Karen Peterson has always known the rodeo was Carson McCall’s first and only love. She got proof of that when they were eighteen and he left her brokenhearted to join the rodeo circuit. She never got the chance to tell him she was pregnant—and never told him she lost the baby. Nine years later, he’s back home at the McCall Ranch nursing injuries from a bull-riding accident. When she sees him, she … she has a wonderful idea. Her sister’s autistic son, Devon, wants to learn to ride, and Carson is the perfect man to teach him. But Carson turns her down flat. Until the consequences of a barroom brawl require community service…teaching Devon to ride. Though Carson is the only cowboy she’ll ever love, she can shield her feelings for the sake of her nephew, even if Carson still makes her heart feel like it’s on a bucking bronco. So when she realizes she’s pregnant again, she’s terrified he’ll leave.
Carson is completely at odds. All he wants to do is heal and return to his life, despite his doctors telling him he’ll never ride at the same level again. He hates that he’s not the man he was, hates that everyone pities the washed-up has-been rodeo star. The only bright part of his day is the hour he spends with Devon—and Karen. Carson never forgot her, never really got over her. She’s still the girl he loved when he was just a kid, only she’s even more beautiful now. As they spend time together, it’s hard to resist their deep attraction, and in the end, they give in to it. Still, the lure of his first love—the rodeo—is strong, and when his doctor clears him to join the circuit, he’s happy—just not as happy as he’d thought he’d be. And when he learns Karen is pregnant, he’s torn even more. Could it be that the rodeo isn’t the only thing that matters anymore…?

Coming home to heal takes on a whole different meaning
The Cowboy’s Pregnant Sweetheart is the third book and final book in the McCall Ranch Brothers series by Leslie North. This is the story of Carson McCall and his high school girlfriend Karen Peterson. Carson had his eye on becoming a rodeo champion and he left to pursue his dream leaving Karen behind. But what he also left behind was growing in her belly. Unfortunately she lost the baby and Carson never knew about any of it.
Carson has come back to the ranch nine years later to rehab an injury he received. He is angry and upset because of the doctors prognosis for his recovery. It seems they don’t think he will ever be able to go back to the rodeo circuit again, or at least not at the same level he was before. So he wallows in a pit of self-pity that is as big as the moon. Carson and Karen cross paths again and when one thing leads to another they start to grow closer because he has to teach her autistic nephew, Devon, to ride.
Karen is not sure she can trust Carson again because of the way he left and never looked back for her before. Carson on the other hand never forgot about Karen but got caught up in the rodeo circuit life. He now has a chance to make a change but he is going to have to convince Karen he is able and ready for it. Life has other hurdles for this couple to get over if they are to have a HEA together. Plus add another unplanned pregnancy and the doctors clearing Carson to return to the circuit. Boy do they have some decisions to make and Carson will have to make them quickly.
I received a free ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.

This book was gripping, well written & the chemistry between the characters, Carson & Karen, sizzled throughout this wonderful read.
Well done Leslie. I look forward to more!
Third and last book of this series. I actually enjoyed this book best of the three. It does nave a few quirks that should have been worked out before publication. A good, easy read.
The wonderfully written storyline and the well created characters made this book a very enjoyable read! I was so invested in this story that I read this book in one sitting!
The final brother gets his HEA. These two have a past that tears them apart, but there’s secrets that have the potential to ruin them forever or bring them together. The way he treats the child is absolutely perfect and I loved that it brought the two closer, but how she handles everything else made me want to chew her a new one honestly.

This is the story of Carson McCall and Karen Peterson. Carson has always known the rodeo was where he wanted to be. Unbeknownst to him he doesn’t know Karen was pregnant when he left. Well, now he’s back and the story just got interesting. I just love me a Leslie Night story. I look forward to reading more from this author.

Carson McCall returns to the family ranch and after getting in a fight, is sentenced to community service arranged by Karen Peterson, his former girlfriend. He will be teaching Devon, Karen’s autistic nephew, how to ride. Years ago, Karen was pregnant with Carson’s baby when he left for the rodeo circuit and never got the chance to tell him before losing the baby. Now being with Carson while he teaches Devon, brings back the attraction they once felt for each other. She never forgot him and maybe there is a second chance for them…until he tells her he is leaving again. Carson’s interaction with Devon was nice, but all in all he came off as selfish and not quite grown up. I received an advance review copy at no cost and without obligation for an honest review. This is the third book in the McCall Ranch Brothers series. This is Carson and Karen’s story. They were once a couple at the age of eighteen but Carson left for the rodeo circuit and never looked back. Nine years later he is back at the ranch to heal from a bull riding accident and has every intention in returning to the circuit even if the doctors do not advise it. Do Karen and Carson have a second chance at a HEA? Or is it time to move on separately? An entertaining and enjoyable story with characters that have a great chemistry.

Karen Peterson and Carson McCall were high school sweethearts, he was her first love but knew his only love was the rodeo.
Due to a bad accident whilst bull riding Carson returned home to take his turn looking after the ranch but he had a decision to make, did he stay on at the ranch and give up his dream of following the rodeo or did he sell the family ranch?
Unknownst to Carson Karen was pregnant with his child when he left to follow his dream of being a rodeo cowboy but miscarried.
Carson got into a drunken fight in town and he was sentenced to do community service. Karen suggested that he teach her autistic nephew to ride and Carson grudgingly accepted.
The attraction was still there between Carson and Karen but is it enough to pull him away from his bull riding dream.
This is the third and final book of this series which I enjoyed very much.
Carson and Karen’s second chance romance was great. There is a lot that has happened to them both and this book is great at drawing me into the emotions. I am glad in the end these two got their happily ever after because they went through enough to get it.

Loved the McCall Brothers, sexy, fun, action packed adventure filled with exciting charters, witty banter, heart racing twists and undeniable passion… was a great read. Really enjoyed this series and the journey these engaging charters took me on.
Carson left his town to join the rodeo circuit when she was quite young, leaving behind his sweetheart. Now he is back because of his need to heal his injuries.
Karen knows better to stay near Carson, but she can’t help herself and when Carson’s doctor clears him to join the circuit again, she feels she is having a déjà vu.
I like Devon, Karen’s nephew, as he is the one that always puts a smile on my face.
I like Karen too, but I don’t understand why she keeps her secrets from Carson, It took me a while to like Carson. He is kind of selfish. He doesn’t think what the brothers think or need. He doesn’t think about Karen as well. He is so immersed in his own world; he just takes his brother and Karen for granted. However, in the end, he redeems himself.

Rodeo King to Romance and Family. This is the third book of the McCall Ranch Brothers. The last brother to find happiness is Carson. He is currently injured and back at the ranch to complete his duty as requested in the will. This story is about Carson and Karen. The story starts off with Carson in front of a judge as his hot head got him in trouble but due to his lawyer and Karen’s help, he was given 30 days probation but he needed to teach a special child how to ride. This child is Devon, who is Karen’s nephew. Devon loves Carson and wants to be like him, so this makes it easy for Carson to do; his only problem is Karen being around so much as she was his high school sweetheart that he left behind to go for his fame as the rodeo man! Well things get off to a great start the banter between Karen and Carson it too funny, but will he be able to forgive her for not telling him what he left behind those years ago and now the secret she wants to keep from him? This was a great read as with all of Leslie’s book this also have a HEA and is a must read.

A sweet romantic story about two young people taking wrong decisions when they were young and having a second chance years later.
Karen Peterson and Carson McCall were high school sweethearts. Carson was Karen’s first and only love, but Karen knew Carson’s first love was the rodeo. Carson broke Karen’s heart when he left her behind to join the rodeo circuit. Carson is back on the McCall ranch healing from injuries suffered from a bull riding accident and taking his turn on running the ranch per his parent’s will. Carson finds himself sitting in front of a judge after a bar room brawl that will require him serving community service. Karen suggests to the judge that Carson devote his time teaching her autistic nephew, Devon, how to ride. Carson is mad that he will end up helping Karen after he turned downed her proposal when she first suggested it to him. Carson only wants to heal and get back to the rodeo. As Carson and Karen spend time together, they find old feelings come rushing back, and both realize that they never got over the loved they felt for each other. Carson and Karen give into their feelings that could change both of their futures. How will Carson react when he learns that Karen kept a secret from him when they were eighteen and is keeping a secret now? Will Carson walk away from Karen and the ranch when his doctor says he can return to the rodeo circuit? How will his brothers react to Carson leaving the ranch to return to the rodeo? Can Karen and Carson find their happily ever after? I really enjoyed The Cowboy’s Pregnant Sweetheart by Leslie North. Leslie North is a MUST read author for this reader. I I would definitely recommend getting The Cowboy’s Pregnant Sweetheart and the other books in the McCall Ranch Brothers series by Leslie North.
