Lorana Hoopes did it again! I really liked her story which is based somewhat on the show, The Bachelor. The characters are so much fun!
Laney Swann is a cute, very klutzy girl who falls right into the arms of the next bachelor only she is not a contestant on the show, Who Wants to Marry a Cowboy. She is the show’s makeup artist and will be specifically working on the cowboy. It is fun to watch her try to find herself after having lost her job in New York.
Tyler Hall is a sexy rancher who just wants to find a nice girl to marry and only agrees to do the show for the money. His best friend’s wife put him up to it. He is also a recovering alcoholic. I like how he changes up the rules on the show. Unlike The Bachelor when sparks fly between these two they have faith in God and put God’s will before their own which should give them a firm, marriage based in faith. Maybe reality shows could learn a lesson from this. I received an advance copy of this book and I willingly chose to write an honest review.
This was a very sweet and clean romance with strong Christian based values throughout {tastefully written}. The main couple, Laney and Tyler, had many of the same values and both came from Texas, although Mandy left for the big city after graduation. A very interesting look at Reality t.v. shows, especially the dating ones. Strong characters with special friendships add a warm feeling to this story. I would recommend this book as a pleasant and easy read.
I received an ARC copy of this book. This is my voluntary and honest review with my own personal thoughts and opinions.

The Cowboy’s Reality Bride, written by Lorana Hoopes, is the first book in The Blushing Bride Series. The story is a cute, comical look at reality TV. The main characters, Tyler and Laney, don’t watch reality TV and are unaware of all the things that go into making a television show. Some would say that Tyler and Laney were naïve and their expectations totally unrealistic. I found The Cowboy’s Reality Bride very enjoyable. I liked how the author spun the story. The plotline was realistic and seemed similar to most of today’s reality dating shows. The book is clean with no explicit language or sexual content. Also, the book is an easy read; only about 150 pages, and can be read in one evening. As with all of Ms. Hoopes books, there is a HEA ending.
Lorana Hoopes managed to write a happily ever after that you want to read to make sure it really happens. There are lot of factors and problems in play before the end and you keep reading to make sure it happens. The book contains a few twists and the characters are so well described that you can think of people you know that are like that. A totally enjoyable book.
Ever wonder what it is like behind the scenes in a reality TV show? This one gives you a view behind the scenes and the pressures that the contestants and people working on a reality TV show go through. Also you get to see what some producers will do for ratings. This was a different kind of read, but a very enjoyable one. You should check it out for yourself. I have enjoyed all of the books that I have read by this author, so check this one out or any of her others. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
I received an ARC of this book from the author, Lorana Hoopes, and this is my voluntary and honest review. This is a beautiful and heartwarming love story between Laney and Tyler who met on a TV reality show. This is an entertaining and good Christian romance story. Like all books that I have read by this author, she lets her Christian beliefs shine through her characters.
Very cute, clean Christian Romance
This is a fun romance set on a reality show. It is a sweet, clean and Christian romance that is sure to bring many smiles to your face. The author has seen fit to write an epilogue that is free to those who buy the book only, not to those who get the book for free. That is a cheap shot! I received this ARC for free and this is my honest review.
I am not a fan of reality TV shows, that being said I loved this book. The characters were believable and the situations very convincing.
This was a different take on the romance story, with all the drama we like on the way toward the HEA.
DON’T MISS THIS ONE.
I received an Advance Reader Copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
Lorana Hoopes has become one of the authors I know I can count on for a sweet, clean, interesting story and The Cowboys Reality Bride was no exception. Considering the fact that I never watch reality shows like in this book, the five star rating should tell you that even with the reality show in the background the developing relationship between Tyler and Laney was written very well. I honestly could picture the characters, especially Justin – UGH! I especially liked the fact that neither Tyler nor Laney were shy or embarrassed about their belief in God and when problems came up or decisions needed to be made both prayed for help with the answers. I liked the way Lorana wrote about their beliefs. It made me feel good to read but I didn’t feel I was being preached to or that it was overdone. This book has a happy ending, but don’t miss the Epilogue for the whole story.
This is a great read, whether or not you like reality tv shows! Keeps you turning pages to find out what will happen next. Also, a nice surprise bonus at the end of the book from Lorana!!
I’ve never watched a reality dating show so wasn’t sure how this story would play out but I was delighted that the character’s also didn’t enjoy reality shows and were somehow thrust into the reality show dating world! Both characters were believable and were people I would like to know! Tyler and Laney handled the “Hollywood” life the best they could and came out on top! Tyler had been unlucky in love so his best friend’s wife talked him into auditioning for a reality show. He never thought he’d be chosen but he was! He was uncomfortable from the start, having to be with 20 women vying for his attention and wanting to be chosen as “The One”. Laney was the make-up artist for the show and she feels a connection to Tyler from the very start but can’t act on it because she’s not a contestant! I enjoyed the secondary characters also and they really added to the story. How it all works out is definitely worth the read! Read it yourself!
