turns one might expect from that. I enjoyed the characters and the story development, and would highly recommend the book.
Totally enjoyable sweet Christian love story with great characters. Fun moments with a behind the scenes look at reality show . I was given a free ARC by the author. My review is freely and honestly given
Such a fun story and I loved the twists! Wonderful clean and sweet romance. Great story! I recommend it.
Another great story by Lorena Hoopes. In this one she goes behind the scenes of a reality tv dating show like the bachelor with a Cowboy. Tyler flips the script and falls in love with his makeup artist but it works out in the end. I loved this sweet Christian story. I highly recommend.
What a sweet story and one that is a twist on things to me at least. I loved the interaction between all the characters and the world build was great. Don’t miss this one is fantastic!
I enjoyed this book! The boy and girl both had doubts and questions about their feelings for each other but eventually worked it all out. I recommend this book to anyone who likes romance books!
A well written inspirational romance. Good plot and well developed characters. I look forward to reading more books in this series
This was a great read by the author. She has written another clean and Christian contemporary romance. Nowadays somewhat hard to find, so I am always grateful for that. It was a well written book and I loved the characters and I highly recommend this book. I will be reading more from this author. Excellent!
I received an ebook copy from the author. All thoughts are my own.
The Cowboy’s Reality Brides is a fun, clean, Christian romance. Lorana Hoopes writes the best stories and characters. Laney and Tyler were both true to their faith. They asked God what he wanted for them – and they listened. There are many laughable moments with klutzy Laney especially. This is another great story from Ms. Hoopes. It is one I will read again!
This was a cute take on “The Bachelor” reality TV show. I liked that Tyler was a Christian and that he was looking for someone that shared his values and would be happy living on his ranch in a real relationship and not just one for a publicity stunt. Laney was never really happy trying to be someone that she thought would fit in with the popular kids from high school. It took being a part of this show and meeting Tyler and his friends from home to find out what really made her happy.
