Karen Peterson has always known the rodeo was Carson McCall’s first and only love. She got proof of that when they were eighteen and he left her brokenhearted to join the rodeo circuit. She never got the chance to tell him she was pregnant—and never told him she lost the baby. Nine years later, he’s back home at the McCall Ranch nursing injuries from a bull-riding accident. When she sees him, she … she has a wonderful idea. Her sister’s autistic son, Devon, wants to learn to ride, and Carson is the perfect man to teach him. But Carson turns her down flat. Until the consequences of a barroom brawl require community service…teaching Devon to ride. Though Carson is the only cowboy she’ll ever love, she can shield her feelings for the sake of her nephew, even if Carson still makes her heart feel like it’s on a bucking bronco. So when she realizes she’s pregnant again, she’s terrified he’ll leave.
Carson is completely at odds. All he wants to do is heal and return to his life, despite his doctors telling him he’ll never ride at the same level again. He hates that he’s not the man he was, hates that everyone pities the washed-up has-been rodeo star. The only bright part of his day is the hour he spends with Devon—and Karen. Carson never forgot her, never really got over her. She’s still the girl he loved when he was just a kid, only she’s even more beautiful now. As they spend time together, it’s hard to resist their deep attraction, and in the end, they give in to it. Still, the lure of his first love—the rodeo—is strong, and when his doctor clears him to join the circuit, he’s happy—just not as happy as he’d thought he’d be. And when he learns Karen is pregnant, he’s torn even more. Could it be that the rodeo isn’t the only thing that matters anymore…?

The Cowboy’s Pregnant Sweetheart is the third and final book in Leslie North’s McCall Ranch Brothers series and a wonderful, heartfelt and complex story of two people finding each other after many years apart and the difficulties they encounter dealing with their individual burdens, while navigating the unexpected, but very real attraction that burns deep within their souls.
All of the McCalls are front and centre in this family orientated and angst-filled tale. Carson is reeling from an injury that has forced him home, and he never forgot the sweetheart he left behind. Naturally there’s some drama, but it’s also a touching and sensitive storyline when it focuses on the adorable Devon. I thoroughly enjoyed this intriguing book and easily read it in one sitting.
Great rodeo cowboy romance. What happens when your injured and you go home to recoup and try to get better but then your past collides with your present and future. This book has lots of secrets drama and will pull at those heartstrings. I am voluntarily leaving my honest review after reading this arc.
This is a very enjoyable read such a great second chance romance story
This story takes you on an action-packed adventure that is filled with suspense, emotion and some humour.

This is the last book in the McCall brothers series book and it will.make your heart melt.
Carson is the youngest McCall brother who is injured during one of the events in a rodeo he was participating it. He comes back to heal but is unsure on what he actually wants to do.
Karen is his only true love and she convinces adjudge for a certain community service. Does she realize spending time with him will only bring back the feelings from the past.
As I read this I was conflicted on my emotions about Karen sister Kelly she was protecting Karen but the comment she would make in the way she would act seemed harmful but it was only because she didn’t know all the facts.
Karen fought her feelings for Carlson and his the truth from him. At times she seemed insensitive to his injuries, but it was all.to protected her hear.
This was a perfect endingto.a wonderful series. .

A great end to her McCall Ranch Brothers series
Karen, who works with autistic children, finagles help from Carson, the remaining single McCall brother and injured rodeo rider, to teach her nephew how to ride a horse. As the story progresses a war of wills ensues, parts of their past are forgiven, and repeating past mistakes seems inevitable. Leslie North’s The Rancher’s Pregnant Sweetheart is a great end to her McCall Ranch Brothers series. This is a stand alone read however, one might want to read the other books to understand some of the back story. Although, I wouldn’t mind if there was something in the works for Kelly to get a story.
I received a free copy of the book from the author via Booksprout. I had the opportunity to review or not.
Carson has been on the rodeo circuit after leaving the girl he loved. He is back in town on injury leave living at the family farm per his parents will. While home he gets into a fight and is sentenced to community service that his ex is in charge of. Can they rekindle where they left off? Will he leave again? Only time will tell in this final installment of the McCall family trilogy. This is a fast read with a HEA.

This story was great. Amazing characters with a storyline that had so much emotions tied throughout. I really liked this one so much!
The story of Carson and Karen is the last one in this series and my least favorite. Carson is not a particularly likable character to me. I do appreciate the author’s effort to address the issues that involve children with autism. Overall it’s a satisfying read.

Carson came home a broken man. Having been thrown from a bull and gored, he came home to recuperate. After a bar room brawl lands him in trouble he can either spend 30 days in jail or 30 days of community service. He chooses community service but that involves being around his first love Karen. Can these two help Carson find a reason to stay home or will he leave and go back on the rodeo circuit as soon as he is healed leaving Karen broken hearted again?
This is the third book in the McCall Brother series. Each is stand alone and each is a great read

Loyalty and dedication can rationalize a lot of defects. Karen, school sweetheart was pregnant with Carson’s baby, then lost it without telling him. She knew the rodeo was his first love and stepped back. When Carson returns to fulfill the wishes of the will, she hopes he can teach her autistic nephew to ride. Carson said, no! So, she took advantage of a court sentencing to ask for his community service to provide lessons. Karen, means well but her loves seems disproportionate to Carson’s character. They still have the feelings. They act on their feelings and she falls pregnant again. Will she tell him this time? Will he chose the rodeo ove her? Does he need to? Will he remain on the ranch, he seems to be less committed than his brothers? Nice story. I received an ARC from Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Carson’s dream had always been to make it to the top of the Rodeo Circuit, and not even his relationship with Karen would ever change that. Returning home after a severe injury he is forced to work with her and old feelings resurface.
A believable plot, interesting characters, showing the struggle of balancing dreams and realising that sometimes dreams change in a realistic way. I honestly enjoyed reading about them..

He shattered her heart when they were 18 when he broke up and left her, he didn’t know she was pregnant.
Her already shattered heart gotten worse when she suffered a miscarriage.
Almost 10 years later Carson is back, injured and in big trouble with the law until his blast from the past ex girlfriend has the judge make Carson choose community service or jail time.
Carson has 30 days to teach Karen’s artistic nephew to ride a horse. 30 days of hell for both Karen and Carson, she has to keep her heart from letting him get into it but they were made for each other so her hearts was never closed off. History is about to repeat but will he stay for his love and future or will he leave a broken hearting Karen again and chase his dreams of the rodeo???
I can’t believe we are already at the end of this series! I think this may have been the best one yet, but they were all pretty evenly matched in their wonderful ness. I truly enjoyed these characters and the storyline was more unexpected than I thought it would be. I wish there were more brothers to hear snout but I know that her next series will be just as good and engaging

Karen and Carson was young sweethearts when Carson decided to go on the rodeo circuit. Carson returns nine years later injured and in trouble with the law. Karen offers to help him stay out of going to jail by getting him to teach her autistic nephew Devon to ride a horse. Thirty days in jail or thirty days working with Karen. He chose working with Karen. The sparks are still there and it wasn’t long before they were flying. Karen’s secret from the pass and Carson desire to return to the circuit comes to ahead when she finds out she is pregnant.
Real tears are falling from my face.
My husband is looking at me like I or my kindle is broken. Both would be a disaster in his eyes.
That ending was the best possible ending for the series. I do believe the McCall brothers might be my favorite of Leslie North’s trilogies. Carson really was an idiot. But Kelly and Devon set him straight. With love.
I highly recommend this book.
Happy reading!

Loved this last story of the McCall brothers. Carson was happy being back home after recovering from his injuries but he also wasn’t happy about seeing Karen again his love from the past. However, once he started giving Devon who was Karen’s autistic nephew horse riding lessons as part of his community service his feelings changed. He was only staying at the Ranch until he was recovered enough & heis doctor gave him the all clear he was going back to his life at the rodeo only his feeling for Karen came back & she felt the same but neither would admit it. Kate had a secret she had kept from him when he left her the last time for the rodeo & she didn’t want to get hurt again once Carson found out. I really wanted them to see they were meant to be together so couldn’t stop reading. This is a great story but thought it took a little too long for them to realise it.

Hmmm
Carson is not very likable.
He left Karen, his girlfriend, pregnant, to ghost her and join the rodeo. He’s injured and back but he’s being a butt. All he wants to do is get back to the rodeo. Even when Karen is pregnant, again.
I never felt like he showed true contrition or made amends to Karen. I liked Devon.
I enjoyed the third and final book in this series. Carson and Karen dated in high school. Carson left to chase his dreams of being a rodeo star. He didn’t know Karen was pregnant when he left. Shortly after he left, she had a miscarriage and decided not to tell Carson.
Carson’s home now, battered and broken to help fulfill with law and Karen gets the judge to sign off on Carson teaching her autistic nephew how to ride. He’s already told her no but now has no choice. It’s teach the kid to ride or go to jail. He soon finds himself enjoying the lessons and rekindling a relationship with Karen again, but Carson is bound and determined to get back to the rodeo circuit. Can he find happiness at home on the Ranch and with Karen or will he lose it all for one more ride?
