Bella Whitmore is the heir to the Whitmore Shipping fortune. Refusing to be pigeon-holed into the socialite box, Bella has worked her entire life to show her father that she can be the son he never had and take over the Whitmore Shipping Empire. So when she wakes up, on a ranch in Montana, missing the memories of the last month of her life, you’d think that would be the worst case scenario. And … And it is…until she realizes the devil she’d worked so hard to avoid for the last year is now her husband.
Sawyer Cooper knows he’s a devil. Handsome, charismatic, and with an eye for feeding people’s vices, Sawyer’s reinvented himself as a shark in the business world, but very few realize that he’s actually a Cooper of the Country Coop fortune. But rather than resting on the laurels (and red-neck reputation) of Country Coop, Sawyer wants to show the world exactly how important farming can be. To do this, he needs Bella Whitmore’s help. Every bit as beautiful as her name suggests, and smarter than everyone else in the room, Sawyer knows that she could make his dreams come true, both inside and outside of the bedroom. And after a year of pursuing her, she’s finally said yes — to everything.
But after a horseback riding accident, Bella’s brain has reset back to the beginning, and Sawyer was never good at starting a game over. Especially not after he’d already won. Now, Sawyer needs to figure out how to woo her for a second time. Because this time around it’s not just his professional pride on the line: it’s his heart.

Bella is smart and successful however her father never sees it so when she wakes up at Sawyers Ranch with no idea what happened as her last memory is of when he stood up to her farther and a function months ago. As Bella slowly gets her memories back and finds out her father has basically disowned her and cut her off, Sawyer hopes she will fall in love with him again while they also try and build a business. As this is a fairly quick read some things don’t go into a lot of detail which is fine but would have loved more, this doesn’t take away from the story and you still get to know everyone and I really liked the book. Bring on book 2!

Sweetly sexy, action packed and engaging romantic journey filled with love, uncertainty, misunderstandings and exciting passion…. a heartwarming second chance that is both thrilling and emotional. Loved this story.
Bella is the daughter of a wealthy Boston shipping company. Her father believes woman do not have a place at the head of a company. Sawyer is from Montana but is a business man in Boston. He wants to start a business where you order fresh vegetables and it ships straight to you within two days.
Bella wakes up in a strange bed and can’t remember anything from the last month. She doesn’t realize she married Sawyer and is living in Montana now. She fell off a horse and hit her head, the doctor says to let her memories come back on their own. Sawyer won her once and hopefully he can win her again.
Cowboys, city slickers, and secrets. Steamy. A little confusing after reading the blurb. But all in all pretty good story.

Stubborn and prideful cowboy
The Cowboy’s Forgetful Bride by Leslie North is the first book in a new series by this author.
Well written with an interesting storyline and plot, this book explores amnesia and how the main characters deal with their circumstances.
Bella and Sawyer have a lot to overcome and understand as well as come to terms with. All this angst leads to a wonderful conclusion in the form of a HEA fitting a much needed and desired new beginning for these two.
I read an ARC of this book from Hidden Gems and voluntarily share my review.
Sawyer Cooper, heir to the Cooper Coop has been eyeing Bella Whitmore, the daughter of the CEO of Whitmore Shipping for a year. He has made his own way to success but wants to move ina different direction. Bella’s father will never hand over the reins of his company to his daughter, because he doesn’t believe woman are an equal to men. When at the same social function and her father tells Sawyer that truth, sawyer comes to her defense and puts the man down in a humiliating way. Bella overheard the entire conversation and is drawn even more toSawyer than she was before. Bella wakes up with a throbbing headache and doesn’t recognize the room she is in, she does recognize her family doctor. Then she sees Sawyer in the background and doesn’t understand why he is there. She doesn’t recall the riding accident, or the fact that she and Sawyer have been married for over a month. It is heartbreaking for Sawyer that she doesn’t remember anything since the social event they attended. I thoroughly enjoyed this story, at times it was very emotional. Good read.

I am a huge fan of Leslie’s and she did not disappoint with this one either. I loved Sawyer and Bella’s story, and one of the best things is how they got to that point.
I’m looking forward to more of the series.

Sawyer had been persueing Bella for a year, but she wouldn’t give him the time of day. After a confrontation with her father at an art gallery, he finally won her over and they got married. Now, a month later after being thrown off a horse, she doesn’t remember any of it. Will Sawyer ever be able to win her back or will this be the end of their marriage and partnership? Great book with wonderful characters. I can’t wait to meet the rest of the Cooper men.

This is a sweet story. They start off like a business arrangement then fall in love after an accident causes her to lose her memory. He’s a sweet guy, but too caught up in the business to realize what’s in front of him til it’s too late. I really enjoyed this story and look forward to more.

This was an amazing book and I think I loved it so much because it takes us on a journey where two people love each other but one still feels the need to be won again and Sawyer rises to the occasion and proves to Bella why they were married in the beginning.
As Bella and Sawyer struggle through their business life that seems to cross with their personal life at times it’s heartbreaking to know what they must be going through. But when Bella decides to separate business and personal well then some real feelings surface for the other to see.

Talk about persistent cowboy. It took Sawyer a year to get Bella on his side and even then he still had a lot of work to do. I could see their chemistry and their love all throughout and I am glad they worked out their differences and Bella realized what she really wanted. I couldn’t put the book down and had to read it in one sitting. Even when I had to put it down, it was only for a few minutes because I kept thinking about what would happen next.

This book was intensely romantic! I loved it from the beginning and could not stop reading it. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book in exchange for a free copy.
This is interesting, entertaining and romantic. Sawyer is bold, daring, optimistic and determined. Bella is stubborn, insecure and impulsive. Sawyer and Bella have been dancing around each other for a year, but when Bella wakes up with amnesia and finds that she’s married to Sawyer, she can’t figure out why. While she recovers from her accident, she tries to figure out their relationship, and if she can trust him. He ties to be patient waiting for her to remember falling in love with him, but there’s a truth that complicates that memory. He’s romantic and sweet, she’s skittish and untrusting. It’s a great love story.

3.5 Stars
This is book one in the Brothers of Cooper Ranch series and it features Sawyer and Bella. The first thing that comes to mind after reading this book is that it was too short. The story line was great but it needed more filler story. I felt like I wanted to relax in the story for a minute and I couldn’t. Sawyer and Bella were fantastic characters but again, I didn’t get to spend enough time with them.
I love a good cowboy story, even one about a rich cowboy. The writing was great and I’m looking forward to the next book.
It will not take you long to figure out how the author got the title for this work. It was a really interesting way to write this story I must say. Such great twists and I did like Bella slant on starting over. I got two other books from this series and I am so looking forward to reading them. This book was great fun with super characters and so worth the time to read. I did receive a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.
I really enjoyed this story. This is Sawyer and Bella’s story. Sawyer and Bella made a deal and got married. But Bella fell off a horse and lost her memory. She doesn’t know wen and why she was married to Sawyer. Now Sawyer has to make his wife fall in love with him again. This was a down hoe, fun loving read. It was heartwarming to see them fall in love and to watch both of them grow. I love Leslie NortH cowboy stories.

Bella Whitmore and Sawyer Cooper’s story had me smiling a story that is well-written and kept me turning pages, I had to know what Bella was going to do. This is the first book in the Brothers of Cooper Ranch and I can hardly wait to read the next book. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
With one bump to the head a month of important memories are gone to Bella. Sawyer is lost in what to do. He loves Bella but he may have lost her. He cant tell her anything as the Dr. has advised not to give her any information but to let her remember on her own. Together they have a huge business deal that Sawyer doesn’t want to lose. Can they make it work and keep their love together in the process. This is a second chance to fall in love. Was it meant to be the first time?
I am a huge fan of Leslie North books. This was a bit different from what I am used to reading from her but seeing that this will be a series I was expecting that. I feel like as I read the following books they will just continue to get better. I would have like to see a bit more back story and support of outside characters in the writing. This was a quick read. I look forward to the next book in the series to see what will unfold with the Montana cowboys.
A Marriage of Convenience or True Love? Will a case of Amnesia help it or hurt it?
The Cowboy’s Forgetful Wife by Leslie North is well-written and fast paced. It grabbed my attention right away and kept it. The characters, Bella and Sawyer, are complex and have a very interesting situation involving a case of amnesia. Will it be good for their relationship or will it ruin everything especially if or when it resolves itself? Will Sawyer be able to successfully romance Bella again? Will they find their true love and be able to maintain it? You will really root for these characters and hope for a truly happy outcome of their story. I recommend this entertaining read.

This was a quick sexy read. I liked the characters, Bella and Sawyer, but I wished there was more to the story between them. It seemed, especially from Saywer’s POV, that he married for convenience then he was in love. There was no progression in between. At least with Bella, since she has to regain her memory after falling from a horse, you can follow her recovery and see what she sees in Sawyer to fall in love.

Bella Whitmore and Sawyer Cooper have played cat and mouse for a while. Bella is a Bostonian socialite, the heiress of Whitmore Shipping, and Sawyer comes from a successful family but is determined to make a name for himself. When Bella awakes one morning she finds she is now living in Montana and is married to Sawyer. She has no memory of the past month, the month in which she and Sawyer got married and moved to Montana and have been working on a new business. Can they find their way back to each other and why they married? Can they work together on the new business? Leslie North has created another great story and another well written series. Each book in the series is stand alone.
